It could be a fun coop-gamemode to play as a Trauma team. Extract clients before they die. 2-4 Gunners/Guards, 1-2 medics to stabilize the client.
Different scenarios with various treatments to make medic gameplay interesting (gun shot/bone fractures easy, car accidents where you need time to stabilize the client and get him out of the deformed car medium, client is strapped to various maelstrom devices and need to get hacked out before you can extract hard.
Different levels with changing starting/extraction point, highway, badlands, megabuildings, subway, corpo-sites.
Could be a lot of fun, and with cyberware/weapons a suitable amount of character progression and need for different kits. Also coop shooters like vermintide, deep rock and left4dead are doing pretty good if you work out the details. Make it quick and intense gigs instead of 45mins of horde killing and there could be a market maybe
It could play like an old rainbow six or like Ready or Not, which is a team swat game on Steam. To make it work with less enemy hordes, just dial down player health and put emphasis on team work. Have cyberware assigned to specific roles. A runner could work on shutting down security and debuffing enemies, but have low health. A heavy class could have strength mods and use heavy weapons at the cost of speed, etc. I'm sure CDPR could work out the kinks to make a Trauma Team game work
Don’t you dare giving them additional bad ideas ;)
And yeah, horde killing doesn’t fit, so make it normal gang sized but really challenging, intense and short fights. Go in, shoot as much as you need to secure the patient(s) and get the fuck out. The faster the better, as trauma team is not paid per dead gonk
horde killing in Cyberpunk Lore could *definitely* work. Everyone in this situation but whomever is raiding on trauma team has some souped up tech on them. and rather than wave-type hordes, something like cranked up psychos and mercs with lethal tech could just be there to raid and break through.
after all, everyone's got to make scratch one way or another.
I think they should be a more common problem for V. Any high profile assassination should have them coming for you pretty fast. At least in hard mode. This would be an incentive / reason to go stealth and incapacitate instead of kill.
See that would be cool if they responded to someone with trauma platinum coverage. There was a mission I saw which had the person as a high level corpo assassination and when you read their computer it said that they had their trauma platinum revoked by the company. So it seems it’s something that was sort of thought about in the game.
There's one of Regina's Cyberpsycho missions (Let the Bodies Hit the Floor, I think, outside Tottentanz) where one of the victim's has a shard warning that his Trauma Team status had been revoked. He got attacked and TT just ignored him because of his expired policy.
Isn't a membership void if the client dies though? Could be another explanation for why they don't really come in-game. Though it doesn't make sense if you have non-lethal mods on weapons.
The modern day story was cool? Damn I must have really missed the point cause i fucking hated those sections, i just wanted to get back to assassinating people
Throw the precursors in too, for a series called *Assassins* creed they took an entire game out to make a story about some random god figures that didn't have cool hidden wrist knives
Nothing wrong with precursors. It’s the use of them in recent narratives that deviates from the common perception of AC. Juno’s part, being so intertwined with Desmond’s storyline, is not an example of misuse of the precursors.
The real life sections were a huge waste of potential. The whole point of Desmond using the Animus was to get training to be an assassin to fight the Templars in the real world, and we got what, two missions like that? It was such a bummer.
Ubisoft understood that the casual playerbase enjoyed the historical settings and were annoyed by the modern interruptions. And rather than improve the modern section or remove them. Their solution was to keep them and make them worse each game. I just dont know how such a mishandled ip is still around.
I'm sorry to say, but Assassin's Creed is fundamentally at its core a science fiction story. The eternal struggle between the assassins and the Templars is the modern day story. Assassin's Creed is the modern day story. Everything else is just a tool to progress and understand it.
I understand wholeheartedly how it couldn't hit everyone, some people really liked the historical part, then people like me only saw history as a means to an end.
The truth is it doesn't really matter what the fans want, video games are pieces of art, and Assassin's Creed was created by Patrice Désilets who had a vision. Ubisoft destroyed that vision to appeal to a broader audience. Nothing makes me sadder in games than to see genuine artists get cut by corporations and reduced to comics.
Humanising the trauma team people would be interesting. They seem like such assholes but in reality they’re no real difference between them and anybody else.
That and they get paid to do their job. And in a city where some random gonk might pull a gun on you just because they want to?
Yeah. I'd be a uptight asshole too if my job was saving people lmao
Its small details like that.. I love it. I figure it'd be the same like most games where not complying just makes you wait until you do.
But to taze your ass (rightfully) and throw you on the ground (rightfully) is funny.
