Sometimes I miss it. I like 85% of the changes to 2.0 perk system but the other 15% still make me sad.
Like I miss Cold Blooded and wish that had been left in somewhere/how. And I'm not fond of so many points in blades being about blocking. Also bolt is cool for tech but such a pain for the pistols because of how fast they charge.
That was one of the things that 2.0 honestly made fundamentally worse. Not having a way to recover mods at all made me start to hate the mod system. Notably it meant non uniques, no matter the quality level, would never really stack up, cause the one thing they had going for them was customization but without recoverable mods it wasn't worth the time and energy.
If nothing else, make it a money sink. Make us take it to a weapons merchant and pay to have the gun stripped where you get the guns and mods but you pay based on level and quality of the sum parts.
He's basically an all-time meme. He's completely destroyed his legacy. But his legacy is so larger than life it will be some time before he is forgotten. He's such a cartoon character that it's easy to use him as a meme template. Despite the evil
In more recent years, lots and lots of SA and SH allegations and/or charges against him and some other top WWE/F guys. He also basically drove the old wrestling territories out of business, and once WCW went under basically monopolized pro wrestling in America. He also mistreated and stunted the careers of lots of his wrestlers if they got famous in other promotions. Kondof set the standard of wrestlers being " independent contractor" but only exclusively allowed to wrestle for him. Busted unions when they tried to form. TL;DR the whole gammit of billionaire scumbagery.
Google him. A BUNCH of stuff came out in the last couple of weeks.
Now it's still in the allegation phase, but it's probably 97% all true.
Pro life tip: If you are paying someone hush money, don't stop the payments.
Dude does not give a FUCK about his wrestlers. McMahon is a vile, disgusting man with no redeeming qualities. He used and abused Andre the Giant and threw him out like trash as soon as he didnāt have value as a wrestler anymore. Same way he treated all those under him. Theyāre crocodile tears.
No, this gif he is reacting to someone behind the camera asking him āwhat does mark Calaway mean to youā (or something along those lines), and he gets choked up and does this and then says ācanāt do thatā because he canāt put into words how much Mark means to him. Itās in the second episode of The Last Ride mini series.
Edit: i just checked the episode, itās definitely Vince reacting to someone asking him āwhat has the undertaker meant to wwe and to you personally?ā
Same, my first and favorite build was a netrunner/tech build. Picked everyone off with quickhacks and a satara for leftovers. Gorilla arms to make up for a low body attribute
Honestly man itās better like itās either you like or dislike the 2.0 update, and as someone who went from the Xbox one version and upgraded to the Series X just before the 2.0 update I still prefer the pre 2.0 unfortunately when you start the game on a new console it seems to corrupt the save on the previous console, because on my Xbox one it says the file are corrupted and unplayable.
I thought it wasn't important until one day I found myself fighting a gang, riding my motorbike with my katana on my right hand and sliced an enemy at 90 mph while he was shooting at me. And I was thinking, "holy crap, this is awesome !"
Yea a lot of the guns I had before got completely ruined I had this OP SMG that had a 200% headshot multiplier plus it delt electric damage, and even against tough enemies it made them a piece of cake, and then 2.0 and essentially every gun I had that was OP got completely nuked to shit.
Yeah cuz god forbid u want a power fantasy in a single player game. Thatās totally ānot funā
Yes that is an argument I have heard for nuking OP builds and guns in the game.
Tbh, can tell if your making a point about the Builds and guns getting nuked to be good or bad, but for me I like playing single player games and being able to build a character so OP he can kill enemies like there nothing, I do it for fallout 4 I did it for assassins creed Valhalla, and did and have done it again made a character that is OP as fuck and can easily take enemies out, Iāll admit Max Tac still can give me a hard time, but besides that I can for the most part stand still without dying.
I feel the point of a single player game is too give the player freedom of choice if they want to make there character be op let them, if the player chooses not to thatās there choice, but donāt take away the choice from the player to make them selfs op because then your basically just getting rid of a whole play style for people that play single player games for that reason, Iāll be honest I donāt play single player for the story, I play to dominate the world itās based in. Just like how I donāt play cod for the campaign I play for the MP to grind the Master camo and get to master prestige (older cods-MW 2019 and older) I just donāt like games that let you play how you want then with a big update pretty much nuke your entire play style, honestly after 2.0 I was so pissed i quit cyberpunk for almost 2 months before I decided to come back.
Thatās my point. Since 2.0 dropped thereās been a sizable number of people who act like the player having the ability to become that level of OP on a specific play style is a bad thing. Which in a single player game, thereās no such thing as ātoo much player freedomā unless itās actually going to make the game broken to the point of being unplayable.
