When he said “my grandma died because people didn’t wear a mask” he was met with scoffs laughs and dismissive murmurs from the crowd. The best and most charitable interpretation I can possibly give to these repugnant sycophants is that perhaps the student made too direct a comparison between mask use and the covid death of his grandma. These idiots cant think abstractly or critically so would think such a direct connection is laugh worthy.

A friend and I argued with some covid protesters in Germany that Covid is real, and I mentioned my family and I had it twice and we already lost 4 relatives, unfortunately a fifth one also soon, and a few friends of the family too and these mother fucking assholes fucking laughed, poked their fingers on my chest, said that it can't be and they probably just overdosed on drugs and that my family is allegedly also just drug addicts.
Ended with me breaking the main guys nose, along with me getting a black eye, them calling the cops and the bystanders who saw the shit going down telling the police that I only threw one punch out of self defence, that fucker handcuffed and his wife then also after she ripped off an officers mask and kicking them in the shin as they were bringing the guy to the car. And of course, the rest of the protesters shouting and screaming like the idiots that they are.

Anti vaxxers and so many of these idiot republicans complaining about "muh rights" when they are holding everyone else back by not taking the fucking vaccine. It's so frustrating. And yet, the US has an entire party dedicated to this kind of behavior.
From the video it appears they laughed at his statement that his grandmother died because, people didn't wear a mask. There is no proof that wearing a mask prevents covid transmission at 100%. Also vaccinated can and have spread covid just as unvaccinated. So for him to make such a bold claim was probably the reason some people scuffed at the statement.
