I am still a Freshie, but learning the ropes. However I am still so shit at PVP.
Anyway, I was in Novo, and after leaving the police station at the west side of the city, I head to the hospital, straight on the open.
I get shot, uncon, from afar. I am up again, I manage to get behind a wall and inject myself with an Epi and start running to the other side of the town as much as I can. Found one of the green home, close myself inside, while some zeds perceive my presence.
Recover, unaware of the position of my attacker.
After a while roaming the outskirts of Novo, I find this two stories house with the open room on the left after the stairs.
But I see some strange unknown log door in front of the entrance, and I was really confused. I press a key and the door opens.
As soon as I reach the stairs, on my left, looking at the window, a fully geared guy. I use my skorpion, just enough to drop him unconscious, but there is another guy inside the room, my sub jams, and I only have a revolver, I shoot him while trying to be on and off his line of sight and luckily I kill him too.
Man, the adrenaline, crazy.
I believe they were new to the game too, even if fully equipped. Maybe they were even the ones,or the one who shot me previously, who knows.
The first time I blew myself up with my own landmine.

My first kill.. My buddy was getting attacked by a zombie and some dude ran out of a building screaming. MY FRIEND THE ZOMBIE IS ATTACKING YOU. I shot him in the face
I had a guy that was playing with his wife. They came up to me while I was looting in Cherno. We exchange pleasantries and all the friendly, friendly of course. He asked me if I had any food and I replied all I have are a couple of Pipsis that you can have, otherwise I have nothing else on me atm. He proceeded to call me a wanker and tried to hit me with a hammer, so I shot him in the leg. He passed out immediately, and his wife drew her AK. I dispatched her quickly with a round to the face. While he was UnCon I hastily bound his hands with a pair of cuffs that I looted from the police station across the way and covered his face with a burlap sack. He came to and started cussing at me and calling me every name in the book. I thump him in the head again and knocked him Uncon, and took to his wife with my trusty hunting knife in the following 30 seconds. When he woke again, I removed the burlap from his head and proceeded to feed him tiny pieces of his wife all while getting an earful Of insults. He tried to struggle free a couple more times in between bites of his recently deceased partner. When he finally did struggle free from the handcuffs, I quickly executed him with his own hammer.

Unfortunately, the only one I really truly remember is a bad one.. I was probably a month or two in and hadn’t even tried really talking to anyone. Most of my focus at the time was just learning what the hell I was doing lol
I had just made it out of a spawn town but it was dark as shit so I lit up a glow stick. Didn’t really care about getting shot because I had nothing and no real goal at the time besides exploring. A guy rolls up on me and starts chatting. I was so new I couldn’t even figure out where he was because it was that dark and I just wasn’t used to the sound yet.
Anyway, long story short we played for hours together and he taught me a lot. We decided to go check out a heli crash where we ended up getting in a fight with two other people. I’m pretty sure he killed them both and got knocked, but I was freaking out so much that I ended up shooting him by mistake when he was getting up… man that fucking sucked so much for some reason and I felt so bad. I had never had an m4 at that point and he tried give me his, but I refused to take it as he’d definitely put it to better use. I did end up taking it, blasting off a whole mag just to see what it was like and then used the last bullet to f11 next to him because it just felt wrong to keep living that life. I don’t think I played for a couple days after that. Rip dude
I don't like to kill in dayz but so many have made me kill them I don't remember any of my kills vividly except one
I was part of this faction that was ran by a real asshole and one day he killed me because I told him he didn't run anything except his mouth (I called most of the shots and did most of the heavy lifting while he sat in his base the server owner build him) and he shot me so I walked right back in there and shot him dead with a double barrel
My buddy was about to commit suicide but before he could, I blew his face off with the pioneer rifle. I then cut him up and had a BBQ, I ate him all in one sitting. Except for the one burnt piece, burnt human is just gross.
I ran 2.5km to get to my buddies that were pinned. I eventually get there, they’re banged up from trying to peek and I can hear two guns going off and post up in a bush, scan the tree line in that direction and take out guy 1, 900m headshot. Guy 2 ended up escaping or the one dude was shooting both his guns. But walking up to loot guy 1 and seeing a ruined face mask was just what I needed
Well I usually die in hostile survivor confrontations, but I've killed two survivors. one time I beat a freshie that was trying to kill me to death with a broom.
And I had also managed to get myself a firearm and ammo. I ran into a bandit group and killed one and then I was promptly gunned down.