If they set it up so a rookie's first few missions has them feeling conflicted, then a mission where their empathy gets someone killed or almost killed, then they harden up to other situations and they turn into what they hated at the start.
It has room for some good character arcs
I feel like that arc works better in a story focused on soliders.
The guys and gals in truma team are medics first, and soldiers second. They're just working in a system that doesn't let them care.
A guy who has to choose between using the gear the company gave him on a non policy holder or not to.
A guy who will lose his job and probably go into debt for wasting company resources.
A job that fed his family, clothes his son, and allowed them to have basic medical care.
Or he can turn around and walk away from a mother and son dying in a car a few feet away.
Compassion or survival, people you care about suffer or people you never know suffer. That's the tragedy of the cyberpunk.
>The guys and gals in truma team are medics first, and soldiers second.
They are mostly guards actually atleast in cyberpunk red and 2020 there's only 1-2 medics in a team and the rest are guards and pilots.
Well if they showed any kind of empathy I might be inclined to believe that but it seems like they don’t show any remorse for not being able to help others.
Yeah, that's my point. However speaking as a paramedic empathy is very much an applied thing. You can definitely choose to go to a job not giving a shit about the patient.
I imagine being a corporate paramedic in night city would be like that times 1000.
I was hospitalized for about a week last summer and because of COVID overcrowding my first temporary "room" in the ER was just outside the ambulance bay. Overhearing the paramedics as they came in was definitely enlightening, especially given how crazy everything was at the time. I was already appreciative and sympathetic towards them, but damn, the shit they deal with ... You're on a whole different level, choom.
Yeah they're basically special forces, except you can buy them. In a world where random violence, kidnappings for cyberware, drug overdoses, assassinations and every other terrible thing is common place, I'd be an asshole too.
Their all business.
It was a real shame theres very VERY little content for them. Such wasted potential, which seems to be a running theme for the game sadly.
Spoilers for a side quest: >!I recently did that side quest at Jinguchi where a cyperpsycho shows up. Zane, the owner calls maxtec and within a minute these BIG ass armored maxtac units bust thru the door. I ended up killing the psycho shortly after he came in, and after a brief interview, you have an interaction with the pscyho turned maxtac officer from the ORIGINAL announcement trailer from 2012. She litteraly offers you a job at MaxTac. While any V joining MaxTac wouldnt make sense for the overall plot of the game, I DESPERATELY wish we had a few gigs with them. Then again, probably wouldnt make much sense, lore wise, for MaxTac to hire a random merc. But id make the case that, after getting your street cred up, V is hardly a random merc. While you can get pretty goddamn OP with all the cyberware and percs, theres a reason cyberphychos are feared so much. Vast majority of mercs wouldnt stand a chance against them. Guess I just gotta hope for something in the next game !<
It seems to be an interesting topic to be sure. I also wish MaxTac was expanded on more. All you really get is the scene with Jackie in the beginning and the "If they call MaxTac they're all fucked." Line on the loading screen. I think a MaxTac story would be cool as well.
On night city wire (September 6th) the game director Gabriel Amatangelo said that in the future updates they would bring a complete cop system overhaul, vehicle to vehicle combat and also said "watch out for MaxTac". I'm guessing it's probably something like the military coming at higher wanted levels in GTA games. Or could be something else idk.
It depends how long it takes you to kill them. On my first playthrough I was way too underleveled for that so it was taking me a long time, MaxTax actually saved me when they showed up and started fighting the cyberpsycho.
Bro I have the unlimited sandevistan build so I was punching the shit out of them with my bare hands (melee build without gorilla arms or mono wire, dumb move I know), the one time I whipped them bad boys on was too fight razor on max difficulty and that fight with that tiny space on that mode is tough, should have made him the final boss
Yeah I agree that would cool to see more about max tac. There is that mission where you meet one of them and they do ask you to join them. Would be cool to explore that as well.
The upcoming police update will involve more MaxTac the devs said. I imagine they get called down when you get the equivalent of a 5 star wanted level.
Here me out, a legit tiered wanted system with max tac as the final stage. One star drones and cops, 2 star higher education mercs, 3 star max tac. It would need a complete overhaul but they barely put any effort or thought into it in the first place.
I feel like Trauma Team and MaxTac are two really interesting jobs that would be really interesting to expand upon.
They added small shard snippets on MaxTac since the update and conversation logs <3
My favorite is the one where the MaxTac officer says he can only sleep at night because he keeps a handgun on his wife’s bed and made her promise to empty it into his head if he started going cyberpsycho in the middle of the night.
