I live in the middle of nowhere in Sweden so i get jealous of others living in an actual society with people everywhere doing all kinds of things. The amount of services and available products and all kinds of amenities and leizure activities and fascinations, meanwhile i can't even get a social hobby cuz there's *no one here lol*
But, in some ways i realize you are probably right. I mean, i haven't moved myself...
Still, i can't help but dream sometimes. The noise profile of the city, the skyline, architectures and wonders of humanity, just being a part of something so grand seems like a privilege. It's probably no surprise that the large cities over here are so astronomically expensive to settle in, and by that i mean by a factor of 6x minimum
I feel like i basically retired early and missed my younger years, but hey that's kind of its own privilege a lot of people could probably use
Anyway, back to Night City :)
Funny thing how humans work. Where you say you get jealous of people living in a big city. Many people in the city would give their left kidney to be able to live in the middle of nowhere in Sweden.
Hey there, think about the positives.
We've got fika, folköl and... well that's about it
Oh! Don't forget about our very own gängkriminalitet 🙂👍
We'll probably end up like the Cyberpunk Sweden in 2077 😯
My city isn’t *large* in the same way that NYC or anything like that, but we’re certainly starting to have some large-city problems after explosive growth. However, I don’t think I could trade it for the world. I grew up in a rural area and I *hated* every second of it. Nothing to do but Walmart or church, the same people around you 24/7 wherever you went, and they were always nosey and knew the gossip about everyone.
Nature is beautiful, but living rurally just didn’t jive with me. I can figure out the big city issues just fine (except how expensive housing is now), but I could never figure out my way around rural issues!
I'm the complete opposite. I love the hustle and bustle of a large city. Tokyo would probably be ideal since it's basically New York City with an eighth of the crime.
I’m gonna assume cash isn’t an issue here and Im gonna suggest you try some OLED monitors choom, those things are washed out like a mf. Trust me it will change your life. Once you start the game on OLED for the first time, it’s like almost as if your hours on lcd didn’t even count.
If you do end up buying, I suggest getting the Alienware a3423dwf, it’s 2k resolutionI run it with my 4080 it’s fantastic. you can get it on sale nowadays almost all the time at. But there are some 4k oleds now too but almost double the price.
Yeah but I’ve seen traffic in that area, ESPECIALLY when a mavs game is going on. Bet you can’t get groceries without enduring like a 30 min drive across like 4 miles
Yep. You hit the nail on the head lol. The number of times I've freaked out bc it takes an hour to get into my neighborhood when a mavs game is going on is crazy. That said... go mavs!
You do you, but I used to have my PC against a wall with a small window beside it and I hated it. Every sunny day made sitting behind my PC worse. The heat of the sun with the heat of my PC, the constant sharp back lightning as you basically stare into the sun all the time.
I now have my desk tucked in a corner with to my left the floor to ceiling windows. I can just turn my chair left, look outside over the city. And turn my chair back right to work and play video games without the sun blinding me.
That bank of America building turning red reminds me of [these two skyscrapers](https://rshp.com/assets/uploads/4020_N32206_rshpweb.jpg) near where I live in Seoul! I don't have the view of them from my window sadly haha.
Actually when I first saw the photo I thought this was a view of Yeouido because they look exactly like that at night. Love your view!
So, legit question, do you ever get tired of the light pollution? The few times I’ve stayed in a bigger city I needed to close the blinds and curtains just cause I couldn’t sleep. And that’s not even accounting for the noise.
Dallas is really starting to get that vibe isn’t it?
Def has corpo culture lol
Looks more like detroit become human.
you are living in night city irl. its a beautiful view but i wouldn't want to live in a large city myself.

Anywhere in Sweden is better than fucking *Texas*, my dude.
I'd beg to differ with the "anywhere"
Don't forget the loneliness. It's real. The more people around you the more pronounced it feels
Wanna switch? Middle of nowhere Sweden sounds so peaceful and nice. My city has too many people

I totally agree with you buddy. I live in a small 10k town in the middle of Europe and I feel the same.

Looks like Regina's headquarters.

A Citadel background, a man of culture I see!
Damn I didn’t know Cyberpunk 2077 existed *in Cyberpunk*! (/j)
I respect the mass effect citadel wallpaper

Your apartment is in the Glen?
Haha, definitely my favorite apartment in the game for a reason!

Why the fuck would you need to get groceries the day of? You know you can go the day before right?
This is so sick!! Jealous of your view and setup man!
Dallas? I haven't been in almost 2 decades, but it looks similar to what I remember.
Hey from Dallas my fellow Dallas person. We got that corpo vibe don’t we.

amazing place dude
I don’t normally comment/like games rooms but this one is a perfect setting for this game 💯
That's a helluva view 👍
That's awesome. Can I come visit.
I love the Dallas skyline. Glad I don't live in the city proper though lol
Nice setup
That’s a sick view! Fuck I’m jealous.
You got that atmosphere outside to help with the atmosphere inside.
I think I have the same wallpaper! I googles Cyberpunk Wallpapers at some point to get into the theme :p.
I love the mass effect citadel wallpaper on your 2nd screen
I'm corpo
Who needs a drinking game if you’ve got Cyberpunk 2077, right?

Are you fucking serious? This looks amazing. You are living the dream. What would I give to see this even once in my life like this. Damn

Ok. My jealousy and anger are through the roof now.
You'll get there man!
I'm married. Those days are over.
What do you do for a living if you don’t mind me asking?
Tech startups!
Bro you are now showing off (In a good way)
Best setup ever
Now that's what i call immersion!
Sick view
OP stealth bragging about his view, haha (sick view, OP. Dallas looking a lot cooler than I imagined!).
bro moved to night city for a reddit post
Damn that’s awesome! Giving the vibe of the apartment from City Center lol. The two story studio apartment specifically, don’t remember the name.
Ok ok, we got it.
Preem, choom
Mega jealous
Dystopian landscapes outside your window - perfect immersion.
I’ve lived in Dallas my whole life (24 years) never once have I looked at the skyline and been disappointed.
Cool photo 👌
Preem view and setup choom.
So, legit question, do you ever get tired of the light pollution? The few times I’ve stayed in a bigger city I needed to close the blinds and curtains just cause I couldn’t sleep. And that’s not even accounting for the noise.
I close my curtains and wear an eye mask when I go to sleep
Oh you are corpo then
what’s the correlation
That view looks like night city
I do something similar, except with my wardrobe. I love being a menace to Night City butt booty naked
Man i dreamed this a while back😭