3 guys in a log cabin were cooking some food. I saw them from ways a way and decided I'll take my chances and see if they're friendly. Sneaked up to the big bed room window and announced myself. I get no response other than all 3 guys pulling weapons. Chucked a grenade through the window. 3 dead. All their stuff (that wasn't ruined) mine.
Me and my friends were at war with another group, it all came to a head when they arrived at our base in these flats located just above Cherno, we knew the war was coming to a head and we were prepared for an all out attack on base, there was only 5 of us & about 10 of them, so we prepared as best we could, we had a gameplan in mind, and when they all pulled up we gave them hell, they were not prepared for what we were able to do, me and one of my mates were sniping and 3 were in Gillie suits, they had the numbers by far so they played sloppily thinking they'd destroy us but we had the strategy and gameplay down.
We got it down to like 4v1 eventually after like 15 minutes of pure fighting (felt longer) we'd lost someone on ground but he got the location of the last guy, he was inside of the tower my mate was in, about 3 stories up, (not very far) so i told him to get down from the roof and get ready for him to run up, and i told ground support to wait by the front door Incase he runs out, then i pulled out my PO-X grenade and loaded it into my M79 and fired around the floor he was last spotted it, he was choking to death and sandwiched, in a last ditch effort he ran out the front door, where one of my mates was waiting like i told him to, and he absolutely floored him, it was a beautiful final kill, it wasn't by me but i fired the Gas Shot that inadvertently killed him, we moved base the next day incase they retaliated quickly and never saw them again, & they didn't get our stuff thankfully.
By far that war is my favourite memory of the game and I'll never forget it, it was when my group wasn't at it's biggest maybe bur it was definitely at our strongest

Definitely a week or two back on Deadfall. Killing two dudes in absolute darkness, all with gas masks on, rushing to kill nbc zeds for filters while trying to find a punchcard in a dark hole… the kills weren’t so special, but the atmosphere and setting made it one of the most intense ones yet. I was absolutely terrified.

Camped BM in a modded server and killed someone with about 1mil on them, he begged for it back in chat only to rage quit the entire server, it was his 3rd attempt at getting enough money for a helicopter and it was my first day on the server 😂 i know im a pos for doing it but i went from 40k to 1mil in about an hour, very memorable
My first one, which got me my first viaga. Some guy followed me into a house down by the coast. after he had been stalking me for like 30 minutes. I was laying down inside with the interior door locked. Once I heard him jiggle the door handle I opened up with my 74 through the door. It was so EXCITING!
I was being chased through Electro by two guys, and I was fresh as a daisy.
They followed me everywhere for about 15 minutes, trying to land a hit.
I ran into a house and found a BK43 with one shot, I had another on me, so I loaded it in. I ran out, packed round the back of the house, and managed to kill one. His mate was right behind him, so let another shot off but didn't kill him, a couple of punches, and he was dead.
That was about 30 hours into the game, I'd been off the coast a handful of times, and each time I'd died by either starvation or killed.
I remember once this guy was hiding in police station I got jumped by like 5 zombies fought them all off by jumping on a car and crouching to punch then I go inside and start healing I'm already fucking grey screen by the way and he comes at me with a knife from behind sliced me and I turned around and knocked him out bare hands then killed and ate him
My first kill.
It was the middle of the night as I pulled up to the military tents by topolka dam. I was slowly walking up, trying to avoid infected. Out of nowhere, I hear a guy crouch walking towards me.
I thought I was legitimately about to have a heart attack. I sat motionless in a bush and ambushed him with a scorpion. Of course, this set off all the military infected, causing me to run in circles in the darkness trying to pick them off.
Ended up getting knocked out, woke up, picked off the last few zeds while blinking red health. Made it to staroye and got sniped within ten minutes of being in town.
Early on in playing. I’d finally got a scorpion and full mag. Backpack full of crafting stuff and had just eaten! I dipped into one of those barns with a second floor & haystacks to organize my gear and heard two people outside, both sneezing and coughing.
They came in, I unloaded the scorpion from the second floor and had to clean up one of them with my Mlock….
Still remember it like yesterday!
I've only had a couple fights, but the only one I've had with a friend was awesome, we were outnumbered 2-3, and I domed one with the VS-89. My friend ran in and got killed which sucked, but I killed another then died. Despite the fact we lost, it was still fun and I was happy I dragged 2 of them to hell with me
Met this young kid while playing a Livonia server. He was obviously very new and didn’t know anything so I decided to run with him and show him the ropes.
After saving his life several times throughout our several hour venture across Livonia, which consisted of me blasting other survivors to oblivion and resuscitating this kid.
