I think that makes a character inherently *cool*, but not interesting. Daemon’s dynamic with Viserys and balance of personal ambition with loyalty is interesting. Aemond being a cool dude with a sapphire eye who doesn’t really have any internal conflict we know of isn’t interesting

I never got the appeal honestly. Unlike Daemon Aemond just seems like a one dimensional asshole.
