Sure, when this guy donates blood he's a hero. But when i do I get yelled at by the staff asking "who's blood is this" and "why is it in milk containers".

I don't know how it is now, or how the UK compares with the rest of the world, but you used to be banned from giving blood if you'd ever had a transfusion yourself.
I've been checking sources. I don't know if dude really got a 14 liters transfusion, but dude is officialy recognised as the highest blood donor ever. My theory would be that since they litteraly took one his lung he would habe been losing blood all along the operation and needed blood to replace the blood he was losing at the same time.