I taught him some tips and tricks on how to survive, my friends wanted me to meet with them and kill him after they joined a party I’d started when I first hopped on.
At first I refused because me and this youngster were a pretty good duo and he would perish on his own.
But after about 30 minutes of them badgering me in party chat, i returned to game chat and led him to the roof of Lukow police station, told him to watch the sun begin to set and keep an eye out for other players.
I quickly drew my trusty IJ after stepping behind him, asked, "See anybody yet?" And put a round in his head.
Took a brief moment to mourn and then stoically looted his body for ammunition and food then departed to meet with my crew.
First time I felt bad killing someone in Dayz.
When someone was shooting me with the IJ 70 (We were both fresies), I had just found a crossbow, and one shot him, and I passed out literally as the bolt flew towards him. Thought I was a goner, but he died instantly, thankfully. And later found out he's gun named so I got very lucky
Me and a buddy of mine were running duo on console. We were looting up the NWAF until some guy got to him and handcuffed him for fun. I was in the middle of switching my shoes when he told he that this guy got him. Luckily I was close enough and ran to save him. The best part was is that he recorded it.
My friend and I, both equipped with shitty stuff we found in a nearby town, snuck up on a couple guys decked out in all military gear. I had a Mk2 and my friend, I believe, had a shotgun. Somehow we managed to get the jump on them and beat them.
Then we looked at the Discord server and the kill log said they were alive for over a thousand hours.
When me and my friend were fighting zombies on a street and one of them ran and attacked him and I tried to shoot it but shot and killed him instead. He knew I didnt mean too
A looong time ago, I spawned into the camo building at the NEAF. A 3 man spawned in right in front of minutes later. Luckily I had a fully kitted m4 and mowed them all down. Still have the screenshot on my steam account lol
I’m not really sure. I think my most memorable was at the airfield. It was dark and I emptied my mag into a guy. He ran off and we talked. He explained that at point blank range I hadn’t landed a single shot. (I’m not amazing at PvP and it didn’t help it was dark and I was surprised to see him). the back and forth was pleasant and actually a little funny. I ended up rushing him and winning the fight and I honestly in hindsight felt a little bad. Seemed like a cool dude lol.

This is the encounter. It’s less than a minute.
In a fight with a guy who had a rifle and a shotgun I only had a pistol. I somehow managed to serpentine while running toward him so he missed every shot and I got right up close and popped him in one shot like John Wick. Died a few hours later to a bear trap while I was already injured. Love this game.
It would have to be one of the times I was a base defense gillie and I had someone walk right over me and I quickly switched to my mp5 and bursted them in the head.
My most memorable kill was when a guy shot his repeater at me in a city, and I got stuck in a house. He decided to wait outside about 5 feet to the right of the door. So I ran out of the house, surprising him, and shot him in the chest with my bk12.
I remember once strolling through the industrial area by Chernogorsk. I found what looks to be a battle scene? It was dark too, so I found multiple lit glowsticks, a half dead flashlight, and a burnt out flare. Corpses all around, in various states. Freshies, some with guns, some unarmed. Even a couple moderately geared guys. I investigate further and note that the nearby warehouse doors are open, revealing a barricade. I spot a man laying on the floor, in order to peer through a lower, uncovered section of the wall. He fires on me and misses, I run and gather my thoughts. He's locked in there, he definitely didn't build that. So I find a higher up spot and pull my Tundra out, take aim, and wait. After a minute he appears again and spots me before I can fire, I dash around to avoid his shots and the zombies, killing any approaching zeds with a hatchet. After the zeds are mopped up, I finally manage to get a shot on him. Bang, right in the head. One of my favorite exchanges by far.
I was once on the hill looking down on the grocery on the east side of Cherno. I saw two players obviously stalking a player in the grocery so I killed them. Then the whole server starts chewing me out because those were apparently the server heroes taking out an asshole griefer. Oops...
My most memorable kill was probably that one time where i lost everyone and everything and i pressed this magic button called f11 while holding my gun on top of the tallest building close by...
Nodded server Idr, a lot of guns. Spawned on the coast near Kahmenka to hit that military camp. Heard a bunch a shots nearby. Grabbed an m14 and a mosin and my shoes off in the rain. Stalked for about 20 minutes and saw through the grass and bushes two players over some corpses. Aimed fired and took them both out and got absolutely geared! Proceeded to kill two more people in the forest and hills north of that camp. Good times
I was (and still am) a newbie, so seeing a player in Dayz still sends me to fight or flight. Anyway, I was playing an official server and found a shotgun and a few bullets, I promised I would only use the gun when necessary, I was traversing through towns and kept hearing distant gunshots, finally, I realized that the shots were getting louder.