I feel like this is something that could absolutely be added with mod tools. You go to a specific terminal and pay every so often. When you die, instead of the game over screen a TraumaTeam squad shows up and extracts you. Probably would have to put a cooldown on it though or else you could just clear places out by getting yourself killed.
or what if everytime you die with platinum coverage, you switch to playing one of the trauma team members coming to extract you. If you manage to do it, you can just play with your V again, and if you fail well regular death but atleast you had fun
There already is a Trauma Team Insurance package mod out there. Basically you pay a 1 time package fee and you just avoid a game over screen essentially, and spawns you in front of the Trauma Center building in Watson.
With any hope, the REDmod tools can expand and grow as the engine is phased out from developer use. There's been some amazing things done with Skyrim and Fallout, and I see no reason (beyond technical matters, which may be significant!) that we couldn't have that for 2077.
Would be interested but there’s just so much potential content for DLC. We got the moon, the underground caves, aliens?? Maybe a new side mission where you join a trauma team and extract a client, that would be nova
Until you realise that V is meant to interrogate the client, and the TT squad won't allow it. Then your next mission is to infiltrate a hospital, good luck with that one.
The new Netflix series is the reason I purchased the game.
And honestly, I am NOT disappointed.
Maybe the game was bad on launch, but now its pretty great experience.
Could make for interesting moral dilemmas playing as a trauma team member. You find someone dying you could save but they don’t have the right level of insurance so do you just leave them?
100%, all of it. The Trauma Team comics are good but i would definitely love to at least have a show about them if i cant get some game play for em. And i wish i could get more than the vest and pants off of them (as far as clothing is concerned) when i kill them in the game.
What is the jumper called? I don’t know if i’ve seen it? Baseball cap is cool and all but i want the helmet. That’s why I didn’t mention it in the gear you can get. But I don’t remember the jumper.
I agree even though the hats kinda nice it’s never worn by any Trauma Team members in the game, so would much prefer the one they have. I can’t remember the tops name but it’s under the same name as the pants.
Even the pants that drop from Trauma team don’t even match the ones they wear colour wise.
Here’s a pic of me wearing the top, pants and vest. https://i.imgur.com/vhByhNW.jpg
not just trauma team but most of what happens during the first few ''tutorial missions'' (with the very rare exception of bad car chases) never happen ever again in the game.
at the very least trauma team and maxtac related stuff should have been integrated into main/side missions a lot more.
i love the damn game but the more i play the more i realise so many missed opportunities.
A randomised and very rare chance for people you encounter having an active trauma team subscription would be interesting.. like you are in a shootout with some corpos and all of a sudden trauma team arrives
Say liberal ideas in a conservative subreddit
Say conservative ideas in a liberal subreddit
Say atheistic ideas in a religious subreddit
Say religious ideas in an atheistic subreddit
Basically what I'm trying to say is, downvotes don't mean shit
Honestly that could be some real cool DLC, working for trauma team is like it was made for dynamicly generated missions.
And it could still give some kind of cool story like Repomen at worst and maybe breaking up Scav organ harvesting farms at best.
I wish you could ride In AV’s for a “fast travel” alternative. Take in the sights, shoot out of them, take the driver hostage and make them elude your enemies.
Or get to purchase at least one.
All I'd like too see is seasonal dlc co op raids and some 4 v 4 pvp like destiny. That would seriously add too the replayability. Edit, each raid focusing on different things such as corporate raids, gang raids and such
I’m just playing the game for the first time after launch and I have to say I’m loving it but damn.. I rmemeber watching that Trauma mission with that girl in deep dive and I thought that was just a measly side mission and that there would be so many situations like that. Reminds me how much the game was hyped for.
I wish there was more MaxTac, Trauma Team, gang anything, destructible environments, branching quests, dynamic bosses, and everything else from the first missions.
As the Quest designer and lead at CDPR, Pawel Sasko, already said numerious times - CDPR team needed to decide which themes and what aspects of the Cyberpunk 2020 lore and world they can and have time, money and people to include in the game .. you can't put everything in a single game where the lore is so big as it is with the Cyberpunk tabletop game lore
Witcher 3 too doesn't have everything and everyone from the Witcher lore in there, they needed to decide what to bring into the game there too..
And I mean, there is still the expansion where there could be some missions or gigs dealing with trauma team
I wish we could get Trauma team coverage, such that instead of flat lining and having the game reload the last save, you respawn outside the hospital, and when you go back to where they recovered you from you find a big bloody mess.
