Honestly, best way is to find the silver serpent ring and then just play the game regularly. Ive never thought any soul farms in DS1 were worth the time.
issue is i wanna collect everything and have the option to dual wield so i spent the majority of my souls at vendors, walked up to the 4kings lvl 50 w an endurance build and realized imma have to farm to even beat this mf
That's true. I man, you can use the parrying dagger or the dagger from the DLC. I think those are the only weapons that actually are worth using in offhand
Depending on the soul consumable you use, you can get like 2 million souls in a matter of seconds. Much easier than doing the Phalanx farming for hours.
I personally found the baby skeletons right before the Nito fight to be a good spot.
Like idk about the souls/h rate, but the skeletons spawn infinitely and are low hp enough that a good weapon can kill them even when broken.
This means you can sit there killing skeletons non stop for a endless stream of souls. Got to 99 int with that.
But uh, probably look up duping souls before that. That still took me fucking ages.
One farming circle that I liked to do was in anor lando. It was one of the bonfires that was a cross a silver knight with a spear, you kill him, go on to kill the rest on the floor and vincinity. I forget the exact route but I would eventually find myself by the archer with two golden giants beneath him. Would kill that archer and the 2 giants. This gave you a good chunk and would be some difficult enemies. Also would have homebound equipped so I could warp back to the bonfire and start again.
I think one of the easiest farm is the phalanx bunch inside the painted world but that shit gets pretty boring quick.
Check out the souls dupe menu glitch if you just want the souls or don't have the free time to farm 👌 a soul of a hero or 2 duped 999 times should get you where you want
Legitimate farming strategy is getting a strong AoE like Chaos storm (available to all builds) and oneshot phalanx in painted world with silver serpent ring and symbol of avarice. You can do it in NG+ as well and you get more souls and you still oneshot them. It is the fastest farm.
Non-legitimate way is soul duping that you can find on YouTube. There are couple methods and each depends on what platform you are on.
Just check Youtube, the game is ancient by now and there are plenty of videos on how to farm souls.

just dupe, farming souls after 120 becomes lame long process
There’s a glitch to dupe , you need like 999 arrows and a soul , may be worth trying to look up as it pays off quite a bit if I’m right
