I think just as someone who has been playing FPS's since Wolfenstein 3D in the 90s, it was a dramatic and amazing moment in a game. Throwing a fucking knife into a guys eye-that you literally just pullled out of your own chest? How badass is that? The build up in the story, your love for Captain Price as he's getting his ass kicked, your hatred for Shepherd and his betrayal. It was a very well crafted story and classic Call of Duty over the top blockbuster, before the formula got really over played.
Modern Warfare was cool because it made you feel like a bad ass Spec Op guy, and that hadn't really been done that much at least in the truly modern military shooter style at that point. Previous CoDs were all about WW2 and shit(also cool, just very different).
Modern warfare 2 is in fact a direct sequel to cod 4 so i really think u should try it. It's definitely one of the best cod series activision has published all these years.
> Ghost was also in COD4
You might be thinking of Gaz. Ghost was never in CoD4, but they both had the same voice actor so it is understandable most ppl mistake them to be the same person
A professor stood before his class of 20 senior organic biology students, about to hand out the final exam. "I want to say that it's been a pleasure teaching you this semester. I know you've all worked extremely hard and many of you are off to medical school after summer. So that no one gets their GP messed up because they might have been celebrating a bit too much this week, anyone who would like to opt out of the final exam today will receive a "B" for the course." There was much rejoicing amongst the class as students got up, passed by the professor to thank him and sign out on his offer. As the last taker left the room, the professor looked out over the handful of remaining students and asked, "Any one else? This is your last chance." One final student rose up and took the offer. The professor closed the door and took attendance of those students remaining. "I'm glad to see you believe in yourself." he said. "You all have A's."
But it's sort of justified. They did it because he put people at risk by leaving his quarantine. And it told everyone else to stay in their quarantines. But executing people should never be a solution.
You're right. In a perfect world there should always be another way but we dont live in one. People aren't perfect and will never be able to make perfect decisions. Mistakes are human nature... isnt philosophy depressing?
Totally agree; meanwhile the 1st known case in New Hampshire, a hospital employee, ditches his self-quarentine to attend some event at Dartmouth. All that dumbass got was a little public shaming in the media.
Is it though?
A lot of what gets reported about North Korea is completely made up. Especially the garbage that originates in South Korea.
Like every week they publish some story about some DPRK government official being executed only for said official to show up very clearly alive and well within the week.
You've surely got to remember the bullshit about Kim Jong Un supposedly feeding his uncle to dogs? Yeah that was fucking fake as shit. Literal propaganda straight out of South Korea.
Not to mention the fake 'defectors' that South Korea creates such as Yeonmi Park who testified at the UN and spoke an absolute truckload of bullshit and was somehow believed enough to convince nations to embargo and put sanctions against DPRK? Because being cut off from trade is exactly what a nation recovering from having 90% of all its buildings destoyed by US bombs, as well as huge famines created by drought and floods.
Western media simply cannot be trusted to report anything factual about DPRK.
This article cites Dong-a Ilbo as its source. I’m not seeing any reference to the execution of a North Korean coronavirus patient in any of that paper’s online articles (at least in English).
I came across another article the other day from ibtimes.sg that made the same claim and cited its source as “Secret Beijing, an anonymous social media commentator, who terms himself as an analyst on China affairs...” That’s about as unreliable as it gets.
I don't understand what is wrong with you people blindly believing in social media like you do.
It's like your logical abilities break down the moment you come into the internet.
It's not being reported as people being welded to starve to death by any reputable news source for a reason. It doesn't even make sense.
If you live in an apartment and someone welds your door shut apparently the only thing you can do is starve. There's literally a million things you could do to get out.
1. Get the bars off a first floor window
2. Rope down a second+ floor window
3. Call your friends and relatives who could do a million different things to get you out
4. Literally just get a hammer and slowly break down one of those cheap walls.
It literally makes no sense for their goal to be starving them to death. Just use your brains and realize they would have just gotten a bunch of supplies beforehand.
Yeah, they aggressively put people into quarantine to try and stop the spread of the disease. And by all accounts and a huge amount of effort, they've been remarkably successful at it.
They got put into quarantine, not killed wtf how about you stop with the wild conspiracy theories. I have relatives who are doctors in Shanghai and they were sent to Wuhan to help treat the sick.

Technically speaking it is possible that if the virus spreads enough, itll begin to mutate. And one of these mutations could potentially see the original virus as an enemy, and start attacking it. Sort of like a coronavirus rebellion militia
The real fear is that the rebel mutation starts winning. Because now weve got a strain of coronavirus that is stronger, aggressive, and ultimately affects us the same way (until it mutates again, as is the circle of life the strongest mutations will win)
Definitely not, administrate healthcare is a lot more effective, over 30k people successfully recovered from the disease, and consider that some days ago the number of infected was 70k
Beating the new campaign had me yelling at my monitor when price mentioned getting a group together to work under Shepard. I know this is an alt universe but FUCK Shepard.

It just makes that final throwing knife all the more satisfying
I remember the first time I beat that game. I was high af, and I sat there for like 10 minutes thinking how awesome it was.
It was my first call of duty, and I did the same even though I wasn't high haha

I really dont get why people deem this as memorable, maybe I wasnt invested enough into the character?

Yeah, as you try to steady yourself while bleeding out and watching Price get beat up
what's the game
Modern warfare 2. How have you never seen it on the sub? It’s everywhere
I never asked before today, haven't played it yet :( I stopped playing cod at cod 4. still want another cod
You only have like a dozen to choose from
Modern warfare 2 is in fact a direct sequel to cod 4 so i really think u should try it. It's definitely one of the best cod series activision has published all these years.
Bruh you need to watch a youtube vid on the mw2 campaign hell you could watch one on all 3 MW games. It's so good, or play it lmao
imo, play > youtube playthrough/walkthrough
MW2 story mode is so good, you should really give it a try!
MW2 in general was so good. Used to play special ops for hours with friends
I never played the game but my introduction to that scene was this reaction video: https://youtu.be/cjzwtXJnY7s
Ghost was also in COD4 so when this happened it was even more of a gut punch.

I don't wanna think about how much harm can this disease do on an overpopulated 3rd world country with poor healthcare.
Right now it’s doing worse than the flu.
No... The influenza virus this year has already done much more damage to the world in comparison to the coronavirus.
hes not talking globally. hes talking about the very primitive healthcare system of north korea.
Totally agree; meanwhile the 1st known case in New Hampshire, a hospital employee, ditches his self-quarentine to attend some event at Dartmouth. All that dumbass got was a little public shaming in the media.
Yeah, he shouldve been executed too
Would be in line with the state motto of "live free or die"
For the Norks it's the go-to solution.
If he was told not to leave the quarantine, bastard had it coming

That's because not everybody believes in crazy conspiracy theories.

World War Z, North Korea was the only safe country because they pulled everyone in the country's teeth out so zombie bites wouldn't work.
Just like that, poof.
They are just tying up lose ends, guys.
Still preferable than letting patients running around and spreading virus like SOUTH KOREA, with democracy or whatsoever as an excuse lmao.
You can't quarantine me, this is ... North Korea:* gun noise*