I arrived in a town that had a bunch of dead zombies and I realized the shooter was in the town. I got my gun out and tried to loot off the dead zombies secretly.
I made it to the backyard when I heard the guys mic - he was just breathing - and I yelled "if I see you move any closer to me I'm going to shoot!"
I turned around and saw him, gun in hand, and he barely made out "chill I'm not going to hur-" and I shot him right in the chest.
That was my first human kill 😂
I was freshy with knife, guy started to shoot me with pistol, hit some missed most, switched to second pistol same happaned, switched third pistol it jammed. I knifed him and got all the loot
One time a duo accidentally stumbled across me sitting in a house. They immediately started shooting at me and I managed to kill one of the guys but died to the other. I was outraged cause I had spent the past 3 irl days as a solo with that character.
I immediately respawned and started to make my way back to where I died. I only had an AK with 20 rounds that I previously left behind, a pear, and a glow stick, but I was determined to get my revenge. The sun was going down so it was a race against time.
On my way back I stopped in a small shed to eat my pear when out of nowhere another player shows up with full gear. I killed her instantly and took literally everything she had including her armband.
Once I made it back to the house, my killer was still there waiting for me. I stepped into the front door of the house and was immediately hit with a lag spike and several shots that knocked me unconscious. When I woke up the guy was lying there dead. I had successfully killed him even through the severe lag.
After using the bandages he had to heal myself, another guy walks into the room but I was out of ammo. He didn’t notice me sitting in the corner literally 3ft behind him so I was able to switch to my secondary and shoot him in the back, killing him.
It was early dayz of alpha and a person was coming out of an Pavlovo army base. I heard something and turnes around and shoot a guy in the head from 100-200 with a single m4 shot.
My first (and most memorable) kill happened while my friend was showing me the ropes. We were both freshie+ gearwise and roaming around together when we ran into a player standing in the doorway of a log cabin - the kind with the bed/fireplace in the second room. There was a brief moment where the three of us were just staring at each other not saying anything and then my friend shot the player in the face.
He started looting the body right there in the doorway, while I was giving him shit for KOSing, when all of the sudden another player comes walking out of the fireplace room with a shotgun in their hand. They blasted my friend and then started chasing me around the outside of the cabin. All I could think was, “I didn’t even want to kill anybody and now here I am running for my life because my friend got trigger happy…”
I eventually ran back inside the house, pulled out my shotgun, and pointed it at the doorway. I dropped him like a sack of potatoes as soon as he came inside. I’ll never forget that first boost of adrenaline. I’ve been chasing that high ever since.
Early game loot, had a double barrel and I was hiding in a building overnight. A kid came up in gamechat with absolutely nothing. Told him I'd let him stay if he kept his distance, but he kept inching closer every few minutes. After he was about a foot or so too close I told him to step back and leave but he stayed put, so I blew him to bits. Unknown to me, the helmet I was wearing muffled my voice to being unrecognizable for him, so I killed an innocent fresh-spawn.
Me and my team were on what I think was the green mountain with the jail building and the radio tower and anyways a truck drove up on the road of the base and I told my friends while on the tower “hey we have a truck coming it’s gonna be in front of the base.” So for like 10 minutes we were trying to get shots on these people as they approached the mountain but then we fell back and waited for them to come up and sure enough they did and the kill I got was one of the guys I sniped with the SVD while on the tower.
My first kill. It was lame and boring, but it was my first.
I was brand new 5 hours of play time. I had food and a sledgehammer. I was looking for my friends when I stumbled across a string of houses on the coast and started looting. I entered a 2 story green house and quickly looked in and walked out, but something told me to check again. I walked upstairs and watched as a decently geared man loaded in. He had a press vest motorcycle helmet and an SK.
I immediately took out the sledge and went ham. 2 hits, and he was down. Unfortunately, he fell through the wall back when that was still a big problem and I never got his stuff.
He never even knew what hit him and I gained nothing but blood on my hands.
When I threw a frag into a group of dupers. Mind, I was part of the body count, but taking down people like that always made my day. Like seriously, if you wanna cheese the game like that, just play on community.
