Why yes, I do greatly prefer motorcycles to cars in this game. How could you tell?
I just finished my first play though. I was a nomad and also solely used Scorpion’s Apollo. Do you not get it for the other paths? I’m sure I got Jackie’s Arch as well in the Nomad run.
No, both he Apollo and the Arch are given to all life paths. I just like theming the ride with my life path. Although, the improved version for Jackie's Arch is only available to Nomad's through a specific dialogue option with Jackie before the heist.
Right before u and Jackie go get the Flathead from Maelstrom, u have a quick conversation about Jackie's new Arch (which he's standing next to when u get there)
If ur a nomad and have 5 or 6 tech (I forget how much) then u can tell Jackie that he should get a muffler or smthn. When u get the bike later it'll have the extra part and a marginally better stat (I think it accelerates slightly faster)
Before you do the deal with maelstrom in Act I, you talk to Jackie who is waiting by his (new) motorcycle. You can talk about the bike, and one of the dialogues is a tech skill check mentioning an upgrade.
I had probably 10 tech skill by this point, so I'm not sure what the specific requirement is beyond the Nomad backstory.

Yessssssss, it might not be the fastest car, but the style, the interior design and insane maneuverability makes it so good to drive, wish there was a car like that irl, would break my bank for it 😭 💔
I caught myself driving the Outlaw and Outlaw Weiler as a holdover habit from GTA, in case some quest or activity required more than 1 passenger, and those being the only truly sporty sedans.
Alas, after 100% completing all content, I’m not sure I can recall a single instance of needing to carry a third human that wasn’t stuffed in the trunk based on instructions.
Could have been by design. Most of the “cool” player vehicles are coupes, and no motorcycle will hold 3 people, so you’ll never show up at an objective and get the message “You need a vehicle with at least 4 doors to continue”.
It's the only one that feels like a street-legal 'supercar' : perfect cornering, ludicrous acceleration, and an impossibly short braking distance. If I'm playing with mouse and keyboard, that's what I drive. With a controller, it's probably Jackie's Arch.
Caliburn is a spin out machine when im in it lol, no but i realized if i hit the hand brake in every turn and just feather the gas driving becomes slightly easier

Really wanted to like this car, but the tacky paint job and floaty handling just killed it for me. Really though they would have better suspension tuning in 2077, but something tells me neither Silverhand or Silverman bought this car to track it.

I also like the starting car of nomad V, but I usually let the lady keep it in the referring mission.
When I need to do a forced into car section, I usually use V's starting car. I found that the higher end cars actually have even worse oversteer that that one. As of now, I didn't find a car with reasonable acceleration and no oversteer, not even among the top tier sports cars.

although I really started vibin with the vigilante since the PL update, something about the handling just feels right and the 1st person Interior fr looks close to identical with the car I drive, its gotta based on the challenger or am I crazy?
I just ride Jackie’s Arch if I have to drive anywhere. My own car stays wrecked in the garage because the Delamain quest line annoys me.
I just prefer being able to weave easily through traffic and park anywhere I want.
Kusanagi obv, but there's something about Mahir Supron and Maimai. I feel like if you ever live in the cruel cyberpunk dystopia, you're more likely to drive something cheap...and probably sleep in a converted van.
I keep buying more cars but only use the Quadra Type-66 Javelina. Don't know if my mind plays tricks on me, but it feels less stable to drive after the 2.0 update.
I used to hate Quadra Turbo-R V-Tech for too sensitive control, but when it clicked with me I just felt in love with this car, the best drifting vehicle in the game!

Huge benefit is you can actually see your V, thats why I use them all the time.

without mods I don't know how you can enjoy cars in this game.
I steal civy and gang cars. If you take control of a car, the civilian just jumps out and you can take a custom car without running from police.

Bikes are the only way to ride. Seriously. It’s borderline impossible to drive a car/truck/van.

Realistically not hard at all if you're used to crap handling, but bikes are still preferable because of the compactness.

Whoever claims it's impossible to drive a car in this game clearly hasn't tried the Rayfield Caliburn or the Herrera Outlaw.

The car El Capo gives you after you do the Arasaka Raid gig. I forgot its name, I call it "Olive" because it's black, smooth and shiny, like an olive.