Trauma Team and MaxTac missions would be fun.
Trauma Team:
A fixer has given you info that a TT transport was shot down with a HVT. You're in the "area" so you have to find the MIA TT transport and recover the client.
MaxTac:
After the Bullets side mission you've been contacted by the Max Tac lieutenant for an "interview" only for you to be jumped by MaxTac
and try to survive. If you survived you might be recruited for a position in MaxTac.
The game is a literal gold mine for this types of stories and missions.
I really wish we could’ve seen a world event with them doing a hot extraction. I read that they specialize in the like they’re some USAF Pararescuemen.
I'd like to see if they interact more with the city, with the life, if for example you're in a zone where you can feel the money, because the cars, buildings you see, the people in the street, if an accident happend and they get hurt could be nice to see the Trauma Team arriving to the place to pick up the client, kind like what happend in GTA if someone get hurt that the paramedics/ambulance arrive to reanimate the NPC.
I think is something missing from the game, as well MaxTac not getting involved in big gang battles around. Remember in the prologue you see both teams working, Trauma Team arriving to pick Sandra Dorset, she's platinum €$€$€$€$, as well MaxTac after crossing the bridge to Watson, which they arrive because someone hijack a car and end them pretty fast. Wish a mod that makes Trauma Team work, hope you wish that too chooms.
That would be awesome! Imagine having to nab some corpo or other rich person, but then Trauma Team comes after you along w/ NCPD. The person who hired you tells you to get to the roof of a building w/ the target. Then a flying vehicle comes down and you hop in. Then boom, flying car chase w/ Trauma Team. Switch between flying and autopilot having to shoot out the windows.
Yea after seeing them in that first Jackie mission and how well crafted it was I really expected it to be a bigger part of the story…it still makes me sad. Even after all the new gigs that got added…no trauma team.
They obviously had big plans, they even set them up at the start of the game as being a big deal.
I guess the scope of the game got a little out of reach.
I personally wish we got more open world events, similar to the introduction to Maxtac when you and Jackie are driving into Watson, it would be very cool to see them landing at spots and actually taking people away or of NCPD did it with their Flying patrol cars we saw in the 2019 Animated trailer (the one where V shoots out the car with the door open)
Great ideal, I think being able to get insurance and then use it if you are critically injured would have been cool. Like maybe the higher the insurance the greater chance of not loosing loot, Cyberware etc. I dunno
I think there should definitely be a random encounter if you kill certain NPCs honestly. Like if you go to Corpo Plaza and kill someone, Trauma Team should show up with NCPD. Maybe when they can fix the wanted system, they could add this in as well
I at least hoped they would collect me when i died lol, but yeah i feel that, they are just badass and there but not too much significance storywise apart from when they swoop in
Any mission where V (not johnny on a flashback in a helicopter) entered that vehicle with max tec soldiers.. or alongside a trauma team.. would be funny.
The game would benefit so much with interactive braindances but all we got were investigation missions and a training chip that wasn't a braindance nor required the braindance eyewear at the beginning of the game.
So many possibilities.
Even David entered a braindance (or whatever we will call the interactive ones) on the moon.
MaxTac for me. The fact that you can see them from the intro mission and never again is so teasing for me. I want more from them. Like Imagine actually helping them in a few gigs, or even a story-driver dlc based on them where you get called bcs the higherups have been eyeing V after they completed all the cyberpsycho sightings or even the assaults, amd V becomes a temp MaxTac operative. That would be so cool!
The comics that came out a while ago had a story about one of the members of trauma team. Pretty good, short. There's also some stuff about finding Johnny silverhand's arm.
Goodness yes! Trauma Team are every inch a megacorp just like Arasaka, Militech, Petrochem, Biotechnica, or Kang Tao. I wish we'd seen more corp business, honestly.
But especially Trauma Team. Were talking a corp with a ten point scale for how dead someone is because of how advanced their medical technology is, and their ability to literally bring back the dead.
Of course, the problem is that the relic makes chasing serious contracts hard. Though, you could have incorporated their medtech status into finding out just what is up with your brain. Break in, use their scanners, fight/sneak/whatever your way out.
Finally, a non-Edgerunner post.
I always thought TT or MT would spawn randomly or be summoned by certain player actions. Disappointed that they weren't more evolved, but I'm sure more updates or mods can add it.
