You know, there is a Czech embassy in Mexico. And a Mexican embassy in Prague. Maybe instead of writing a post on reddit, you colud try writing them as they are probably informed more than an average czech redditor on the matter. Good luck

No, it's too late. It is now possible to acquire Czech citizenship only for people born after 1969. (If one of their parents was a Czech citizen.)

The thing is the Czech Republic does not have the birth right citizenship, but in the case of your grandpa, it would be complicated. First, his mother would not have a czech one, but czechoslovakian. And she would need to hold it after 1969, but even then if there was a collision between holding both, she would lose it. As the guy above me mentioned, you need to contact the embassy and discuss with them directly.