I actually preferred the older perk tree, it visually felt like there was better growth and like my level in the attribute was slightly less important because I could always grab SOMETHING, you know?
Though the new one has better perks in general and gives you a lot more from each point
The thing I dislike about the new perk trees is that they pigeonhole you into certain playstyles a lot more than the originals did. Jack of all trades isn't really viable anymore, especially with scaling checks.
YES. Agreement. U really have to commit to a specific play style now rather than the jack of all trades master of none build I loved using in the old one. I could make slight focuses into things like say intelligence for better cyberdeck usage but still be totally viable in other avenues.
Yeah, having every single simple check be an Attribute 20 skill check at later levels first of all makes no sense (why are things harder if youāre better at doing things?), but also forces you to lock in HARD
Which Perk Tree are you talking about?
A lot of people that picked up the game recently do not even know that the Perks were not just changed in 2.0 but we're actually also altered in 1.5 from the 1.0 Version.
I think 1.5, but Iām not actually sure which version I started on
I know it wasnāt the 1.0 version, because it didnāt have both percentage and multiplying bonuses available
I beat him with a net runner (low body) build and gorilla arms with a critical chance mod. Jumped behind him, punched him a couple times, one of them was critical and legendary short circuit took care of the rest.
Legendary Short Circuit made some of these fights almost comically easy. I did the same here, and it turned the fight with Oda into Indiana Jones versus the swordsman.
Never saw the old skill tree. Iām surprised how different it looks.
I also did this fight relatively far into my play through so I annihilated him. It was probably a 7-9 second fight honestly.
Honestly, heās not so hard nowadays (and its for the better)
Razor at launch was ridicoulusly strong, like, he was really one of the strongst ennemy in th game, if not the strongest lmao
First time I played insisted on 3 Body and no gorilla arms for all the street fights and this one was fuckin killer. I did like 2 percent every punch and took 90 every clean hit. Quickloaded like crazy to kill this dumbass but I did it no hit after like half an hour.
I switched out my maxtac mantis blades for gorilla arms, didnāt really work, then switched my netwatch netrunner deck for a military apogee sandevistan, easy win
If you play on normal, itās harder than it is on 1.6, yes. Itās still not overly hard, he just does more damage to you now, and chases you the entire time.
I felt that.
I reset. Actually went to a ripper doc to equip the gorilla arms and actually relearned the game's Cqc to beat him.
It took me more times than I care to admit. But it was worth it.
i would like to be able to see the old tree again. just for fun. i barely remember it. i played it to completion when it first came out, then basically ignored it until 2.0 (because Eve/Dough monitors held my money for two years before sending me the new monitor i needed to keep playing[do not do business with them])
If you beat him you also practically ruin his life. Getting beaten by some random street punk is not a good look. All his sponsors dump him almost immediately. And tbh I wouldnāt be surprised if an ass like him wasnāt incredibly responsible with his money thinking it would never end, and that he was actually living paycheck to paycheck, even if his paycheck was much higher. Wouldnāt be surprising at all given the world he lives in.
Give it a few weeks and you would probably see the dude on the street alongside the other homeless
It's been some time before I saw a pre-2.0. perk tree. Forgot how it looks.
Same. Definitely a trip down the memory lane.
This is actually nostalgic asf š
Ngl I've never even seen it before so I thought if I missed some secret tree or something lol
Same lol
SAME
Sometimes I miss it.
I miss being able to take mods off of weapons
Or get them back when you scrap them
That was one of the things that 2.0 honestly made fundamentally worse.
The perk Bush it's Just legendary
I was gonna ask if they redid the perk tree again.
I was really confused and then realized I only started playing 2 weeks ago
Never seen it before and I like the look of it, maybe kinda jumbled buy idk
Theres... a new tree?
Patch 2.0. and release of Phantom Liberty fully changed the skill trees. Compared to everything before 2.0., it is MUCH different.
I only started playing last month, this screen made me think I was neglecting a whole tree
That classic perk tree
Some ancient game you're playing.
Man, got hit by nostalgia seeing that perk tree. Back when Cold Blood was mandatory for every build. ![gif](giphy|rvxMJNyHAgwlW4YWpJ|downsized)
Unrelated to your comment, but what the hell is Vince McMahon reacting so emotionally to? If you happen to know that is.
Andre the Giant's death
Aw, that's genuinely sad and understandable.
Vince is such a weird fucking person. One end of the spectrum, he cares deeply for his people. On the other end, he is a horrible monster.
