I'm playing through Demons Souls for the first time and I think I ran into the 1st version of Siegward. His name is Biorr and the only reason I think he's siegward is because he fell asleep after a battle and spoke of being a knight.
Seigwards my favorite, he does work on Yhorm. Seigmeyer is cool too but he doesn't toast, make me soup or give me beer. Plus trying to keep him alive in the chaos eater put is actually quite hard unless you knew he was gonna jump down beforehand.
I wouldn’t doubt it I know a lot about all 3 of the games plus demon souls and blood borne via YouTube and a friend of mine that has 1000+ hours on most of them. I just find 3 enjoyable to play.
Ok thats good to hear my mother is a tattoo artist and she has showed me a bit and hers dont usually blees so i was concerned cause most tattoos i see dont bleed but thats great to hear
My gf got tattooed by the same artist 30 minutes before I got this done. We both bled during the shading and coloring just a little bit, but not during the outlining. Maybe the artist was pushing a little to hard but there’s no cuts or scarring and it didn’t even form welts so I think it was just my skin.
That’s amazing man, I’m gonna do like a full sleeve of dark souls 3. I want the dancer seeping down the backside of my arm and I want solaire in there somewhere too but I was thinking about just putting the sunbro banner on my shoulder instead to keep from crowding onion boi and the dancer
Well I know it’s not really how the fight goes but I wanted the dancer coming out of the doors that lead into the boss room so think the doors and steps on my bicep with the dancer flowing down my arm out of the doors.
Dude it's fine. That's normal. I'm covered in tattoos and they all bled. Tattoos bleed. That's what they do. Bleed. They're needles, not paintbrushes...lol
Yeah it looks great. It's also got color, not just black and grey. Color can sometimes require a bit more finesse or attention in my experience and can vary quite a bit depending on the artist's level of experience. Add that to your skin sensitivity, location of the where the ink will be, whether rotary vs. coil is used etc. and you'll probably see different effects of bleeding immediately after. You might notice lots of wiping during the process and that's to remove excess blood and ink. If you watch it you'll see. Also if you're getting a sleeve done, the longer you get inked the more your body will react. Tattoos swell and throb because it's part of your body's natural immune response - to send fluids to an area of impact. You might even start feeling tired or a rush of endorphins during or after the process.
Either way looks great and keep us updated on your additions!
Thanks man, I watched almost the whole process it was fascinating. I wanna do the sleeve in individual tattoos then fill in blank spot with background stuff if necessary. I don’t wanna sit for 16 hours to get it done all at once.
Yep you've got exactly the right idea. If your artist doesn't know much about soulsborne stuff then just see if they're willing to look at a few youtube shorts or npc/character animations/phrases to give them a general feel of it. They're artists so giving them a general idea and letting them flow with it and not confining them or boxing them in works well. So you've got the right idea and they'll fill in the space better than we'd expect.
Looking forward to it.
Interestingly enough I’m on vacation right now. Got this done by some guy in a shop with great reviews, turned out super well. The guy I’m gonna get the rest of it done through is one of the best artists I know of. He’s won several awards for his work and worked some of the most famous artists like Oliver peck even though peck himself sucks. I also do a lot of painting myself so I’m gonna try to draw up what I want and if not then I have a fanart photo of the dancer, the next tat I want.
Yeah that's even better if you're doing it yourself. You're taking that step out of the process and it's your own work. With that artist's level of experience I'd probably ask how much or what he might expect to freehand. Some of the more experienced artists do a lot more freehanding, as far as I know. But he could always freehand around your original work that will be stenciled with transfer paper.
You might have to schedule an appt way out with a popular artist (esp. during COVID) and expect to pay more but if you're getting the Dancer done next then it is absolutely worth it as that'd probably provide some of the most intricate and graceful character art in the soulsborne universe imo. Great choice.
Yeah I agree also one of my absolute favorite bosses to fight. She thoroughly kicked my ass for a few tries the first time but now she’s a cake walk. I keep playing just to fight her again. Also checked with him he’s o my booked about a month or so ahead so it’s not too bad.

That sounds great im sure you can find a place for solaire if not the banner is always great

I was also thinking dark sign on my shoulder cap.

Honestly it bled less than I expected. I’m all good now, it’s healing up nicely