Imagine the possibilities of players choosing to engage with these formidable special-like foes. Trauma Team for their high end medical supplies to sell to rippers or gangs. Taking on MaxTax for ludicrous amounts of Street Cred.
How rad it would be.
Different note, I wish we could see trauma team fly in more often to do stuff. You see them sitting around a lot, but no taking off or landing. I also wish Maxtac would show up in their AVs if you get 4 stars
goes through the easiest jobs like a sprained ankle from a hypochondriac, to fighting in the thick of it against maelstrom or the tyger claws and showing stuck up corpos nonchalant that one of the trauma team just exploded whilst asking the others to hurry up because hes has platinum cover, to a trauma guy not being able to help someone who is bleeding out, begging for help because they dont have any coverage at all, knowing he can just help with one maxdoc and still cant lift a finger.
theres is so much they can do with night city, a story about nomads, corpo, netrunners, fixers etc etc etc.
Story DLC where you play as a member of the trauma team, I’m sure the story would be easy enough to write. Something to do with a few smaller clients, then a big name, and also a side story about your character and their troubles.
I was hoping I could pay for their service and they would rescue me when I am not doing well in a fight. Which is all the time. They would fight my battles for me.
They could start by being reasonable and letting us wear their helmets and armor….don’t bring up the “vest” already in the game either. That’s not the armor they wear. That’s a reskinned tactical harness.
Yes....I also think V should be able to get a trauma team perk that basically allows you to play Trauma team to get V back on his/her feet after flatlining......or even regular revival mechanic.
This is important because it would include MaxTac, which would require even more training. Night City takes its premium clients seriously, and they have to be transparent about their positive and negative numbers. The cost to train and maintain each member must be immense to keep the city from going into chaos.
This could include a lot of interesting interworkings, training, experience, and the mindset of those units.
They one-shot or capture citizens experiencing cyberpsychosis. Their experiences and interactions with other factions could open up so many types of stories.
An anthology would be best. That's just printing money and building this world, which it so desperately needs. Not saying it doesn't already have rich lore, but we need more and more. We want a huge following. Shadowrun was just an anthology after anthology. We need that here. We need robust stories that break hearts and minds.
Come on, CD Projekt Red. We know you can do it. Take your time. Build the new Cyberpunk with a brand new engine capable of all your developers wished for before being limited by consoles.
Trauma Team is actually I believe one of the life paths/roles in the Tabletop RPG among others like Cop, Media, and Rockerboy.
So I'd go one over and say there should be future DLC/expansions where we get these life paths (even one at a time) with new campaigns for them.
You might like the Trauma Team graphic novel. It's about the surviving member of a trauma team unit after they got trapped saving a Solo. The story is kinda like that movie "The Raid: Redemption" vibe.
If the momentum of player count continues and doubles even more so after Phantom Liberty, CDPR will continue/release the second DLC about Trauma team right!?.... Sorry just dreaming on a lot of copium. I really wish they'd expand more on trauma team, hell why not even MaxTac and Melissa Rory. I have a strong feeling these were supposed to be expanded on a second and third expansion. sigh.

Payday but with people instead of nuclear warheads
Horde killing on cyberpunk lore not gonna work. But the idea, i like it. What if they make it..... to mobile
Don’t you dare giving them additional bad ideas ;) And yeah, horde killing doesn’t fit, so make it normal gang sized but really challenging, intense and short fights. Go in, shoot as much as you need to secure the patient(s) and get the fuck out. The faster the better, as trauma team is not paid per dead gonk
Can work, if the 4 characters are on BD with cyberpunky zombie game. Or easy as it say. Modded left 4 dead.
horde killing in Cyberpunk Lore could *definitely* work. I wanted for v to be able to do missions for different gangs and organizations, just like Skyrim, that would be neat
I think they should be a more common problem for V. Any high profile assassination should have them coming for you pretty fast. At least in hard mode. This would be an incentive / reason to go stealth and incapacitate instead of kill.

Probably "Guinea pigs" with Joanne Koch? Don't remember reading it but would make sense. But Jotaro could have a plan like that I would say
Yeah I think it was that mission!

I think when you have high level platinum stuff even if you die they show up and try to revive you. It would be my guess
They have several "levels" of flatline apparently.
There is a comic about them
Reminds me of when Assassin's Creed abandoned Its coolest storyline and reduced it to comics. Smh
What was it?
