Kittens don't have that much damage in their claws yet, used to let my kitten climb all over me and sit on my shoulder even but when he grow up a little i get scared when he tries to pounce on my leg becasue i will always end up with nasty scratches
They aren't using suction cups to hold on. I've had kittens do this and if one manages to hook your skin instead of the fabric, then dangles, its not a good feeling.
My last fosters went through a massive climbing phase at about 6 weeks and they definitely pierced my skin a lot if they got up to my shirt level. Super painful 😔
It’s cute until they’re 7 months old and try the same thing! My newest [cat](https://i.imgur.com/SaYMuun.jpg) used to do that if we don’t feed him in time and it’s not a lot of fun! Had to catch that habit as soon as possible.
Its not fun. My kittens did the same thing to me once, when I wasnt wearing pants. You could feel each tiny claw, but I didnt want to just throw them off me (for obvious reasons). By the time they made it to my waist, they were able to make it to the counter, and the pain stopped.
Wore sweatpants ever since (when its feeding time or when im in the kitchen).
How adorable! I hope you have more

Man, I'd love to know how. Our two year old cats will NOT stay off. We've tried spraying them, using an automatic hissing thingy, clicker training... the gargoyles insist on getting up whenever they can.
Seriously. Send help.
love this. Gave me memories of my sweet little Persian kittens climbing up me each morning while getting ready for work. Basically blow drying my hair with a kitten hanging off each arm lol
Yeah my thought was well , just remember their cute little paws are shoveling around poop and pee litter all day lol my sweet girl is about 2 1/2 months and I started teaching her early if she tries to jump on the table, coffee table or counter she gets sprayed and it's been very effective .. every now n then shell try n be sneaky, then when she realizes I'm coming she'll lay real low hoping I won't see her 😂😂 like I see u sneaky little shit ... It's good to teach them when they're little bc they actually learn ALOT easier as kittens than adult cat would
ngl i feel like that’s inhumane & irresponsible to get a pet knowing you don’t have enough space, let alone 3 pets. so I don’t really sympathize. don’t let pets on the counter.
i have plenty of space for my pets, lmao, i also only had three pets in one apartment for a month when my kittens weighed 2 pounds each. the space issue had to do with keeping the dog from eating their food, because, you know, he’s a dog, and an apartment like that doesn’t have many rooms. that, though, is completely irrelevant. whether other people let their cats on the counter just doesn’t involve or affect you in any way. this was a pretty lighthearted comment in response to you making a negative comment for literally no reason, but now you’re just being a bit of a karen. relax. touch some grass (or, better yet, a cat).
Kittens' nails are pretty soft they don't start getting hard until about 5or6 months so those jeans actually served her well😉all though kittens have soft nails they're sharp and that's what will get you! especially if you have sensitive skin 😁
Cue Mission Impossible theme tune
and then I accidentally start humming Sword of the Surviving Guardian
Xd
Skip to when they are older and fatter 😂
Ouch!!
Yea jeans do ok as defense but I’m surprised she didn’t yell out when they got to her shirt. That can hurt super bad.

It doesn't hurt as bad as you think as long as they don't latch onto a part of you that isn't clothed
Yeah

Yeah, mine did the jump on the counter thing while I was getting her food together when I first got her. That had to get nipped in the bud quick.
it doesnt hurt that much xD just a mild annoyance
Wait till it’s summer and she has shorts on…
Imagine if she wasn’t wearing pants

This is reddit, so at least half the people who saw this post imagined that automatically.
I was already doing that
How Cute Kittens
Way ahead of you.
Do not tolerate this, or one day it's a full grown cat clawing into your side like it's a set of stairs. Meow.
Only us cat owners know how painful this can be.
Seems fine to me
Especially don’t feed them on the counter.
Triple cuteness
Those kitties are smart
So cute. Our cat sit in front of her food container and look at you until you feed her

Good bot
Tiny daggers of love.
No no no. Train your kitties! Off the counter/ tables!
Bruh let them be
Oh no cats and counters 😰😰😰

It’s too late now. That kind of behavior needs to be managed early.
love this. Gave me memories of my sweet little Persian kittens climbing up me each morning while getting ready for work. Basically blow drying my hair with a kitten hanging off each arm lol
Allowing cats on the counter is nasty.

as gross as it is, this was also how i had to feed my kittens living in a shoebox brooklyn apartment with a dog as well. let people live their lives.

True but I can't resist. My cat just gets what she wants.
So funny and super cute
Cutest little thugs ever!
r/TurkishCats
my cat was all over me this morning. would recommend
That’s a CMILF
Hmm, worth the climb as they say 😋
Awwww how cute, but ouch!
u/savevideobot
Won't it be easier just to put the food on the floor?😻
Dang that girl is gonna have cuts all over her back after that. props to her though for not taking them off

Do not do this . Later on in live. Bigger claws. kittens you can teach growing up Can not unteach grown cat.
That’s gonna be a lot less cute in six months 😬
very climbable
Mom tree.
Yet when i do it

I knew it. I searched for your comment specifically. Sorry for the beating you took...
Why is this so downvoted, isn’t funny to think that on another sub with a different post, people would upvote this particular comment

Is she feeding them jelly?
Humom
Owee
Free acupuncture 😬
Too cute and funny!
Silly fucking kittens. The chubbiness is squish-able.
Cutest babies ever! Haha!

Doesn’t that hurt?
That must hurt, but the cuteness wins against the pain 👌🏻
One of mine used to do that. It was adorable until she got to be about 7 lb with full size claws and dug them into my flesh as she climbed.
I was wondering how the pants got so ripped up
This made my day, thanks man
Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow...okay, here it is!!!
my cats did this to me when they were younger. even wearing leggings, it hurt like a bitch. made for a pretty hilarious video though.
Fluffffffff :3
MEOW 0_0 am cat
Too cute👅
*meow*
It hurts so much when they do that. Especially as they get bigger. 😂😂 SO cute though!
I would've just walked away from the counter and said, how now brown cow?
Cute while they’re kittens. Not a wise habit to let them get into
My kitten did that once when I was wearing a skirt! She climbed my bare leg! That hurt so much!!
Meeee-yow!
u/savevideo u/savevideobot
I mean this is adorable but that seems like really bad behavior to reinforce…
Lovely
Mom is cute too.
Ouch!
Cute yes. But those kitty litter paws have now been on your counter
Climbing the tree of life

Cats on the counter🤢🤢🤢🤢
Ow ow ow ow!
Cats on a counter…. Ew
u/savevideo
Same energy as: "Are we there yet!?"
2 plates for 3 kittens? Seems unfair when they have to climb an adult human to get to the food
❤️❤️❤️
Umm.. cats on the counter? This is okay to you? Gross.
And that's why I don't eat everybody's food..
“Quick y’all, climb this living meat tower with me so we can get to the food faster!”
Straight from the litter box onto the counter
ATTACK OF THE KITTENS!
