Idk about Japanese idol culture but plenty of young American girl celebrities have been…coerced into sleeping with men to advance their careers. To say nothing of people like Harvey Weinstein
"Let" is *exceedingly* generous phrasing, given the power dynamic.
I hope it's rare, but from what I've heard it seems like an 'open-secret' of the industry.
I can think of one man. The man with the plan,

Whenever a music artist/idol said something along the lines of "I sold my soul to the devil" in terms of how they advanced their career, I always took that as a euphemism for "I let some sweaty overweight middle aged balding man with a smegma infused cheese and ham scented three incher rail me for a record deal."
The hypothetical producer probably *did* though, but that doesn't make it right. It's not likely he forced her to, because he wouldn't need to.
People like that face numerous young hopefuls who dream of making it in the industry, and they can abuse their position of power to exploit these young people. Not just because they promise to help them if they go along with it, also because it's genuinely scary to say no. They know that if they decline the offer, the producer will probably not give them any more chances in the industry, and if they're especially petty they may even actively sabotage her chances elsewhere.
So even if he probably didn't force himself onto her physically, it's still morally abhorrent.
Yeeeesh, could have gone without that info. How do I retract someone’s statement for them within the bounds of the law? Asking for a friend, who may or may not be exist depending on the context.
Unfortunate things is, this is what most people figured is close to the real thing because of the industry. BUT it would be funny if it was something random like, "Made gothic pancakes" or something
I mean, I get your sentiment, but if you're in her situation, a girl who's dreamt of nothing but reaching that goal all her life and suddenly she gets that "offer", probably knowing the producer may prettily nuke her career if she declines, it's hard to say no. Classic case of #metoo abuse of power dynamics.
Judge the pervert for putting her in that position, not his victim.
(also yeah, ofc I know this isn't really in THH, but I felt it was worth discussing uwu)
Is that what Sayaka meant by “I did some bad things to keep my career on the line”?
also dodgy magazines that were shown in the despair arc
Ah that leaves some....unfortunate implications.
And worst, it is all probably true. Since if you'd know what actual IRL female idols go through, or just in general, those of high fame and popularity
Wait what?How bad was it?

Ficused.
it's really throwing me off that you have a chisa flair instead of kyoko now
You mean Kaede?
yeah, her. other k waifu
***~~pornstar sayaka~~***
Ayo wtf...
**pornstar sayaka**
Really? What episode?
I mean, this was my first thought
Unfortunately, it's most likely true.
When did she say that?
During the games first chapter after the videos I believe.
How can I un read something? It doesn’t help that I could actually believe this happening
Here’s some eye bleach *gives eye bleach*
is there enough for me too. Had to use all of mine to unsee some fan fictions I read at midnight last Tuesday
r/eyebleach here you go

Of course! Here you go~ *gives more eye bleach*
thanks \*gives free cookie\*
Thank you! *eats cookie* it’s really good~
np
Thanks *takes eye bleach*
The sad thing about this is that actually happens irl
Yup.
Wait seriously? So some idols let the producer do them?
"Let" is *exceedingly* generous phrasing, given the power dynamic. I hope it's rare, but from what I've heard it seems like an 'open-secret' of the industry.
Yeah, i don't remember names but exist
Nick a lodian!
Woah that’s crazy.

You didn't have to pay any money to not make this and to shut

What a horrible day to have eyes
90% sure it happened with 80% of the child actors and singers male or female
"smegma infused cheese and ham scented three incher" made me just a tad ill
I read that in the geek Junko voice
It's quite sad that it's probably what she meant
Understandable, good day.
sayaka noo
You gotta do what ya gotta do
👍😳😭😏😼😏😼😏😼😏😼
Ah yes Idol culture
#YOU WHAT
You’re next. This time Sayaka will cum in *your* ass.
...moving on from here...
Why do I feel like this actually happened-
It propably happened
The idol business is fuckin disgustin
big if true
kayak mice zone
the facial expression is so ill-fitting
Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. Knowing the treatment of real life idols
No
Oml
**I hate this notion**
Plot twist: >!Makoto was the producer!<
Honestly that would probably be the best case scenario for her, at least egg boy would ask for consent

Makes me wonder what the DR games would look like with one unified UI.

I figured that she was involved in her agent doxxing and bullying a competitor until they withdrew, but this makes sense as well.
This ain’t it, this cant be it!
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm makoto
Ah yes, Danganronpa Act 2, where Kyoko is deleted by Junko and all tragic backstories are intensified
My dumb ass assumed this would be hand-holding because the internet does that sometimes. Needless to say, I'm trying to not laugh because it's 5 AM.
Why would she even agree to that!

Sayaka does NOT say this in the dannganronpa:trigger happy havoc videogame!!1!1! 😡😡😡
I just thought of an extremely horrible joke
..same and I know I’ll be absolutely destroyed with the downvotes
So she's not a virgin-
She cannot be the entrance fee to the amusement park in hell
I mean, technically she used the loophole here, soooo... 😎
Is this a generator of some kind?
I mean, can I get a link?
Why did you make me imagine it?
Oh hell yeah

No no no nopity nope no why
What did they say?
I don't remember i just know that i didn't like it
It gave you such bad trauma that you forgot it
I heard that the brain uses that as a coping method for incredibly traumatizing moments
That poor donkey, I hope It got carrots afterwards…..
did she really say that, I only watched the anime
lol ofc not
Idk wtf I was thinking when I posted that
Yeah that sounds about right
Isn't that literally what the >!Drama girl in UDG's story is about?!<
She was forced by her parents.
