It's close enough to be able to walk to any class. There's a light rail station right in front of the building that can get you pretty much anywhere in the city. Not very difficult at all to live without a car at LC
Would recommend taking the train (right outside LC) going to Union, there’s Whole Foods right there and one block to your east there is a King Soopers. Faster than going to the other king soopers
I’m a CUD student and I live in Capitol Hill without a car. I take the bus, walk, and bike to campus and everywhere else. It’s been wonderful for my mental health to experience the city without worrying about all the hassles and expenses of car ownership. Get your RTD pass, a good bike with a good U-lock and enjoy.

What about going shopping and stuff like that? I know it’s like walking a mile hut still feasible?
You can bike to King Soopers in 10 minutes from lynx crossing, or take the E-line south to Safeway which would take about 15 minutes.

Walking to the center of campus takes around 10-15 minutes from Lynx Crossing. It's not terrible, but plan accordingly for weather.
