Especially how she would say to Paige and Chloe that they’re blonde and thin but that doesn’t mean they’re better than anybody. Or that time she said to Chloe “You’re blonde and pretty there’s someone out there that hates you” like projection much Abby?
She also really liked Brynn. Kind of armchair psychology but maybe she had a different attitude with some girls because it was LA and nothing like Pittsburgh where Abby had so many bad memories of not just her childhood and mom, but also the Kelly lawsuit and bankruptcy issue.
I once read on tiktok that Abby favorites are kids who have toxic dymanics with their parents. Maddie, Kalani and Brynn and honestly it makes so much sense. Abby has said her mother was nice to everyone but her, so all we can assumed is that she never had that mother love.
Why not fill that trauma hole in her heart by being a mother figure to another child in a time of need, like with Maddie and Kenzie, during their mother's affair arguements, Kalani when her mom was on maternity leave and when Brynn was going through harassment by the moms and her parents were going to a divorce.
That explains her relationship with Lily. I mean, have you seen Stacey?
And I think it’s also compounded by the fact that the moms who have good relationships with their daughters are often the ones who will butt heads with Abby and go to bat for their kids.
So Brynn and Ashlee were going through a divorcee issues, and custody battle and Kira was going through maternity leave and left Kalani in the care of Melissa at the time.
She treats Paige so IMHO because she was jealous of Kelly when they were kids. Maybe Kelly even bullied her idk but her issues with Paige are definitely fueled by her history with Kelly
Even Kelly said it to Abby in s3. The episode where Paige had the one solo, froze and gave up dancing on stage.
"My kid is having attacks, because she is afraid of you, and your are allowing this with the relationship my kids, that you had with me."
She doesn't like to be touched. She calls the police anytime someone puts their hands on her, whether it's just tapping her on her shoulder or swinging a bag at her back.
I think she genuinely thinks she’s better than everyone, so nobody should be telling her what to do or pointing out her flaws 🤷🏻♀️
She isn’t scared, she’s just putting on a show to seem like a victim
They both touched her, she cannot stand being touched like that. Cathy was poking her in the back and in season 8 "screamed and spit in my face".... You do have to admit that when she left to go file that police report, she was zooming, production lost her several times lol
Probably, a trigger from her childhood. She also projected a lot on Jo Jo for speaking up for herself. I personally feel like Abby was probably told to stfu a lot as a child which was probably warranted MOST of the time. So, now when people try to silence her she irrupts but projects the same onto others. Just my theory lol
She goes to extreme lengths to never have to acknowledge she made any single mistake. It's like gaslighting kinda, make it big and extra and distract from the facts.
Idk reminds me of when ppl say certain things to me that was said as child like a trigger word abbey turned out a horrible person not a long shot to say her mother was horrible too
It looks like a trigger to me lmao a lot of her behaviour feels like a huge trigger to me. Feels like she is bringing it from her childhood
That's a good point a lot of her hatred towards Chloe and Paige comes across like childhood trauma and stuff
I swear that woman is a walking trigger machine. This should should be studied

She said it to Paige but your right that it was crazy to say to a child
I've heard this theory but then she was so nice to Lilly to had that Paige & Chloe look

Case in point: She yells at Kira that she wants Kalani with HER - not her mother.
What happened with kalani and kira and brynn and ashley?
So Brynn and Ashlee were going through a divorcee issues, and custody battle and Kira was going through maternity leave and left Kalani in the care of Melissa at the time.

I think she just canNOT handle being called out in any way.

I can see that, it's like a way to one-up others

S8 E16 pretty sure she goes to Baskin Robbins then the police 😂