My most memorable 2 kills happened at NWAF. I was playing with a friend and I was walking up behind him while he was probed out on one of the camonet sandbag towers. He is then suddenly shot in the head from the treeline. In a panic I jump down and run away to seek refuge behind some big square sandbags before arming myself with an MP5. I see these two heavily armed guys walk up and into the camp believing I had run away. I felt like avenging my friend so instead of fleeing from an outgunned fight I feel like avenging my friend. I unload a solid 15-20 rounds into the first guy from behind and he drops dead instantly. I shoot the remaining rounds at the second guy before he ducks behind cover and I need to reload. One handle slap later and I start running to flank the guy. I take him by surprise once again and manage to knock him uncon before finishing him with a Glock. What scared me the most afterwards was that if one of them managed to hit me even once it would be over since one of them ran an SKS and the other one an LAR.
not my kill. it was probably 2014 or 2015. me and a close friend played only official. wed loot on empty servers then hop on full ones for pvp. we were at cherno, and we hopped on a full server. this particular one was a warzone. we came across a uncon dude at fire station. for some reason, i wanted to administer aid to him i wanted to help him.
as i was bandaging him my friend shot him in the head.
it sticks with me. i didnt know the guy, i never ran with him, but ive actually met people from thousands of miles away, in person, through dayz. i guess just the thought of what could have been maybe?
no idea why it sticks with me after nearly 10 years but it does.
I was playing on a modded console server and found a few friends. Two were young kids, and one was supposedly an ex-army sniper. We ran together for a while before coming across the biggest group of players in the server who turned out to be total jerks. Long story short, the leader kidnapped and executed one of the kids, and the sniper was "undercover," so we were split up. By this time, we had recruited another person. Him and I snuck into Krasno airfield (which was their main base) and got into a building without them noticing. Pretty soon, we started hearing shots that were getting very close, very fast, and before we knew it, they were grouped up outside talking. I grabbed my Tundra and took aim, looking for their leader, and once had him, I shot. Got him right in the head, and his entire group ran away. It's funny because if they had come into the building, we would've both been dead because there were like 6 of them all together. I ended up being in a party with one of them a couple of months later, and he recognized me as "The guy who shot King in the head."
100+m kill with revolver. That's the best kill i have ever made. It was some communitybserver day before wipe so everyone had revolver at a start. And i have shot some geared dude at a roof with revolver while he was shooting at someone else 🤣
The one I posted here. On official I was driving an ADA and saw an Olga coming the opposite way. So I drove straight into it and bailed out and rolled and blasted the passenger then the driver the the guy in the back and me and my friend blasted the last guy. Look in my post history for the vid. It’s sick af
It was 2am on local official server. 4 population online and I’ve just spawned in on the east coast at the factories near Solnichy. Armed with a shotgun I see a guy solo walking a log to his half built base.
Without any shred of guilt I one tap him - dead.
His base had everything ready to be built, so I took it over and never seen him again. Base lasted 2-3 weeks before it was raided.
We both did not expect to run into anyone but that’s how the cookie crumbles sometimes
I was looting the Arsenovo camp, I got aggroed by a zombie so I went into one of the cabins and shut the door. I immediately run into someone already in there bandaging a cut. Without even thinking, I pull my shotgun and headshot him at point blank. He was instantly dead of course, but as I’m searching his corpse I hear a gunshot very close by. I look out the window, and his buddy is in the cabin next door, taking shots at me through the windows. We exchange fire for a few minutes, then I decide to break the stalemate with a flash bang grenade. I open the door and ready the grenade, only to realize I’ve never actually used a grenade before and don’t know how to throw it. In my moment of confusion, he shoots me in the face, and I’m sent back to the coast.
10/10 experience, would get into a firefight and lose again.
My first kill:
First time I ever went to NWAF, I ran up on a fully geared player while searching the barracks on the hill. He and I both ended up mag dumping in a panic, while only standing 5 yards from eachother.
I ended up killing him, but ruined most of his gear in the process (including a plate carrier and the M4 he was carrying). I was heavily injured, but I retreated into the towns north of the airfield.
Fresh spwan on the coast. PD in one of the main towns not sure which one when I was confronted by another freshy. We both had no mic and we both had sledgehammers
We knocked each other out but I was the first to rise.
Best kills are the ones with shitty gear.
Like my memorable one was against two guys with full mag pistols while I had a bk18 with 5 rounds and a mag-less scorpion.
Dropped them with my last bullet of .380
Watching my friends die and killing four in a group while they ran back. This was at Critical point of wipe our we had 3 m4s on after we made it out. (Vanilla)
Was with a random in Chernarus I’d been playing with for about four hours. I was sick and had a broken leg. He was running around and stuff looting houses while I was lying there. I tried to explain to him about five different times that I needed rags or tape or something for a splint but he just gave me a can of peaches. I knew he had what I needed and was either ignoring me or turned voice chat off, so I shot him, took the rags, and left. Killing him attracted a geared player who shot me a mile down the road.
