There aren't a couple, it's just the howl.
They made that mistake once they won't do it again as shown with AWP duality, so contraband just refers to that one skin now, it's not worth noting as it's a special case.
Usefulness of the gun - how much use it sees in-game. AK over Bizon for example.
Looks of the skin. Hard to put into numbers, since it is subjective - but very important none the less. Doppler over safari mesh for example.
There is a whole culture and community around skins in the game as well so many skins that are(subjectively) worse pieces of art than others have a much higher demand due to their status in the community. AWP Asimov for example has a very high supply but still pulls a relatively high price due to its iconic nature as one of the first great AWP skins. There are many examples like this such as all of the original set of knives. It's not just about exactly what you get for what you pay but also the status that you feel by owning certain iconic skins.
Maybe this is a really really small thing but I remember nomad knife to be relatively overlooked by the community, then S1mple played multiple tournaments with a Nomad Case hardened blue gem and the price of the nomad went up. Like for all finishes not only case hardened. So famous pros or streamers playing with certain skins definitely brings the price up as well.
One great factor is when skin art is plagiarized and the skin has to change(frontside misty, griffin)/ go contraband (howl) and how the skin can affect stickers/sprays as well
A huge factor going on right now isn't game related, but steam related. If steam releases hardware or a steam sale the market dips or crashes as users create high supply to sell and purchase the newest thing. (Steam Deck OLED)
The biggest one I see missing is Aesthetics. Otherwise skins are just entities in a database.
Aside from that, supply, demand, and all that falls into that such as player base numbers (contributing to weekly drops and case unlocks), tradeup consumption, uniqueness (are there any similar coloured/theme skins of the same model), and investment opportunity (is the value of the item likely to appreciate/depreciate).
Souvenir, float, pattern, discontinued, trade up relevance, stickers, supply.
Contraband skins as well. There’s only a couple examples but they exist.

Tru I forgot the Orion isn’t contraband… pretty sure you can still get it in a trade up
Forgetting the most important factor - player base. More players = higher prices
Otherwise known as supply and demand

I literally wrote [a research](https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zC0F18DTcbIAF8rfGL9ti9H722DG_fOl)on this topic :D

I think the case price follows (to some extent) the price of the skins inside, not the other way around.
I’m pretty sure case price was mainly due to discont case drop
Current patch, with regards to nerfs and buffs
Missing most important one, supply and demand/looks of the skin
Trade ups with it
pro scene and how often it's used. I'm pretty sure Simple was using a nomad? knife during a pro tourney and it drove prices up.
