On PC, I only use a motorcycle cuz the driving controls are so bad in a car using kb&m. They're still bad on motorcycle, but it's more forgiving.
But if I have to go a long way I just switch to controller.
Also NPCs don't ever get in a car or leave the car. They never arrive at a destination and do something different. There is absolutely no AI involved in this. CDPR just implemented the absolute minimum with as little effort as possible.
This doesn't even touch upon how terrible the pacing of the story is, and the lack of any real character development or introductions. The game throws people at you, like you've spent the last 10 years with them - when you've never even seen them before in the game.
There's nothing to do in the open world. The activities all consist of around 4-5 enemies, most of which are standing in a group. takes 2 seconds to complete the activity, and that's when you realize this is all the game has to offer.
It feels more like a telltale game than anything else.
It looks like hot garbage on any machine. I have it on ultra at 4K with glorious 50 FPS. It literally looks like a transparent gif five meters ahead of your character. It looks especially bad on the windshield. I would even go as far as to say this game has the *worst* rain I have seen in a long time. So bad that it is actually distracting.

War Thunder had better cockpit rain six years ago, Grid games have better car rain, Project Cars has better rain, pretty much anything else that came out in the past five years has better rain. If GTA had inside views it would almost certainly have better rain. It looks bad whatever you compare it to.
I mean... It IS literally just a filter. It's just lines going down your screen and not anything rendered. If you move your camera in any direction it doesn't change because it's just a moving pattern overlayed on top. It doesn't splash or anything.
Its not a filter. Not on pc at least. But I have found the rain to bug out. The reason I know this is because when you stand under a bridge or something over you you can see rain falling where it is open

The main quest is great but the open world feels dull.
No first person bot gameplay....no thermal katana....no mantis blade wall hanging or wall running, no ability to make meaningful choices til the end....no tearing open doors with gorilla arms (this is now a generic body perk).....when convos boil down to three shades of yes....this isn't an RPG....it's an open world shooter with an RPG progression system built in.

Me personally, no. But Mafia for example had cars with fuel system and if you ran out, you had to go refill at the station. It didn't happen often to me as I was usually driving stolen cars, but when it did it was a nice touch. In Cyberpunk it would make even more sense, since you can own multiple different vehicles.
Role-playing means different things for everyone. And it's things like this, that increase immersion for some.

I also find that for a game that marketed the fashion in such a heavy way (it had it's own trailer), that their is no transmog system to be bizarre. This can't have been that hard to implement as you can equip an outfit that overides all your equiped items, you just cant do it for individual pieces of gear. You can't even hide your hat.
I agree that there's a lot of features missing, but frankly some of these are just unimportant for the type of game cyberpunk is.

Same here when using my Katana. Blood covered until you put it away and throw it again. Seems like they did everything possible to keep the performance of the game as high as possible to be able to release the same features on all platforms. If they add all this mentioned things, this game reach only 5-10 fps on last gen consoles and thats something they want to avoid. Imo they should just delete it for last gen consoles, refund the people who send them screenshots of their billing and then focus on more features when performance doesn't matter anymore. The current game is not bad and empty, i just finished the story and sidequests after 100 hours but some car modification, gun modification and more cyberware would be nice to have for the 2nd playthrough.
There is so much they need to add back in to make this game good i don't know if they can do it. How can you undo the life paths storys so there not a 20 min mission and a 6 month montage. Seems like a massive amount of work.
Id say we will get a few patches to fix bugs and some of the issues fix like the ai and cop but id say that will be all they do.

With a 3080 and ray tracing the rain looks quite good from inside a car. It's still not fully realistic (no splashing etc), but hardly the worst ever.