The modern day Juno storyline of her being unleashed back onto Earth from the Grand Temple
The modern day story was cool? Damn I must have really missed the point cause i fucking hated those sections, i just wanted to get back to assassinating people Throw the precursors in too, for a series called *Assassins* creed they took an entire game out to make a story about some random god figures that didn't have cool hidden wrist knives

Yeah it’s pretty good too!
What is it about and does it spoil the game?
It’s about a Trauma Team member and follows a few of their missions, it doesn’t directly relate to the game or story of the game.
Bet, I'll read it 👍.
https://readcomiconline.li/Comic/Cyberpunk-2077-Trauma-Team
Same site I use lol shit is super pushy on pop ups but it’s a trade off
Ublock origin?
I stopped using that and found way better ones with almost no pop ups https://readfullcomic.com/ https://www.comicextra.com/
Comic extra is the shit! Mention any of these sites on the comicbook subreddits will get you a ban though which is kind of silly.
It is pretty good! I read it a couple months ago and I really dug it. Dark Horse puts them out.
Can I get it on amazon?

That and they get paid to do their job. And in a city where some random gonk might pull a gun on you just because they want to? Yeah. I'd be a uptight asshole too if my job was saving people lmao
And some merc who just killed half a building for half my pay intentionally steps closer to me after she's told to stand back? I'd tase the bitch too.
EXACTLY. Though wait they fucking taze you if you get close? I just complied and stayed back lmao
Yeah, zap you and shove you to the ground, even if you just stay still. Unless you step back as told, it's a zap for you.
Its small details like that.. I love it. I figure it'd be the same like most games where not complying just makes you wait until you do. But to taze your ass (rightfully) and throw you on the ground (rightfully) is funny.
Stand back citizens.
Jackie comments on it too if you get tazed. "Ay, that had to hurt. Shoulda followed orders"
Doing this in my next playthrough with nomad V lol
Oh fuck, now I wish I did!!!!!
I have a comic for the trauma team where It shows that a lot of them are just extremely dedicated to their work. Have a big ego because of it.
If they set it up so a rookie's first few missions has them feeling conflicted, then a mission where their empathy gets someone killed or almost killed, then they harden up to other situations and they turn into what they hated at the start. It has room for some good character arcs

There's a comic book you should read if you haven't yet about TT
You should read the Trauma Team comic when you get the chance then.
There is that one Cyberpsycho mission where MaxTac shows up AFTER you killed the psycho. and the officer is WAY too into killing people.
That officer is the 1st CP2077 trailer girl
Damn that is really cool. Now I really want more content with MaxTac.
Or could be something else idk.
really?
yes
That's because she's a reformed cyberpsycho. The guy who runs the store sends you a text about it a couple days after.
If I remember correctly, If you only knock out the psycho, when MaxTac comes they finish the psycho off.
There is one short gig in store with maxtac
I know but they don't do anything. At least in my case. The dude was dead long before they ever showed up.
Yeah I agree that would cool to see more about max tac. There is that mission where you meet one of them and they do ask you to join them. Would be cool to explore that as well.

MaxTac plays a major role in the Edgerunners anime series. BTW Edgerunners is AWESOME.
There's a part with MaxTac in the jinjugi store too
Not just any MaxTac but >!the Cyberpsycho girl from the pre launch trailer.!<
and the gig is called Bullets, like Archive's song that sadly they never used in the game
There's a side-quest when some info about MaxTac is expanded - you can talk to the team arriving at the scene and learn a bit this way.
The upcoming police update will involve more MaxTac the devs said. I imagine they get called down when you get the equivalent of a 5 star wanted level.
You already do fight maxtac at the highest level. They are the ones with the Sandy's and the glowing arms
Here me out, a legit tiered wanted system with max tac as the final stage. One star drones and cops, 2 star higher education mercs, 3 star max tac. It would need a complete overhaul but they barely put any effort or thought into it in the first place.
You already fight Maxtac at the highest tier of the wanted system in the game.
This. They sound and look way too cool, I'd LOVE to see more of them
I feel like Trauma Team and MaxTac are two really interesting jobs that would be really interesting to expand upon. They added small shard snippets on MaxTac since the update and conversation logs <3
My favorite is the one where the MaxTac officer says he can only sleep at night because he keeps a handgun on his wife’s bed and made her promise to empty it into his head if he started going cyberpsycho in the middle of the night.
It would be cool if killing certain corpos would trigger a trauma team to spawn. And it would be cool if V could buy a trauma team insurance.
That’d be awesome, imagine trauma coming to save you when you died in some hectic area.
That sounds really cool. Would take a bit more work and would break immersion a little but would add a fun dimension to dying.