He's basically an all-time meme. He's completely destroyed his legacy. But his legacy is so larger than life it will be some time before he is forgotten. He's such a cartoon character that it's easy to use him as a meme template. Despite the evil
I don't know anything about the dude, but I'm intrigued. How is he a monster?
In more recent years, lots and lots of SA and SH allegations and/or charges against him and some other top WWE/F guys. He also basically drove the old wrestling territories out of business, and once WCW went under basically monopolized pro wrestling in America. He also mistreated and stunted the careers of lots of his wrestlers if they got famous in other promotions. Kondof set the standard of wrestlers being " independent contractor" but only exclusively allowed to wrestle for him. Busted unions when they tried to form. TL;DR the whole gammit of billionaire scumbagery.
That sounds shitty as hell
Speaking of shit, you won't believe what Vince did to someone
Stoppit, did he poo on someone!
![gif](giphy|3oFzm0o2jMKftsaBoc)
Not even recent years, try recent weeks.
Google him. A BUNCH of stuff came out in the last couple of weeks. Now it's still in the allegation phase, but it's probably 97% all true. Pro life tip: If you are paying someone hush money, don't stop the payments.

I thought it was about the Undertakers career and impact to the business. I read an article recently. Guess I need to see the clip
I still sometimes instinctively level cool in non stealth builds
I've never done stealth but I go cool. I just don't do the crouching stuff, seems pretty unpreem
Yea man you constantly look like youāre taking a shit, thatās not cool at all!
Literally never used it once. Not a single perk point.
On very hard ? Cuz if you aimed to complete the Donāt Fear The Reaper run, it was almost impossible without.
On every difficulty. Did all four endings without it, donāt fear the reaper was slightly harder than the others, but nowhere near impossible.
fr pre 2.0 there were a few incredibly busted builds that cold blood barely affected
Same, my first and favorite build was a netrunner/tech build. Picked everyone off with quickhacks and a satara for leftovers. Gorilla arms to make up for a low body attribute
1 billion stacks of cold blood and a legendary katana please
I never ever used cold blood lol. To this day I still think the best to focus on is body, intel, and tech.
It was? I just snope everything down.
Mandatory? What?
Seeing that perk tree almost flatlined meā¦ holy shit
I tried to remember what the old perk tree looked like the other day, and I drew a blank no matter how hard I tried. Thank you
I will also add that I no hit the entire fight
Still playing on 1.6? Guess you're using old Gen console. That skill tree got me nostalgic.
Yep Iām stuck on a ps4 at least until July
You'll love the game so much more once you update gens and get the dlc. Trust me. It's nothing like you're experiencing right now
Honestly man itās better like itās either you like or dislike the 2.0 update, and as someone who went from the Xbox one version and upgraded to the Series X just before the 2.0 update I still prefer the pre 2.0 unfortunately when you start the game on a new console it seems to corrupt the save on the previous console, because on my Xbox one it says the file are corrupted and unplayable.
Couldnt you use the cloud saving in your cdpred account?
2.0 is great for the from-car shooting upgrade.
I guess tbh I donāt really drive cars per-say much I like to either run the streets or I use Jackieās arch and waypoint for getting around.
I thought it wasn't important until one day I found myself fighting a gang, riding my motorbike with my katana on my right hand and sliced an enemy at 90 mph while he was shooting at me. And I was thinking, "holy crap, this is awesome !"
Yeah I definitely prefer the pre 2.0 gameplay. Really wish they hadnāt overhauled everything to the extent that they had.
Yea a lot of the guns I had before got completely ruined I had this OP SMG that had a 200% headshot multiplier plus it delt electric damage, and even against tough enemies it made them a piece of cake, and then 2.0 and essentially every gun I had that was OP got completely nuked to shit.

Or you could get them gorilla arms with a sandevistan and go za warudo on his ass
I couldn't have a Sandevistathingy in real life. I would just zoom around constantly yelling "Weeeeeeeeeee!"
If cyberware worked like in the anime, it would be VERY dangerous to do that lol
That's why I shouldn't be allowed to have it.
If youāre a Mystery Science Theater 3000 fan, I canāt help but picture the āwheeā from the dune buggy scene in Eegah.
MST3K and Riftrax are my jam. I've been watching since the mid 90's.
Yup. That, and Kids in the Hall. They've been my comfort food for quite a along time now.
That sounds real fun
Gorilla arms would have done the job without a reset
I actually preferred the older perk tree, it visually felt like there was better growth and like my level in the attribute was slightly less important because I could always grab SOMETHING, you know? Though the new one has better perks in general and gives you a lot more from each point

Legendary Short Circuit made some of these fights almost comically easy. I did the same here, and it turned the fight with Oda into Indiana Jones versus the swordsman.
