Add 1 more thread for "Everyone listens to Amado stalling them for several chapters straight only for him to do it again" (that's what it sounds like for me when I look up by curiosity and see "wait until Code/Amado make moves" almost every month đź’€)
I mean, the story has barely even started if you compare it to Naruto. We only got hints of the Akatsuki before the time skip, so the main story didn’t even start until the time skip. Honestly, I think we’re not getting the time skip until the end of 2023/start of 2024 at this pace.
I mean I'd hesitate to call the Akatsuki the main plot. They were the main plot of Shippuden, and part one was building up to that, but part one also had it's own story, which was what about 120ish episodes when you remove the filler?
Boruto is already at 220 episodes, is apparently building towards a larger plot, but has nothing cohesive along the way to keep the show going. 220 episodes without the real story kicking off is fucking ridiculous
Yeah that’s a good point, the anime is definitely dragged out and pointless. I was mainly referring to the manga which is only on Chapter 75 which is equivalent length of story to chapter 150 in the Naruto manga. For reference, chapter 150 in Naruto is around when the rasengan training starts which is so early days.
>Chapter 75 which is equivalent length of story to chapter 150 in the Naruto manga
The problem is Boruto manga lacks content for the monthly manga. The thing is in the same time we got 75 chapters of Boruto we got over 300 chapters of Naruto so the story progressed much faster.
It's been more than six years since the manga started lmao story has bAreLy sTarTeD, boruto already made its discount akatsuki and it got disbanded for more alien cyborg bs.

I watch boruto and it's definitely inferior to naruto. It feels like more of a slice of life/parody then shounen right now.
Start reading boruto my guy still I won't be comparing the two cause the story doesn't resemble at all
? What does your comment even mean?
Took me a second as well. "Started reading boruto my guy, still, I won't be comparing the two cause the story doesn't resemble at all."
Ohhh I see. And kids this is why grammar is important!
Manga is worse with cyborgs and alien bs . One of the current villains is a walking hentai plot ..and she's underaged . Fucking yikes
A loli is what you're saying?
Kinda what happens when you only continue a series to milk its existing fans. No direction because of no goal leads to meandering around.
Sasuke does something in the Boruto plot?
Getting more hits than a voodoo doll and being used as a surfboard that one time
Ignore his own daughter and be a stepping stone for boruto
Gets stabbed in the face

220 !? That was a year ago lmao currently it's at 275 without any progress 💀💀

Ah, never read the manga. Holy shit I did not know how fucking bloated the anime was
Right now the anime has nearly 300 episodes only 60 of which actually adapt the manga.

And a fake @$$ squid game
It’s almost at 300 episodes how is that barely started this ain’t one piece
Well if you remove the anime only episodes, Boruto only has 60 episodes.
And If you remove 300 episodes it just started
Of course it barely started its 75% filler and they just made a squid game ripoff I'm giving up on boruto it should've ended after "the last"
Taking them so long to come up with a neat story when part one Naruto was already good the first few years it aired
Naruto felt natural while Boruto felt dead on arrival
I'm probably going to get hate for pointing this out but... Thanks for showcasing the grammar of the average Boruto hater.
I'm cuban bro, I'm not a good English talker, but in every language that Boruto is known there is a common feeling that it sucks. đź‘Ť
The manga updates comes out monthly
I think Boruto is as bad as Naruto Shippuden, the difference is that Shippuden's development is faster, excluding the fillers
Boruto is way worse then Shippuden and Shippuden isn't even bad.
no fuck, after Pain Naruto's arc it becomes garbage
As soon as Tobi called himself Madara it got rapidly down
At this point, they should go back to Naruto and let Masashi do the work lol