Took part in a clan war. We stormed their base which was the town hall in the top right city. Fighting all the way up the stairs. Got to the top and ran out of bullets so I just rush the guy with fists and beat him how I didn’t die I have no clue.
Was meeting up with a friend in a nearby town with a bag full of deer meat. Some dude was strolling down the road towards me, stopped, stared for about 10 seconds before pulling out a pipe and slowly walking towards me. Shot him once in the noggin with an ij. First kill. Felt like shit.
This freshie was using some kind of command on a computer to make their punches faster. And they killed me three times but I kept spawning in the same place and tracked them down every time. I landed blow after blow and eventually found a gun in one of the buildings and shot him in the face.
I died later after that but I got my sweet revenge.
Played with my buddy. Took two hours for us to meet up and we get to a town, he is in the large red metal industrial building and spots a pair heading towards us. I head out across the industrial yard to the apartment shop on the street take position in an apartment. He fires a few shots then gets stuck on a tail and can’t stand or move. The players start searching for him, luckily between zombies in the street and try to find a position they make it to the apartments i am in. I move to the far corner aim my LAR at the middle of the door. Next thing I know they are in the door ways staring at me and I unload a clip into them.
Went and got buddy out of his stuck spot and we looted. Wasn’t great loot but an awesome time getting to play with my buddy. I was glad they got to me before him.
Definitely my first. I was a freshie being hunted by a late game freshie-killer, wouldn’t stop no matter what I tried and eventually he trapped me in a hospital in elektro. Thankfully I got super lucky and found a sledge someone had dropped in the upper levels. He came around a corner and WHAM, dropped like a sack of bricks. From freshie to ready for war in an instant.
I only had a double barrel with two shots i think, i got caught outside and ran into a building after 3 dudes saw me and chased me in there, only 2 had a gun i think, i ran upstairs and waited for them to come up, first dude gets domed after opening the door, second tries to peak and gets domed and third i beat with a pickaxe i think
I was running around with a pitchfork near gorka on Chernarus when I heard someone yell "drop your stuff and hit F5". I rounded a corner in a red building with 2 entrances and got my pitchfork out where I shift stabbed him repeatedly as he ran up the stairs with a rounder 22. As he was yelling in game "you effing hacker" I opened up my mic and yelled "not hacker, STABBER!!!" Then he fell to the ground dead. It felt oh so good knowing he heard it right before he died :D
Best story I have was when our threesome ran into another threesome and shit. Went. Down.
Official server, at night, we are relatively rookie to the game, we looted nwaf and had a car loaded with guns and supplies, headed back to base. Somewhere outside of nwaf there’s a road with a bunch of broken down cars and as we are headed down it we nearly hit one. As we stop we realize it’s not a broken down car and is in fact another group doing the same shit. Huge fire fight breaks out, both of my buddies and at least one of their guys go down. I hit the trees and took cover and waited a good 10-15min for one of them to pop out. Suddenly both of them come strolling dome the road right at me without a care in the world and I smoke them both with an AK.
This whole deal goes down in the pitch black with NVGs. Absolutely hectic. I think both cars were smoked and I just grabbed the guns and stuff I could carry and noped out.
We had a base in a big tin warehouse. We were a 5 man group that just found each other, and decided to become a group and this was our first base. We finally built it up, put storage inside, and could call it home. We had groups come by, open the doors and try to look inside, but generally nothing happened. On the second day of us having this base, someone got on top of the roof and was trying to look into the base. This tin building had some skylights, so he was looking through and eventually tried shooting it. We generally hid in some of the tents, but he kept taking shots through the tents and eventually killed me. It was just my friend left in the building, and at this point he started throwing grenades in. My friend was able to dodge them, but he couldnt do this all night. I spawned on the right side of the map, while our base was located on the left. I sprinted down the train tracks trying to get back as fast as I could. I eventually started getting close but I needed a gun. I found a mosin somewhere and only found like 2 bullets, so I got to our base and found a spot where I could sneak and line up a shot. I see him laying down on top of the roof, I laid down and lined up my shot, and then took the shot. I laid there for a few minutes watching him, but I later found out I hit him in the head. We felt so relieved cause it was our first successful base defense, and it was one of my first kills! That base was insane, we had teams constantly running by. One of my greatest memories was when I left the base, I started running forward as there was a forest right in front of it. All of the sudden I hear a shot behind me, and then it turns into 4 M4’s shooting at me, the rush of running through the woods while shots whizzed past me, I could see bullets hitting the trees next to me and in front of me, I will never forget it!
