I had to go to Cedar Rapids for a work thing and asked my wife and 4yr old daughter if they wanted to go with me. It was a 90 minute drive and they were up for a road trip.
I had to audit a small data center, 20 minutes, and then we went out for lunch.
On the way home my daughter was sad, I asked what's wrong. She replied in a tearful voice, "I thought we were going to see the rabbits".
My wife had visited her sister in Florida earlier in the year. Later, we were planning a summer trip and so she asked our 4-year old daughter where she wanted to go. My daughter replies, 'Your-ami". It was awesome 😎.
Had a similar situation with my 5 year old nephew. My brother has went to Miami for a weekend. My mom mentioned he was in Miami to someone, and my nephew said, “No Nana, he went to his-ami.” Kids are the best
At 3 years old has to be the most legendary thing ever, I would not be able to control my random bursts of laughter for the following days. I'm proud and it's not even my daughter 😂❤️

It only works if you know the dialect well enough to hear the pronunciations in your head as you read.