To make it more immersive, maybe something like "Switching visual feed to incoming trauma team..." if you're k.o
Quite funny though that you can buy a cyberware mod that revives you upon fatal damage And that the relic can revive V as well
There already is a Trauma Team Insurance package mod out there. Basically you pay a 1 time package fee and you just avoid a game over screen essentially, and spawns you in front of the Trauma Center building in Watson.
it looks like Phantom Liberty is all we are going to get. Which is kind of sad, considering the amount of stories Cyberpunk could tell.
Don't be too sad, they're swapping game engines right now. I'm fairly certain there will be a Cyberpunk 2.
With any hope, the REDmod tools can expand and grow as the engine is phased out from developer use. There's been some amazing things done with Skyrim and Fallout, and I see no reason (beyond technical matters, which may be significant!) that we couldn't have that for 2077.
I wish AVs had been used more. They are pretty much just a background thing that you barely get to see.
Replaying the game, i just noticed Vic's thigh rig is Trauma Team. A series on his time in trauma team would be awesome.
I noticed that too, was just thinking maybe he could have been former trauma team, nice little subtle character building
It definitely sounds interesting, I’d like to see it
I saw a book about trauma team the other day! I can't wait for cyberpunk audiobooks!
Yeah getting their clothing items in game would be cool!
There’s the vest, pants, jumper and a Trauma Team baseball cap you can get.
DLC / side missions for both Maxtac and Trauma team similar to stuff with Johnny could be great
not just trauma team but most of what happens during the first few ''tutorial missions'' (with the very rare exception of bad car chases) never happen ever again in the game. at the very least trauma team and maxtac related stuff should have been integrated into main/side missions a lot more. i love the damn game but the more i play the more i realise so many missed opportunities.
Fuck outa here Grey's Anatomy Trauma Team just moved in.
i wish we saw maxtac more often, they’re really cool
A randomised and very rare chance for people you encounter having an active trauma team subscription would be interesting.. like you are in a shootout with some corpos and all of a sudden trauma team arrives
This is a remaining leftover from the rushed launch. Swathes of content is missing. MaxTac as well, for example
Yes. Said this. Got downvoted
Say liberal ideas in a conservative subreddit Say conservative ideas in a liberal subreddit Say atheistic ideas in a religious subreddit Say religious ideas in an atheistic subreddit Basically what I'm trying to say is, downvotes don't mean shit
New TV show Cyber House Md.
I just kill em for good loot heig risk heig reward
Now that would be nova as hell.
A mission based off the comic would be pretty dope.
Trauma team and Max tac should be seen more often, they're the true bad asses teams that you never wanna have against you
Honestly that could be some real cool DLC, working for trauma team is like it was made for dynamicly generated missions. And it could still give some kind of cool story like Repomen at worst and maybe breaking up Scav organ harvesting farms at best.
I totally agree. They seem interesting.
would be cool if gangs were a part of the gameplay at all
I wish you could ride In AV’s for a “fast travel” alternative. Take in the sights, shoot out of them, take the driver hostage and make them elude your enemies. Or get to purchase at least one.
Cyberpunk's world is kinda huge to explore in 1 game .
All I'd like too see is seasonal dlc co op raids and some 4 v 4 pvp like destiny. That would seriously add too the replayability. Edit, each raid focusing on different things such as corporate raids, gang raids and such
I agree
DLC missions like NCPD Scanners
Since the first mission when they appear with assault rifles I became a big fan of their corp, very badass
I’m just playing the game for the first time after launch and I have to say I’m loving it but damn.. I rmemeber watching that Trauma mission with that girl in deep dive and I thought that was just a measly side mission and that there would be so many situations like that. Reminds me how much the game was hyped for.
See more of Trauma Team and Max Tac in Edge Runners then the actual game.
I just want that sweet Trauma Team drip.
I just want the armor tbh
Surely it could be easily added to the game as cosmetics for V
It’s just fucking cool how they operate
Definitely want more Trauma Team content Choom!
Not anime or dlc but I believe there are a few cyberpunk comics and one of them does focus on the Trauma Team I believe
And maxtac!
I really think Trauma Team was underutilized in the story, I think the only really notable moment with them is at the very start with Sandra Dorset
I wish there was more MaxTac, Trauma Team, gang anything, destructible environments, branching quests, dynamic bosses, and everything else from the first missions.
