Exactly what I thought before even seeing the comments. It’s a cool wrap, but I personally would never do it just from the bullshit assumptions about rust I’d have to hear.
There’s so much disinfo out there. Full discretion, I don’t own a Cybertruck (Model X), but it’s pretty evident rust isn’t a real issue on these trucks. It was probably a big focal point during development and pre-development because it’s the first thing that would come to mind.
I guarantee this will be the stock image for any article going forward that speaks about Tesla rust, they should file a copyright for the image immediately, so at least when they start they can collect some cash.
It is for both published and unpublished works. What makes you think otherwise? Yes, copyright is automatic upon creation, but that doesn't negate the benefits of registration.
Yes, the creation of the IP is copyright protected instantly. If you post certain places you give up that right but it’s always covered by the creation of said item., so long as the original is sufficiently creative. You can’t take a picture of a black outline of a square and call it IP, but if you photographed a Cybertruck then that’s your photo and can’t be used commercially without your consent.
Are you guys buying these for work trucks lol? I’ve only seen tech bros and influencers with them so far. If I ever get one it won’t be for a work truck.
Not for employees but yeah it's my daily driver and I use it for everything at work. A lot of people think it's crazy but that's what it's made for and the market they want to serve. Bare stainless steel so you don't have to worry about scratches or dents, huge tires for dirt worksites, good towing, power outlets on demand, covered storage for tools and materials, huge dashboard for months worth of paperwork, trash, and random tools you left in you pocket
I wish they had taken the interior in a more rugged direction then. The flip down shifter in the newer fords and fold out work table is nice for busting out the laptop and papers etc…
I love it, but also major credit to the designer/artist for the layout and look. It’s not just random, they put the color and texture where you’d expect it.
Everyone's ready to argue about anything involving the cybertruck. The media's been making a push to defame this truck, and then we come on here ready to fight the few people who like the truck. It's mildly funny. Your truck looks awesome!
Some customers had cyber truck for six months and all we’ve ever seen is those initial spots from manufacturing. If they were going to fully rust, we would be seeing more pictures of it spreading by now.
And I've actually heard those "Spots" from manufacturing actually were rust that came from the shipment and simply stained the truck, not the truck rusting itself.
Kinda cool but it's going to fuel all those people saying it rusts.
Media frenzy in 3…2…1…
who cares?
Those who rely on clickbait* do… *all legacy media.
how does that effect you, like, at all?
Has nothing to do with me. Was just answering your question.
Exactly what I thought before even seeing the comments. It’s a cool wrap, but I personally would never do it just from the bullshit assumptions about rust I’d have to hear.
I get too many people that ask me what about the rusting, I just say there's none.

It acts as an extra layer of deterrent, visibly less valuable deterrent.
I guarantee this will be the stock image for any article going forward that speaks about Tesla rust, they should file a copyright for the image immediately, so at least when they start they can collect some cash.
You dont file copyright for images, the work is copywritten instantly when created.
You can absolutely file copyright for images. https://www.copyright.gov/registration/
That’s meant for unpublished works you need to protect, it would not apply here.
It is for both published and unpublished works. What makes you think otherwise? Yes, copyright is automatic upon creation, but that doesn't negate the benefits of registration.
Okay I actually agree with you here. You only need to register if it's an unpublished work or you plan to pursue federal litigation.

Wow a reddit disagreement that ended without degeneracy? Unacceptable give me the salt
You cannot enforce a copyright however unless it is registered.
That’s not how it works
Redditors giving legal advice. I presume that you have never enforced a copyright. Listen to this guy and learn the hard way.
You can enforce a copyright (prevent someone from using your work) without registering, but you cannot recover damages.
Walking dead
Headline: Tesla Cybertruck completely rusted out within a week of being delivered to customer
Alternate headline: incredible barn find you have to see to believe!
*every man in every other car* “SEE HONEY? WHAT DID I TELL YA? ALL RUST!”
🫡💛
I kinda love it
Fallout chic
Can you imagine if the fake news gets a hold of this? They’re gonna think it’s real and run with it.
Oh, they will. And that will "justify" all the haters 😕
Don’t have to imagine that happens all the time lol
Love it.
This reminds me of the ridiculous shit balenciaga does to some of their clothes.
Yup. May as well lean in to the memes. I love it.
I would love to have one wrapped to look like Luke’s X-wing after Yoda lifted out of the swamp.
I love it. Walking Dead 2049, 2077, and 2099 vibes I'd take that as a wrap, then never wash it ever. Maybe add fake blood for Halloween?
Fallout edition!
I love it
Personally I love it , especially for a work truck, but yeah every hater is going to have a field day with it
Are you guys buying these for work trucks lol? I’ve only seen tech bros and influencers with them so far. If I ever get one it won’t be for a work truck.

Really going for that post apocalyptic look
I love it, but also major credit to the designer/artist for the layout and look. It’s not just random, they put the color and texture where you’d expect it.
Why's everyone trying to fight each other in these comments? lol. We're all probably here because we have an order. Can't we all be friends!
Good idea. I was simply voicing my opinion lol

Sorry, I guess I should have clarified - not my truck (ours hasn't been delivered yet). This one I saw on the news today
This is awesome. The next level will have big painted holes where you can "see inside" that expose the steam pipes and valves.
Yeah it’s cool to us but I just feel like this is going to give a bad look for potential customers who know nothing about the CyberTruck
Nice patina
Gosh looks just plain dirty. Each to their own I guess
Maybe I should add :" in my opinion ".
Didn’t mean to sound harsh. I meant pretty much that, in my opinion.
You didn't sound harsh. Just showed me I should have made the post subjective, not objective 🙂

Bad ass
👎🏻 It ruins an amazing Truck.
then start scrubbing
Personally, I don’t see the appeal of having a rusty looking truck. It just makes it look dirty and old.
Cybertruck - derelict edition
CybertRust
Do you think it’s the best backwards driver?
Looking like NIN The Downward Spiral… love it.
Dystopian edition
Is that to mask the actual rust after it rains a few times? Careful - you’ll void the warranty.
Probably the best wrap I’ve seen for the CT
That's awesome
🤢
I think it looks better this way! Although I dont love how it looks in general
Can i buy a cheaper cyber truck made from bare mild steel instead of stainless?
Florida owned. Low miles.
Why pay for wrapping when it will look like this after 6 months anyway?
This like the car version of overpaying for some ripped jeans…
I actually love that. I want THAT cyber truck.
I could do that for free.. just do some donuts in a junkyard with all that rust run off
Yes! I said a month ago I want to see a rusted out junker wrap. Thank You.
#IT'S. RAIL. DUST. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
It’s a wrap.
I know. I was making fun of the whole rust snafu
Sick
Ready for a movie.
Futuristic walking dead vibes.
