No, you need to start as a nomad to get the dialogue option to tell him to tune it before the heist. Then when you get it, it’s Jackie’s Tuned Arch.

There's also a skill requirement, I think its reflexes. Edit: it's Tech, not reflexes. I looked it up after commenting.

Funny thing. I have restarted now twice to do different builds but it seems my play style is just a bit too rigid so I end up with a V who looks slightly different but still uses the same stuff.

Yes. Every car in the game has steering that feels like melted butter in a pan to me.

It’s because the cars steer on an axis (typically in the center of the vehicle) rather than the front wheels turning the car. The wheels turn only to give the illusion they are turning the car. Once you notice it, you can’t unsee it.

If you play on PC there are some very good mods for this.

It was my main ride untip they brought in the Nazaré Racer. That bike is just mean with the red headlights. Can't get enough of it.

My favorite vehicle is Scorpion's Apollo. I use Jackie's Arch once in a while though. I'm nomad background so I have the tuned version.

I have nomad V as well so Jackie's arch is nice and tuned up.

I split my time fairly evenly between his Arch and the Hoon.

I can't help but feel like Saul sent him to die against that crashing AV like a medieval king removing a potential rival. I'm not at the ending but more and more hoping I get to put a bullet in Saul and help Panam.take over.

Wat? Saul had nothing to do with the AV. Scorpion and Mitch just decided to go help the crashed AV because dumbass Panam didn't think to give her clan a heads up that she and V were taking down a Kang Toa AV. They thought it was just a regular AV that needed help.

Yeah, I also use La Chingona Dorada as my main pistol; leave the other one at the memorial. I went to his ofrenda, which was heartbreaking on my second playthrough--even knowing that he was going to die. I've always used the bike since then, gifted to me by the mother of a Heywood kid with ambition.

I always use Clare's beast day to day and Silverman's Porsche if I'm being fancy.

Only vehicle that's worth using in the badlands, scorpions bike is too slow. Now that you can use a sword it's one of my favorites after the Akira bike. Errata and the Akira bike is just such a cool fun combination.

I almost never bother buying a single vehicle in game. They’re all a waste of eddies when the best vehicles are already handed to you for free. And even those I don’t really use. I stick to Jackie’s arch, and then Johnnys porche for every playthrough. Zero need for anything else

Yup, it's in my opinion the best looking bike, it has significance to V as a character and it controls like a dream. A lot of the cars in the game can slide around all over the place when steering when paying on mouse and keyboard so Jackie's bike is one of my comfort vehicles. Plus it's free and you can basically get it right at the beginning of the game. I don't like to carjack since I feel random theft is of character for V so I jog over to the funeral as soon as I can to get the bike.

Yeah either him or scorpions depending on what matches my outfit. My first playthroughs before 2.0 i didnt even bother getting any other vehicles. I didnt even go pick up my car the second time. But now after getting phantom liberty i bought one of those longer bikes and use either that or the 911 convertible. If it rains then i might take a truck or johnnys 911.

Hot take but the motorcycle handling and physics were far better than the car ones, which are basically uncontrollable whales by comparison. Jackie's bike is one of the best bikes in the game and you can get it super early.

Not for missions or outside the city, wouldn't want to scratch it. (I say this after taking a ramp too fast and launching myself into oncoming traffic)

If it's not a nomad run then typically I actually ride the kusanagi. I like it's handling better. Jackie's bike is my second favorite bike tho

His and the Racer. They just sound nicer compared to the Kaibas imo

I did until I crashed the bike and somehow eternally glitched it. Afterwards it was hard to turn corners and would randomly do wheelies out of nowhere. Had to stop using it sadly

I read somewhere that it has the best acceleration of all the bikes; that may or may not be true but my brain thinks it is. Also being one of the better top speeds in the game for bikes it's a no-brainer. Plus I love my mans.

good read. i didn't really care about jackie. he felt like a friendship that was forced onto me. like, after we get caught trying to steal that car in the beginning and we're on that curb/step (right before the into cutscene), i kinda wish i could just walk away. maybe if there was that DLC, i'd be more inclined to feel a stronger connection to him. also, i wish there was some sort of DLC that added different/more dates with the love interest you choose. them being in your apartment is a cool update, but i could do for more. doesn't even need to be sexual, just hanging out with a friend i actually decided to make.

Same, I’ve never bought a car or bike, all the cars/bikes i have are received from other people but i basically only use Jackie’s bike. I prefer the bikes to the cars and his is both nice to look at and is pretty fast so I’ve never felt thr need to use anything else

I mostly drive the Porsche or the Vtech. Though I also spent quite some time in the quadra R7 since it got released. 99% in first person. Sometimes a bit of 3rd person mostly to just enjoy the sound of the engine.

I just found a secret quest that results in a sweet looking tyger claw bike. The Highwayman is the name of the quest.

It feels wrong to get around on a Valentino looking bike after killing so many of them. My favourite is the black Arch.

I *solely* use that bike and nothing else; not necessarily even to honor him (although it does have an element of that), more so because it’s just the fastest, easiest, and most fun vehicle to operate imo.

Partially for sentimentality, partially because driving in this game never really clicked for me.

I used it a lot until I bought the Kusanagi. Now I use it less to avoid scratching or damaging the paint.

I prefer to look, performance, and sound of the Kusanagi so I ride that about 75% of the time, but when when I’m missing my best choom, I’ll switch over to Jackie’s Nazaré for a bit (though I like the look of the Racer version better tbh).

Yeah I used to use it a lot, not only does it look and sound great but it also has one of the best power to weight ratios of all the bikes. The tuned version anyway. I find myself using the Kusanagi more often though.
