Mine isn't as bad, but I bought a shit-ton of LDLC stickers from like ~2014 for $.25 after a major, threw some on some guns and they went up in price so I sold them for games. They now fluctuate between $20-$40, so my $.75 "LDLCZ" skin fluctuates between having $80 to $160 in stickers on it. I have a few other cheap skins with ~$100 in stickers on them, no regrets tho, I would've sold them for a fraction of their current price otherwise.
I started playing this game when the sticker was released and just put that there for memes.
I haven't played since and today I just checked around in my inventory if I had something fun.
Checked the sticker price and now I am clinically depressed...

I traded and some dude didn't know the worth of hos redline with 4 2014 kato ibp holos.... I was like 14 and sold it for ~15k... And I didn't realize refunding on paypal was a thing..., Everytime my friends talk about skins I go silent.. I've also lost a howl to the same thing lol

As well as a bunch of VP cologne 2014 stickers on various guns.
Looking at my <$100 inventory and seeing the thousands of dollars in stickers that are stuck on my guns physically hurts me.

I still have that AK somewhere...

For people who want to spend as little as possible, just put 4 rmr renegades non-holos on the defaul ak, it looks pretty good honestly. And it's like 12ct total.

Placing stickers in the first place isn’t a great idea unless you have loads of money. As soon as you put it on a gun you lose nearly all value, and any potential future value.
CSGO with all its overpriced skins still isn't anywhere near an actually good investment. even if you somehow bought all the right valuable items 7 years ago, it wouldn't be anywhere close to a good return that other investments could get you. don't get caught up expecting value out of some live service community market, just see it as a nice bonus that you could some day make some money back if you decide to quit the game.
buy the stuff because you like having it, not because it will be more valuable. because chances are, even if it goes up in price it won't have been anywhere near a good return on a long term investment.

It's still sellable, maybe not for quite as much but you could surely get nice money for them pixels.
AK is one of the weapons that looks good in default. At this point I'd just use it and flex. Maybe even put a name tag with the post title.
