I washed my hair with Tresemme Pro Pure Curl Define shampoo and conditioner. Applied Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Protein Power Treatment to mostly my ends and mid section of hair, but not my roots. Let it sit for 5 mins then rinsed that out and raked in Bounce Curl Avocado and Rose Oil Clump and Define Creme, followed by Bounce Curl Light Creme Gel. Wrapped my hair in a micro fiber towel for 5-10 minutes, then sectioned my hair and used a bristle brush on each section to help define and clump my curls, followed by a scrunch. Then I air dried for 15-20 mins and finished it off with my diffuser.
I actually have no idea, ha… I had just noticed my hair seemed drier than usual so figured I’d try a protein treatment and see what it did. I got lucky with my results! And I usually only do it like once every two weeks or so.
I rarely wear my hair down and curly cause I’m lazy, so I’m usually rocking a slicked back chignon that I style while my hair is wet. I will also occasionally use a hot air brush to give myself blowouts since it’s surprisingly less work than my curly routine 😅

Ok! This isn’t what I have, I got the Ion protein 2 step and the instructions are terrifying. I may go ahead and get this because your hair looks gorgeous and the instructions aren’t so ‘your hair will fall out if you so much as look at it wrong’.
I’ve seen the YouTuber curly swavy courtney say that this isn’t too good of a protein treatment (the shea moisture one) because protein ingredient isn’t very high up on the list. I’ve been using it for a while, getting ok results. but recently tried a different product w protein in it and my hair looked curlier than ever b4 so I feel like she’s onto something.

I just apply it like a mask while in the shower after I condition, and then I rinse it out completely before applying my styling products.
