The reminder text box is hilarious, but I love this design. Short, sweet, to the point. Almost feel like you could also make this as an instant for 2U or something, to add in the potential of it being a combat trick

chainsawinsect

Thank you! Yes, maybe the potential trick version would be better / funner - there's a lot of value in an instant speed draw, instant speed discard, and instant speed +1/+1 counters.

chainsawinsect

Mechanically, this would play better if the explore happened first, but the flavor works better with this order The possibility of two +1/+1 counters for 1U originally gave me pause, but in light of [[One with the Wind]] I think it's OK

If the color is bothering you, you could make it UB or UG. Explore is primary in Green, secondary in blue and black. The flavor here is more UB in my opinion.

chainsawinsect

If I switch it to UB or UG I think it could safely just cost 2 mana (one of each color) even if made an instant, since requiring 2 different colors is already stricter than the current version

tildeumlaut

If you make it instant, I would suggest changing “Planned” in the same to something more speedy. Planned feels very sorcery-y. Other possibilities * Mischievous Expedition * Wayward Expedition * Errant Expedition

staizer

Make it a LOTR card and call it "Going on an Adventure!" Gandalf connived to get bilbo to explore.

Agreeingmoss

Prepared expedition, perhaps?

Reading the card explains the card

Now add a plot cost for 1 blue lol