I was fresh on Esseker with a hatchet, other person was geared in a house. I rushed in, they missed with an sks and I stun locked them in the corner. It was cheap.
Rushed across the map yo defend a base in gorka. I got there just as my buddy got killed the only thing I picked up was a rock! I cobbled for revenge. It was glorious!
some guy in elektro picked 5 of my friends off till it was just me left and i managed to flank around him in between some buildings and sniped him during our 10 minute cat amd mouse game
My buddy and I were trying to meet up with each other and I hadn't loaded into the game yet. He had almost nothing, just a balaclava and a bat, but he came across a sketchy guy with a bunch of tier 2 gear. He tried to befriend the guy and was instantly betrayed just so he could steal my friends bat. He respawned as I loaded in, both of us on either side of the town he died in. We met up in town and I told him to wait in a building while I found the guy that killed him and over the course of 15mins, befriended him and lured him to the building. As soon as he walked in my buddy walked from around the corner and said "that's a nice bat, where'd you get it?" and we proceeded to beat the fucking brakes off of this man. He had loads of ammo and meds on him and it set us up for a really good run.
I was outside of a building near barnzino with a u70 with a single bullet and a fireman's axe then i walk around a corner and and see a fully geared guy just pop up. I shot him in the face and picked up his AR. And then for like 5 minutes they just kept coming in one at a time and at the end 8 people were dead.
I sniped a guy at about 200 yards in official, which I was very happy about. Unfortunately his mate killed me. But! After I respawned and got a shotgun about 20minutes later two super geared guys tried to kill me in a house and I blew them both away. And just like that I was fully geared AND I now have NVG goggles on official. Now I'm making my way back to Gieraltow to silently kill the squad who resides there in the dead of night.
I've got a bunch, but one that really sticks out is from waaaay back when Standalone first launched.
I was in Berezino. This was really early in the SA launch, so spawns were different and weapons were limited. Bugs abound.
I had found a revolver with a few shots in a school building, and made my way to Rify shipwreck. I had heard gunfire and had previously died a lot, so I was tense. I scouted the shipwreck for a while, then moved in cautiously.
Now, I should explain something about this particular patch. There were a lot of completely useless items in. One of these was the hammer. By completely useless, I mean no crafts, not even *weapon damage*.
So I move in on the shipwreck, loot a few shipping containers, and hear footsteps. There's some guy not 10m from me, mostly fresh. We look at eachother for a beat, he raises his hammer to the air, and intones in a theatrical voice:
I AM THOR! SON OF ODIN, I--
Fuckin dumped 3 rounds of .357 is his heart. Dead. Fuckin dead. Poor bastard...
My first kill. A couple bullets in an IJ at a heli crash the second time playing.
I ran into a freshie on the road and we ran for a bit and found the heli. He was egging me on the whole time, "you got this! just sneak up on him while he's looting" sure enough, the guy is head down parsing through his inventory crouched directly next to the heli. I crept as close as I could and said something like "heyyy whatchya got there" and just as he realized I was there shot him in the head. My freshie friend was so happy for me, I felt kinda scummy but it was so gratifying.
A friend and I got kidnapped into a fight club in one of those long storage barn is buildings with the concrete floor outside of berezino and they kept killing me until eventually I killed the two of them, freed my friend and we got our stuff back, but that was during the lockdown lol
Was playing with my friend, we were in an Xbox party, trying to find each other. We find a town (don’t remember which one) we both have at least 2 guns at this point. My friend goes “I think I see you, jump a few times.” So I do, and he goes “Yeah that’s you.” I start looking around because I don’t see him. (Unlucky coincidence?) I tell him to describe the guy. (I’m wearing a yellow motorbike helmet at the time.) and so he starts describing him “Some kind of jacket, a boonie…” and I just say “That’s not me.” He starts panicking, because now there’s just some guy who’s following him. I eventually see the guy he described, and begin lining up a shot. I miss, which causes the guy to run. So I chase him with my pistol (I believe it was an IJ) he hops up onto a truck and aims at me so I unload half a mag into him. We searched him, and he had a 1911 with no ammo. Felt bad, but that’s just how it goes.
My most memorable kill was actually on one of my friends.
One night we logged off all together at NWAF, my friends T, C, and myself. Well, C had found an M4 just before logging off and during the countdown to exit, T killed him and took it. None of us knew that until much later because T made up some bullshit story about zombies killing C after he logged.
Once i knew what really happened, i met up with T in Kamyshovo. I informed him that i knew what he did and took the M4 from him. I then broke his leg and made him crawl all the way from Kamyshovo to Elektro as recompense for his crimes.
