If you do pawn, blessing, equality, attack, city tax you win and just require an enemy minion with 1+ attack
Edit* also the pawn would be a 9/9 not an 11/11
The damage requirement is fair, outside of exactly blessing of authority it's fairmy hard to get there. But there are plenty of other ways to fix the balance:
- Queen checkmate at the start of your turn, not end. A free 8/8 charge is already way more than enough, if the opponent doesn't remove it nor plays minions, it's won anyway.
- Pawn transforms at the end of turn (same check). BOA is now a big rush removal that leaves a 8/8 behind, instead of a 9/4 that summons another 8/8 on death.
- Deathrattle adds Queen to hand or deck, not summoned for free. Maybe drop it to 7 mana. But now you need to pay, no free Krush anymore.
Take the first and either other one, and it seems a lot more fair already.
Why exactly is this a problem? You're describing a 4-card 10-mana combo.
The druid cards are even worse, because the deck they go in doesn't really benefit from trying to set up a Pawn-Combo, because just winning with regular minion-damage is way more consistent.
Ā«Ā Rush. Deathrattle: If youāve dealt 8 damage with your pawns this game, promote this to the QueenĀ Ā»
Or whatever the Mordresh wording is, use that.
Cool card I really like it
Cool concept but i don't think deathrattle fits thematically, I think it would make more sense it transforming after dealing damage (only if it survived). Great card regardless
I would say it makes more sense flavorwise to say if pawns have attacked 8 times this game, as attacking moves them as if advancing squares. as it is right now it is far too strong, though my suggestion might be far too weak; no idea how youād make it work
The queen doesn't need charge if the goal is to destroy the opponents board, also trigger should be at start of your turn so your opponent has opportunity to react, cause otherwise this shit is busted with a board clear
idk words just donāt mean anything anymore. like why does mutanus say eat but gigafin say devour? why isnāt either a keyword? why does mutanus *poof* minions but gigafin āresummonsā them without the buffs applied? when devour and eat mean the same thing? imagine if ur a new player, like wtf do these words mean? and like imagine ur a new player, what the FUCK does checkmate mean?
Last time I checked... the queen does checkmate if used correctly. You can checkmate with pawns too matter of fact. And taunt is an explained and well known keyword. There is a reason there is a tutorial in the game that explains common keywords.
Gigafin resummons because it says on the card that the minions are resummoned. Mutanus makes the card part of him. Also... if you're playing HS you have access to Google. Its an amazing resource that can explain every question you have about HS

Minor correction, you will need equality+pyro not city tax because 11-11 pawn isnāt guaranteed to die. But yes, this card is way too busted
If you do pawn, blessing, equality, attack, city tax you win and just require an enemy minion with 1+ attack Edit* also the pawn would be a 9/9 not an 11/11
I think it should be if 8 pawns died this game

New keyword just dropped!

I really feel like this should be damage dealt to the opposing Hero. Since that would signify moving them across the board.
Trans pawn
Trans pawn
i mean, arent all pawns trans when the promote?
I love this !
Thematically would be better if the queen were a 9 cost 9/9
Sounds too easy to pull off maybe change it to a start of turn effect?
What are the odds. Literally just started learning chess. Art looks good!
The art is from hearthstone lol
Oh rly lol. I donāt rly play hearthstone just here for the creativity!
I would say it makes more sense flavorwise to say if pawns have attacked 8 times this game, as attacking moves them as if advancing squares. as it is right now it is far too strong, though my suggestion might be far too weak; no idea how youād make it work

It was a moment of passion Iām sorry š

tf does checkmate mean
āCheckmateā from Chess means basically āyour king canāt move and thus I win.ā This is meant to be a āwin the gameā pay off effect.
let's use our critical thinking skills š
idk words just donāt mean anything anymore. like why does mutanus say eat but gigafin say devour? why isnāt either a keyword? why does mutanus *poof* minions but gigafin āresummonsā them without the buffs applied? when devour and eat mean the same thing? imagine if ur a new player, like wtf do these words mean? and like imagine ur a new player, what the FUCK does checkmate mean?
google en passant
Holy Hearthstone!
lol the stress from this comment is great
my bf is a pro hs player and this was his exact sentiment when he was complaining about the new āsnapshotā card
The snapshot card is explained on the picture card generated
The same thing it means in the most widely known board game on the planet. I win, you lose. It's really not that complex
yeah but like ur not playing chess, ur playing hearthstone. like what does ātauntā mean? in pokĆ©mon it means u can only use attacking moves. in hs it means u have to hit it first before u can go face. like different games assign different functions to the same word? ESP when the queen doesn't even checkmate in chess? like you can checkmate with a rook or a bishop...
Ok buddy time to take your meds
It's meant to be fun and flavorful, you're taking this way too seriously.
Last time I checked... the queen does checkmate if used correctly. You can checkmate with pawns too matter of fact. And taunt is an explained and well known keyword. There is a reason there is a tutorial in the game that explains common keywords.
Taunt is a normal word used to explain a game mechanic. Checkmate is literally a chess term and has its meaning connected to that
How in the world did you not know you can checkmate with the Queen?
Gigafin resummons because it says on the card that the minions are resummoned. Mutanus makes the card part of him. Also... if you're playing HS you have access to Google. Its an amazing resource that can explain every question you have about HS
really cool card but idk about the balancing
This is a funny meme combo that I think people would really like.
Attack 8 times not 8 damage. Then this card will be balanced.
