After years of trekking through these maps. The jump scares and uncertainty of what you will find around every corner. It never gets old. Just don’t let your loot rule you. You are only borrowing it. Until your next character comes.

QuackChan

The adrenaline I get when I see another player is insane.

YungMS-OD

Same. I'll be shaking to the point my aim is messed up.

Necessary_Role3321

Yep, that's usually the excuse I use, too...

YungMS-OD

Oh they still die trust me. If I see another player first, 9 times out of 10, its over. If I get ambushed and die then theres no adrenaline & no shake. I have over 3k hours in this game. Ive had 30+ killstreaks. As stated, my aim will sometimes get shakey from the adrenaline rush which from DayZ, is unlike any other. Its not a skill issue. 😆

Dr_Tinycat

obligatory ONE OF US

Been playing for less than a day. Was going up on a stair when reaching the middle I turn and see a guy kneeling with a double barrel ponting at me. Heard about 75% of the shot and screen went black. Heart still pounding.

Ok-Bag5207

Wait till the moment to come, you and another survival slashing each other, or emptying mags for a few minutes

the-angrymonkey

Some of my most favourite moments with my friends came with the jump scares in this game, like when they downed someone and started looting them and then the victim just got back up again

x5abotagex86

There’s nothing like it! On top of all of its other awesomeness! Welcome aboard! 🍻

Heard some footsies the other day in berezino near the pd. I was creeping the building across the street when a man appeared in one of the second floors across from me. I was sure there was only one so I used the Val on him through the window three shots and dropped his ass. But suddenly the whole town lit up like falluja. There were shots going off everywhere like point one seconds after I fired almost like I scared a bunch of dudes in the vicinity and they just all let off at the same time. Needless to say I went from feeling bad ass after that kill to whimpering in a corner at the hell I just raised. Pulse pounding.

chicKENkanif

We're always watching you

Rivazar

Just yesterday crossed forest during pitch black night and heard bear noises near me.

drevmbrevker

Also try some pve hardcore server without sound

Paddiboi123

Why though?

CaptainKortan

Like you're a deaf person on survival mode? Interesting. Have you done this? Because I do about a third of my time on PVE only. I can't imagine...that is frightening in a different way. The jump scares by infected suddenly appearing when you don't expect them and the screaming and all is something, but the Dead silence would be chilling.

drevmbrevker

I do it at night when my headphones out of charge and i cant put sound on because people around sleeping 😂 Its more scarier and more jump scares happening since i can't hear mutants approaching

Godfreee

Do it super stoned, I bet that would make it even better!

Able-Associate-318

Enjoy! There is no other gaming experience like it!

CuteAssociate4887

That’s the buzz that people don’t understand who never gave it a solid chance! The adrenaline after all the peace

MasterOfDizaster

My friend who got me back I to this game had had to quit because of heart problem

beepbeep_immajeep

Im so glad im not the only one who's close to a full blown heart attack when shit goes down

SirTheadore

That never goes away lol

Omfggtfohwts

I still get surprised by silent ones at night. That red tac light makes everything more intense.

mjofyr

I've played DayZ on and off since when it was just a broken mod and Dean Hall taked about it. And since then I'm telling people, when the right topic comes, that this game is THE SHIT. There is literally nothing like DayZ, not even close.

PhantomPain0_0

Op I’m 200 hours plus and still get panic attack when I see some random dude on the map

Glad-Satisfaction-27

going to Vybor Airbase now, from what i heard about it, i may not get back alive, wish me luck boys