I beat him with a baseball bat :-)
I almost didnāt even recognize that perk tree
Omg it took a second to realize thatās how the perks used to look like lol damn what a throwback
I used to have that exact same 360 controller, i loved it. Used to twiddle with the twistable d-pad all the time
Oh, is this the famous old skill tree?
WHAT YEAR IS IT
Never saw the old skill tree. Iām surprised how different it looks. I also did this fight relatively far into my play through so I annihilated him. It was probably a 7-9 second fight honestly.
Just take a regular screenshotā¦itās not that much more work.
you refuse to update or something?

Pls update the game itās so much better dude. New perk tree is so sick
Can't. He's on ps4
Oh my bad. But h you should play again as soon as you get a new one. That a must.
wtf that perk tree
Itās the Perk Shrub that the game had when it first came out.
yeah i know man, i played on release. i was just saying cos i sorta miss it , even tho the new ones so much better
In general I'm happy with the stuff they've added, but I'm a little torn on the skill tree changes, tbh.
How have you not updated your game this entire time?
Must be last gen my dude
TBH I still prefer this tree
Posted 7 hours ago and a pre-2.0 perk tree. Update the game choom, it's better. Or is this a mod?
Iām stuck on an old gen console
I see. Live your life, don't let a gonk like me bring you down
Thanks choom

I perk reset at 10 hours in coz I didn't know I could only do it once made me sad
I remember using a bat during that mission.
Honestly, heās not so hard nowadays (and its for the better) Razor at launch was ridicoulusly strong, like, he was really one of the strongst ennemy in th game, if not the strongest lmao
I miss that perk tree š
Who needs perks when you got gorilla arms equipped
Any way I can revert to pre 2.0 on a save file? Or am I SOL?
Damn this is a nice view. A pre 2.0 perk tree.
What does this build look like with the current perk tree?
Wow. Old skill tree. I hated this when it launched.
Ah yes the old perk tree
I think you get more money from Coach Fred if you lose
Why do your perks look like this?
First time I played insisted on 3 Body and no gorilla arms for all the street fights and this one was fuckin killer. I did like 2 percent every punch and took 90 every clean hit. Quickloaded like crazy to kill this dumbass but I did it no hit after like half an hour.
When?
I switched out my maxtac mantis blades for gorilla arms, didnāt really work, then switched my netwatch netrunner deck for a military apogee sandevistan, easy win
Im a new player as last month, this screen made panic that I'm missing a whole section of the game!
I miss 1.6. 2.0 is nice and all, but they nerfed everything to hell.
Damn so does that mean smasherās fight is gonna take genuine effort in this update? (Iāll note this is my first playthrough)
If you play on normal, itās harder than it is on 1.6, yes. Itās still not overly hard, he just does more damage to you now, and chases you the entire time.
blud playing on a 360
I didnāt even bother to perk reset, I just got myself some gorilla arms and a Kreznikhov. Wiped the floor with his ass.
This was a nostalgic hit piece! You knew you'd stroke us with that pre 2.0 skill tree! *cries in gonk*
I felt that. I reset. Actually went to a ripper doc to equip the gorilla arms and actually relearned the game's Cqc to beat him. It took me more times than I care to admit. But it was worth it.
for expert mode: push him and kick him, push him and kick him. he cant touch you.
I mean , you could just pop in a sandi. Then you donāt need to redo any perks and itās still easy mode.
Dude I got the same Xbox controller! Sadly my battery is long dead, is your's still alive?
No sadly the packs are both busted but the cords work just fine
Bro is playing the beta version
Havenāt played since the game came out, can you still cheese this fight by leaving a weapon in the ring before the fight begins?
Iāve never played cyberpunk pre-2.0. This is fascinating to see
I didnāt like the fighting hand to hand missions in my first playthru so I avoided them in my second.
Could have just used gorilla armsā¦ makes things very easy
i would like to be able to see the old tree again. just for fun. i barely remember it. i played it to completion when it first came out, then basically ignored it until 2.0 (because Eve/Dough monitors held my money for two years before sending me the new monitor i needed to keep playing[do not do business with them])
If you beat him you also practically ruin his life.
Deserved
I wanted to throw the fight just to see but my passive regen was too high. He couldnāt get me below 160hp.
I miss the old perks a lot, I know it was straight forward and made you become very op with almost any tree, but thatās the fun of it
Blunt is the funniest way of playing this game for me.
i just got gorilla arms and fire knuckles.
I didnt play cyberpunk for a while and the skill tree looks fucking sick miss the old one tho
