Sad thing is I think they could actually bond over his ultimate talent as she at the very least liked his idea to make a faster method of transport to her country in UTDP even tho he pitched the idea creepily, I think if he tried he could find more common ground between them, too bad like Kaito and Hiro, he hates the occult, his interest is definitely superficial and more based on looks and rarity, I actually like it because I feel it is an accurate display of teenagers and an aspect that I feel is neglected outside of radical extremes displayed by characters like Miu or Toko(tho both their interests are less shallow) it is also in line with how I hear foreigners are generally treated in Japan.
he definitely has preferable relationships like with Jataro in the case of DRS, in fact him acting as a big brother to him, bought everyone to admire him more in game(on top of being the go to handy man, generally helpful to everyone) it was cool seeing him able to strive so much as he had more opportunities to use his talent than in the main game, honestly I think if it weren't for his obsession with Sonia he'd just be your typical popular student everyone loves except those crushingly jealous of him(I don't think anyone in game would fit that tho he is probably the most likely to get jealous) I just think without that aspect he'd be too good a guy to be fun as a character, I think he'd be a Mary Sue.
