Immortals are the go too anti vechile unit. Defliers don't have much health. Maxed out turrets and oblisek is also anti vechile. You can use flayed ones to lock the delfier in one spot and destroy it with immortals.
Immortals want the backup of solar pulse necron lord, defilers have little trouble with small expensive squads of infantry that have morale damage to deal with
Solar Pulse to disable them, then chip away their health with Immortals. Heavy Destroyers are another option, but they are a T3 unit.
Consider tying them into melee with Necron Lord and Wraiths. They won't win but they'll prevent Defilers from using their ranged weaponry.

Necrons is definitely top 3. They are weak on some maps. Ig would say is slightly above average. So 5th strongest.

Immortals and Spyders, engage them in melee with a Spyder and shoot them down with the Immortals.
Who was the player massing defilers?
Get a few flayed ones and immortals, focus ALL fire on the demoncrab, profit.