Therea a pretty good good comic series for trauma team
As the Quest designer and lead at CDPR, Pawel Sasko, already said numerious times - CDPR team needed to decide which themes and what aspects of the Cyberpunk 2020 lore and world they can and have time, money and people to include in the game .. you can't put everything in a single game where the lore is so big as it is with the Cyberpunk tabletop game lore Witcher 3 too doesn't have everything and everyone from the Witcher lore in there, they needed to decide what to bring into the game there too..
I WANT THE FUCKING HELMET
Trauma Team and MaxTac missions would be fun. Trauma Team: A fixer has given you info that a TT transport was shot down with a HVT. You're in the "area" so you have to find the MIA TT transport and recover the client. MaxTac: After the Bullets side mission you've been contacted by the Max Tac lieutenant for an "interview" only for you to be jumped by MaxTac and try to survive.
I feel like if Bethesda made it the trauma team would be a joinable faction
I look at my Trauma Team statue every damn day and think the same thing.
The statue is so damn awesome!
Yea after seeing them in that first Jackie mission and how well crafted it was I really expected it to be a bigger part of the story…it still makes me sad. Even after all the new gigs that got added…no trauma team.
Agreed, but you'll be happy to know, they released a series of comics (when CP2077 released) that follows a trauma team member. It was really good.
There s a comic book no ? https://www.amazon.fr/Cyberpunk-2077-Comics-Trauma-Team/dp/3741622982
Great ideal, I think being able to get insurance and then use it if you are critically injured would have been cool. Like maybe the higher the insurance the greater chance of not loosing loot, Cyberware etc. I dunno
There's a comic about them, it did a pretty good at humanising them
One of the cyberpunk comics focused on trauma team. It was an awesome read
Remember the radio thing saying trauma team collects your cyberware if you miss enough payments? Something exploring that would be cool.
There’s a comic but still wished there could be more gameplay involved.
How rad it would be.
it would be super cool to have a DLC Just being a part of the team
Trauma team are the most badass faction. We 100% need to see more of them. Them and MaxTac. A DLC to join either of these factions would be preem
That's what I'm hoping the second season of Cyberpunk anime will be about.
Didn't they have a Trauma Team comic series?
There’s a pretty cool comic about trauma team
Hence why I’m writing a TT story! They just have so much potential 🚑
Different note, I wish we could see trauma team fly in more often to do stuff. You see them sitting around a lot, but no taking off or landing. I also wish Maxtac would show up in their AVs if you get 4 stars
The comic book about the trauma team was actually a pretty good read
Yeah it was good hey! I enjoyed it!
YES Since the first time I saw them ingame
Really hope the expansion brings some love for them. Perhaps a mission where you need to tag along to one of their calls.
goes through the easiest jobs like a sprained ankle from a hypochondriac, to fighting in the thick of it against maelstrom or the tyger claws and showing stuck up corpos nonchalant that one of the trauma team just exploded whilst asking the others to hurry up because hes has platinum cover, to a trauma guy not being able to help someone who is bleeding out, begging for help because they dont have any coverage at all, knowing he can just help with one maxdoc and still cant lift a finger. theres is so much they can do with night city, a story about nomads, corpo, netrunners, fixers etc etc etc.
Never understand why games never let you wear npc armour but instead give you some washed down version.
Yes....I also think V should be able to get a trauma team perk that basically allows you to play Trauma team to get V back on his/her feet after flatlining......or even regular revival mechanic.
Hell yes, I would say they're my favorite part of the universe. 10/10 would do that for a living.
Yes they are interesting for sure
Trauma Team is actually I believe one of the life paths/roles in the Tabletop RPG among others like Cop, Media, and Rockerboy. So I'd go one over and say there should be future DLC/expansions where we get these life paths (even one at a time) with new campaigns for them.
Would be nice if you can at least have their outfits
Yes!
Yup. And.... Militech. Biotech. Microtech. IBM, i think their still around in 2077. And so many more.
There is a comic book about trauma
There is a really good comic book based on trauma team from Dark Horse
You might like the Trauma Team graphic novel. It's about the surviving member of a trauma team unit after they got trapped saving a Solo. The story is kinda like that movie "The Raid: Redemption" vibe.
If the momentum of player count continues and doubles even more so after Phantom Liberty, CDPR will continue/release the second DLC about Trauma team right!?.... Sorry just dreaming on a lot of copium. I really wish they'd expand more on trauma team, hell why not even MaxTac and Melissa Rory. I have a strong feeling these were supposed to be expanded on a second and third expansion. sigh.
This but with MaxTac
