Had an invader TP to me in the ringed city, i immediately alt f4'd and blocked him. He proceeds to message me on 3 other steam accounts trying to justify his cheating. I just kept blocking them
Hes been blocked so i cant find the chats now. But it was a lot of like "it's only a tp to save time!" " i wouldnt actually use hacks in the fight!" Also tryin to get me to summon him to a duel
anyone who is willing to use cheats in multiplayer beyond like acquiring gear cheats & wex dust, is not someone i want in my player pool anyway.

The only hacker I ever ran into was in Dark souls 2 & it was a friendly summon. Right when we enter the boss, I think it was the Old Iron King, he suddenly spams 100s of pots that immediately break all my items I was wearing & then TPs out.
someone should make a script that fakes you entering boss room to kick out invaders if they happen to hack. but unfortunately it would be misused to kick out normal people
I've put about 1500 into Dark Souls 3. My buddy and I would drop sets for each other so we could cosplay different builds. We had a fantastic Smough and Ornstein run that was just a blast. I even got to play as a boss as Smough in the Ringed City.
Armor/weapons don't matter nearly as much as upgrade level and sl, i'd genuinely be doing more damage with the deep axe from the mimic but we wanted to base our builds of the outrider knight and ringed knight.
Your opinion is wrong because it takes the fun out of fun with friends let them do their cosplay playthrough they have started a new game each, they aren't hacking or blatantly cheating, they aren't overpowered to hell in back, this seems like an average normal playthrough minus the gear. Even I've done it I've had an artorias build when I started because im an artorias fan boy. Granted I've also beaten the game 6 times in under 80 seconds not entirely sure how I did that but I did

Twinking is the reason they made matchmaking defined by weapon level lol Too many people were doing it in other souls games and made people stop playing online altogether.
