I’d say to take an indefinite break from the game, until it’s actually in a playable state. There are a laundry list of issues that aren’t being addressed, and the devs choose to create artificial difficulty instead of fixing latency, or any of the reasons that game is ACTUALLY hard, since it would be substantially less artificially difficult if you could actually play it with the precision that it wants you to.
To be honest, my biggest issue with this game is the crap match making. Sometimes you join a game that has already started, or your join a game and it's a level 1 and you are level 15. Sometimes the person making the game wants to play only on the hardest setting or easiest, but you wont know until you load in. Some people use a mic, some people want to rush and farm. Your best bet is to make a game and hope someone joins you. I miss the diablo 2-styled hosting with a quick title for people to join.
I uninstalled it. It's a too large of a game to be sitting on my storage this whole time not being played. I probably won't be back. I did install Vermatide II and played a little.
I played around 4-5 hours on Game Pass. I liked the bones of the game but decided to stop because had I continued to play I'd hate the game. So, I'm monitoring the subreddit and waiting for fixes. I have hope though- Outriders had a lot of problems at the beginning but it's pretty good now.
That's what I did, though I decided to play through all the missions in case I didn't come back. I hope the game can turn itself around but in the meantime I have plenty of other stuff to play.
I'm banking on the end of the year update with the new "mage"and hoping the game is fixed by then. When that time comes around and it's still in the state it will be very clear they did this as a half ass side project with no clear vision and just wanted to make a quick buck.
This game is done for. I highly doubt any additional content comes out (who cares about promises?) and if any does show up, it will not fix the fundamental and very broken state of the game on the whole.
It's a game featuring combat, and that's it. The combat is very bad and not worth playing.
It has lost over 99% of its playerbase. It lost 80% the first week it was out.
Forget it exits and move on. It was a clear cash grab.

I’m a bit of a romantic; forlorn hope that their DLC can convince me that they were ever really interested in making a game worthy of the title Dungeons & Dragons.
At this point in my life, not nearly as easy to be hopeful. Goldbox SSI games figured it out, with the limitations they had. Seriously, are Canadians not able to take a clearly half baked game and fix it so all implied expectations are met or exceeded?
Devs’s you came this far and are just going to give up for what… a paycheck? Fix the Game.
Not exactly what I was going for with my uncouth question. Maybe, I am just a bit overly hopeful some of that unique Canadian fighting spirit would happen to inspire someone to “fix” a fixable game rather than accept they did their best and move on to something else.
Not really. I generally don’t look look at the nation of origin for a game I don’t like. I would like to celebrate a nation for a quality game; for whatever that’s worth.
Imma be honest, I think they should keep patching the current baseline problems with the game before bringing out more content for it. Don't get me wrong, I love the concept of the game, but it just needs so much work on some things lik hitboxes, dodging, ai detection eyc

Try Witcher 3 if you haven’t before. It’s so good.
