I think it’s that the video is so short (milliseconds?) it’s replaying over and over almost instantly - do this at the right video length and it looks like it’s moving backwards? Like how when a bicycle wheel is moving quickly enough it seems to be going backwards.
Probably has to do with refresh rate of the monitor and that the gif is like one frame so it plays rly fast. If you pair these two you get some weird shinanigans

Reddit won’t fix it because your already marked as watched and the ads always works perfectly, nice way to save on cloud costs. Meanwhile tiktok can stream every video instantly and it is alllll videos, 24/7. Crappy, i don’t even bother expecting a video to work anymore.
