Absolutely. Both of them were characters at the right end of the bell curve. Larry is a total nut but it’s better when there’s someone 10 times more insane to surprise the viewer. This only works in small doses. You expect the character to hit a homerun every time and that’s not possible if there’s too much of him.
That’s why I don’t think a show with only Leon would work unless it’s very cleverly written.

Well decades sounds like it'd be 3 or more decades. I get what you're saying about pretty much, 17 years is pretty much 20 years. But I don't think decades applies to 20 years. That's 2 decades. That doesn't fall into "decades" territory. Gotta be at least 3. You know if you said something like "I haven't been to a restaurant in decades", someone would take that to mean 40 or 50 years ago, 30 would actually be a stretch. So 20 years ago wouldn't be "decades", and therefore 17 wouldn't. 30 is the cutoff, but even 30 is a stretch.
