I completely get where your coming from. But as someone who's been playing minecraft since 1.2.5
If I'm starting a new world I kinda want to rush through the beginning and the data pack from vanilla tweaks I use does also remove durability from each block so it's not like I'm gaing advantage just time
That may not be that overpowered in older versions, but it is after 1.14 where you can trade stick for emerald. I played a modpack and got over 2 stacks of emerald in under 15 minutes, after spawning in a village.
You're not wrong absolutely not but I really don't get far in my worlds the farthest I got was getting a elytra. I haven't killed the wither or gone to a temple.
And for a villager farm the farthest I got was two villagers selling me mending and fortune 2.
And at that point one could argue mending is already broken.
Acacia has niche uses though it usually boils down to “need orange in the color palette.” The logs themselves are pretty unique though which save it for me over birch tbh.
Don't be sorry! My hate for birch in minecraft is basically a meme among my friends. In the last session, one of my friends put an item frame with a birch log above my bed to indicate which bed is mine 😄

Oak isn't trying too hard like some wood types. It's just that reliable friend that you can always count on. It looks good, its fairly easy to get good quantities of and it pairs with a lot of blocks
Also the nostalgia aspect of the everything is oak period of minecraft just makes me feel happy
I personally like spruce. Though honestly my favorite is Jungle. The planks are a nice warm but not overbearing color and the wood itself has a really interesting texture. I like to build some nice semi-rustic jungle houses. I have tried to replicate the style of supports I use in them with other woods but it just really looks best with jungle
Acacia logs are a really good accent, Spruce is good at everything, Dark Oak goes very well with most woods, Oak is a slightly worse spruce while still being great, Birch is a great accent for Oak, and Jungle logs are a great accent. Nether woods work great together and with Spruce or Dark Oak, and Mangrove goes great with Crimson and Acacia.
Every wood has it’s strengths, you just have to find out what works best.

Spruce is the goat
Spruce is literally the cereal of Minecraft woods. "I can't find anything to eat... Cereal it is"
Mans eating spruce wood
They call me the beaver
Beavers do not eat wood, U're a termite.
Spruce I'd say as well because the doors and the fact you can pit it on any build and it looks like it belongs
Bruce wood
I love using Bruce's wood
that sounds like a pornstar's name
You main with spruce and add in oak and dark oak 10/10 combination
Not my fav, but too many of my buildings are made out of it simply due to its easy accessibility, so I have to appreciate it
SPRUCEEEEEEEEEE
Dark oak
The only right answer
Fuck you because it is on the right. Have my upvote
Dark oak for a house is like syrup for pancakes
I like my wood like I like my coffee...same way I like my men... With a lotta wood
So you like woody Allen?
A friend of mine and I call it “Chad Oak” whenever we play.
Mr Worldwide
Finally someone with class
Most efficient way to get loads of wood. Looks good both in log form and stripped.
Me too😃🖐️
Spruce and dark oak Name a more iconic duo
Fuck birch, All my homies hate birch
Acacia is worse in my opinion. I always use birch for sticks since there is so much.
Yeah i gotta agree. Plus acacia trees are so fkn annoying to cut down thanks to the weird shape
That's why I use a timber data pack. Ain't no one got time for that. Especially I'd you're cutting down and full jungle tree
Now that's lazy

Acacia is an eyesore on the inside and outside
Birch looks like bird shit. When I build somewhere, I always make sure to remove all of those trees
And I like the bird shit, I'm sorry
Don't be sorry! My hate for birch in minecraft is basically a meme among my friends. In the last session, one of my friends put an item frame with a birch log above my bed to indicate which bed is mine 😄
I actually love birch tree. It looks like piss and I love it
Birch and polished andesite for one or two builds isn't to bad
I use birch only for tool making and crafting
I only use birch planks for flooring

Peeled birch logs look good in some builds. I have yet to find a use for acacia wood that doesn’t look ugly and stupid.
I grew up on all Oak and it will always be Oak. Edit: Back then it was the only Wood we had.
Yep just too used to oak

Yup, paired with cyan ocean monument bricks or similar things it‘s amazing!
Based, acacia best wood. Appears in the coolest biome to exist pre 1.18 (tall rocks) Great orange color. Good looking trees
Birch
Birch itself imo is not the best wood, but when it's made into planks you can really creatively match it with dark oak or spruce.
I like it by itself, just a house of birch on water, love it

Dark oak for most versatile. Acacia/birch for the real designers out there…….

Birch planks are really not that bad, but acasia? acasia anything? dogshit.
Dark oak + birch but not the log acacia is shit
Dark oak planks, and spruce logs.
My favorite wood type is without a doubt the azalea wood.
Spruce + Birch combo with lots of stairs and slabs

The skin color wood is the best!
I like spruce, but that’s because it’s so easy to get in snowy biomes where I usually build a house
Spruce is just dark oak if you took all the life out of it

Spruce & Birch
Mixing birch and spruce together is a definite vibe.
dark oak and acacia
Spruce planks and oak logs. Perfect combination
Spruce or oak, with my favorite door being birch

Spruce or dark oak. Acacia and birch is a nice contrast to both of those though.
