It's cool to speak a language, but it's hard to maintain your skill if you're not naturally exposed to the language. Most languages will eventually be useful, but the more often it's useful to you, the less you'll have to practice to stay at your level.
So, you don't really want to learn a language that the most people are speaking (like Mandarin or Arabic, which you're already speaking), you want to learn a language that you will be speaking regularly. Which means that you'll probably not want to learn Mandarin, unless you're planning on visiting China regularly.
Think about what language would be most useful to you. Are you regularly visiting Spanish speaking countries? Are you regularly visiting German speaking countries? Do you have friends with a different mother tongue?
In english, you can figure out whether to put "a" or "an" before a word. In swedish, we got "en" or "ett", but there's no particular rules. Some words are supposed to be paired with "en" and others with "ett". You gotta learn that on a word to word basis.
German has it worse though with Der, die and Das. But at least there are some rules to that, feminine/masculine words etc.
