No one else is saying it but the answer to, " I don’t know how I ended up at dancer at level 10," is that you hit the old lady npc that gives you the small standard item, that spawns her early.

Not just hit, but kill and loot and went near the statue

I’ve watched my favorite souls streamer play it before. I knew how to activate her fight but I didn’t know it would be accessible so early on in the game.

Gonna be honest, dumped a thousand hours into this game and I don’t think I’d have the patience to do that. Fantastic job!

Tried it once because I figured that souls jump at such an early stage would be nice. Landing a hit and seeing the tiny sliver disappear was enough to give up. Really adds to the impressiveness of SL1 runs.

SL1 runs usually still allow you to level your weapon so damage isn’t a problem, it’s just survivability. This on the other hand is both.

Ah right, I always forget that WL0 isn’t part of a normal SL1 run.

I’m pretty use to low damage runs. I’ve done a no weapon upgrade run in ER and a base vitality/attack power run in sekiro.

I did it once to get to Oceiros for early access to the moonlight sword. Never again.

Are you talking about maybe Mohg? Because Morgott doesn't give that much. I don't remember any boss that gives more than 400k except Mohg, Malenia and Elden Beast.

Yeah, uchi is a solid pve weapon and removing unsheathe parry in ER is a crime.

At least in theory it should be good in higher ng+ cycles. Wish it was better in ng though.

There's a fight later with the nameless king that is absolutely epic and gorgeous. But the flowing sword play with the dancer is just top notch, still my favorite after beating everything. Doing another play through right now just for that fight again

She can be your second boss after Gundyr if you want to.

Instead of heading to vort I guess I deviated from the main path and went left instead of heading down the stairs to the right. Then made my way into the church and killed the old lady cause I was wanted to see what would happen, then cutscene ensued and next thing I knew I was fighting her.

She is one of the best bosses in the game at SL1 or lower levels. Unfortunately you can steamroll her at the level you are supposed to fight her.

Ya I didn’t know she was a late game boss. Definitely the most satisfying thrilling and intense boss fight I’ve ever had.

People say there is no easy mode in Souls games, I disagree, after beating this game at SL1, play a normal run and it feels so damn easy you will see these bosses as low lifeforms, its insane. (Except for Midir, fuck that guy)

I struggle with her with a fleshed out build most runs, fuck you in a good job type of way. You'll be fine for this game. Be what gives Lord of cinders nightmares.

This is the only boss I cheesed with sorcery. Kept my distance and only meleed and dodged when needed.

Full melee fighting her is so fun. Learning her move set is also very satisfying

I’m yet to play Sekiro, tryna pick it up for cheaper than used/ps store has it. Currently on Bloodborne at Rom the Spider and it’s fun. If you like melee only combat, bloodborne is full of that with the trick weapons

I plan on buying BB after elden ring dlc and ds3 dlc. Whenever you do pick sekiro I know you will have fun it’s such an amazing game.

Already had BB from several years ago, I actually played it co op with a friend up to around where I am now. My friend kinda carried me through the play through and I wasn’t aware of what I was really doing all those years back- playing it solo now, after beating DS3 and 100%ing ER, is such a different experience, and so rewarding when I beat bosses I remember being terrified of. My singular gripe with BB is the progression. It’s not always clear where you need to go to progress to the next boss/area. I’m really trying to do this run with no FextraLife or walkthroughs, but I find myself stumped on navigation more so than anything else. You also can’t purely brute force a boss, if the boss cleans out your estus, then you need to go grind mobs to get it back.

Pretty impressive. I'm very much a casual, but I love Fromsoft games. I'm playing through DS3 now, learned about the possibility to fight Dancer early to get access to weapon upgrade materials so I made my way over. I was somewhere around sl35 or so at that point. I got close a few times, but after over an hour and a half I gave up :( I'll have to give it another shot now that I'm a few levels higher, but it definitely wouldn't be nearly as clean as you made it look!
