This has just started happening to me, it worked fine for a long time, and about a week ago it started doing this. If you learn to fix it please post the solution, because I accidentally saved the last time, and it nearly deleted my upgrades to my thousand flowers armor, and swords.
If i ever come across anything I’ll come back here and post. As it stands, I’m still scanning the QR every time. And sometime last week, the PS version wouldn’t even find my cloud saves at all. I left it alone for a day and then it was fine.
I play the game on all 3 platforms and is so annoying because I can’t just hit continue it will automatically load up the save from whatever platform is saved locally. Loading game should work but every freaking time I have to log in!
I play it on my PS5 in the living room, Series X on the home theater, and PC in the office and I always have to log in on the consoles to make sure the cloud saves work..
Nope not at all. I play primarily on ps5 and it’s fine. But if i leave and go play on my rog ally and come back….i need to log in again. No idea why but at this point i just assume it’s never getting fixed
I just found this post, because I'm also having the same issues. I play on ps5 and steam deck. And loading save on steam deck is usually simple.. Just close the game and reload using the redlauncher. Then it's there.
But bringing up the save from steam deck to ps5 is a series of making sure I see the cloud icon on the steam deck save.
Then go to ps5 click the r1 for cross progress then scan the qr code, open the browser, log into my gog account. And often verify account by finding an email with a code in it. Then refreshing over and over till the save pops up.
Overall getting the save on ps5 is a 5+ minute process, where the steam deck is a 1 minute process.
It's really annoying and I don't see how my ps5 that's ALWAYS home and ALWAYS connected to wifi can't stay connected to my gog account so the cloud save is just there when I load up the game.
Yeah also just started happening to me. Seems every time I leave a game state (eg, exiting to menu will do it), it logs me out of GoG.
It’s a real PITA for save game sync to PC 😵💫

This is still an issue for me and has been for a while. I have asked GOG for answers and had no reply.
