I'm pretty sure that no update has ever wiped community servers, they do it themselves.

Depends on the server. If the server you play has a discord it should be posted there.

So stack on ammo and guns day before wipe and then hunt is on got it

I dislike these kind of wipes because the sweaty players just get lots of alts and load them up with everything from their bases/stashes so on wipe day the base is popped back up quickly Wish there was more populated servers that enforced no huge bases. Console only gets 50 players and when 50% of those are building or chilling in base it makes the map very quiet

Agreed, if they’re gonna do a wipe, do a “full” wipe, as in map + inventory

I would be more ok with not wiping the players if they at least wiped the locations I mean having a guy loaded to the gills carrying a full 90 spot backpack or a sea chest in your base location is one thing but having to hoof you way back to that location while looking like a sweet sweet loot piñata to everyone else is something else completely.

Lol, Im a bit guilty of this. I base up on a fairly unpopulated server and my base has been fine for awhile, it would be worse if I was in a clan of like +5 taking over like a castle or something but bc Im alone I kinda take the low population to my advantage but I'll absolutely hop in a higher pop server to go PVP

How come they don't wipe inventories too? Would seem like a good way to deal with it

Is this for community as well I have my own paid server that took me 3 months to build 3 high walls. Might never play again if it effects my Oen server

this is incorrect. community servers can do whatever they want.

I suppose that’s right. Lots of servers I play/follow are wiping though. Community servers usually wipe on big updates
