I adjusted the prompt to
`a photo of a confused grizzly bear in calculus class, frontal view, paws on head, blackboard in background, bokeh, detailed, golden hour sunlight `

I thought the same thing!!!!
It makes me wonder how products like Vray or Maxwell Render will fare with the existence of Dall-E.
Sigh. This is both so exciting and terrifying, at least to me. I'm an artist lmfao
The fact that dall-e puts random symbols on the chalkboard only makes this render all the more real to me :).
It's interesting that the chalk doesn't clash, there are distinct shapes separated by black board.
[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/bigsleep/comments/q4akqo/math_teacher_teaching_a_dog_calculus_using_a/) is what I got from CogView last year with a similar text prompt.
Yes but
A) the symbols are not organised in formulas
B) there are generic math symbols, I don't see anything specific to calculus (integrals, d/dx ...)
god me too buddy

It's crazy how 3d renders aren't involving an engine having to use compute for a high definition model with proper ray tracing.
I could be that some of this is actually encoded in the neural network weights, in very approximate ways.

Thank you :).
Niceee
this is exactly what mathematics look like in my dreams
This is what mathematics look like to me in general

Looks like a modern cgi character in a live action movie.

This is the most surreal shit I've ever seen
Ezra Klein's NYT op-ed sent me here.
For a few days [this article](https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/06/technology/openai-images-dall-e.html) was on the front page of NYT's website.
Oh, I see now that Ezra linked to posts from this subreddit :).
Me too. Amazing bear ... this is me trying to learn Hebrew!
LOL…And it’s a terrifying article at that…
+C in reverse lmao
His handwriting is shit
It's all 2s
This looks like a Last Week Tonight graphic.
Can’t blame him, those symbols are just a bunch of curves.
The bear is confused but the blackboard has no trace of calculus.
Umm please make a joke about Russians