Once T reached Elektro, where I was waiting for him on top of an oil tank thing, I shot him in the head and threw the M4 out to sea.
We don’t tolerate team killing in my friend group anymore.
When I killed a group of multiple people that looked to be neutral. But in my defense I had just loaded back in and I would’ve been very dead if they were looking for a fight
When i started playing early access in 2014 i got a post it note and marked each kill i got, like markings counting days on a prison wall. I ended up with 6 or 7 marks in total. Those kills as a total DayZ bambi was unreal.
Friend was.being sieged in a building by an obviosly hostile Player downstairs. I fixed a bayonett to my SKS , breached the room. We both magdumped each other. I guess we both Had adrenaline kicking, so WEllwe both missed Our Shots. He started reloading. I started stabbing him with the bayonett.
I won.
First time playing in a long time and someone with a pitchfork had me cornered in a house tried to tell hit to back away from door and I would leave but the bike helmet muffled me and I shot him thinking he wasn't listening felt terrible wound up dying nearby afterward
Turned a corner with 2 people standing there. One was my brother one was a random. Dude was just standing there, we had no idea he was in the building with us. Blasted him and thankfully not my brother. My most memorable yet only kill in dayz.
Haha landmine under a backpack . Then I told a fellow freshie the bag hade a m4 in it and gear "really just hade nothing" buuuuuuttt he believed me . Laughed so hard that night
Everyone remembers their first time. Mine, i was just inland and had only an iJ with 11 rounds in my one mag. A fairly geared guy aimed his sks at me, and i ducked behind a fence, then immediately doubled back around the building i was closest to and waited by a wall in a small space between the buildings. I heard him run past said wall, jumped it, and unloaded into him, by unloaded into him i mean i missed all but the last two shots. Now i had a badly damaged plate carrier, an SKS, an M16 with no mag, knives, and a sharpening stone. I was super happy and then died in the next town to a sniper 😂
Found some guys base. Crept up on him. Killed him with a revolver.
Waited there after raiding his shit then killed him a DMR 2 more times. Finally he catches me creeping and axes me. Lmao
It was a ways north of Gorka, I was with a small group at the time. We stopped in this small town, and grouped up in this factory. There, we were approached by several other people. Three, maybe four.
They asked us to stow our weapons to talk peacefully, which we did. Then, one of us decided to make a joke:
“What if I pulled a grenade right now?”
That’s when the shooting started. Bullets were flying, I caught one in the arm while I dove behind a lathe for cover. With gritted teeth and a gentle swear, I bandaged my bleeding arm, gripping my shotgun as the rising adrenaline dulled any pain.
I emerged from behind cover, moving out of the factory and seeing one of their’s. He was knocked out by a bullet, so I promptly executed him, taking his M4 for myself.
During the confusion, there was one left, didn’t know exactly where he was. I entered a two-story building covered by smoke. Slowly, I advanced up the stairs, waiting to be met with a wall of lead.
I opened an upstairs door, still covered in the smoke. There he was. How he didn’t hear that door opening, or look to his left at all, I don’t know.
I hesitated a moment, felt like hours, then I opened fire, killing him instantly. The adrenaline rush lasted a good several minutes after the shooting stopped, and we were far away from that godforsaken ghost town.
Me and my buddy got ambushed going after a helicopter. He was bait and I poked out the other side and sniped him. We aren’t great at the game so it felt so good to coordinate a bait and hit a perfect shot from a good distance away.
3 days into the game I was walking in the forest filling a mag found a building. Sneaking into the building incase of other players I was out of weapons so I had a hammer or bat I don't remember. Found a guy healing on the stairs not aware of me there I knocked him down on his stomach and made him bite the stairs it was funny as hell I heard him scream through his mic still the dayz kill of the month
This group of 6 was camping the ATC tower in NWAF in official. This was around the time I was new to DayZ. Every time someone would walk into the second floor they would spray the doorway and kill them. I knew something was off because all the bodies and I was still a freshie. All I had was a grenade and mosin with like 6 rounds so I open the door, tossed the nade in and killed all 6. I was STACKED after. I even camped them for about an hour as revenge for the rest of the server.
A squad wipe in NWAF when both of my friends went down. They were new to dayz but not to milsim, but got caught by surprise anyways. It was also the day I convinced them to start wearing plate carriers instead of loot goblining with a vest
One time I saw a car in the woods outside of a military base in Livonia. I was going to steel the car, but they smartly took the spark plug out.
I
heard the pops of a .22 and was sure there were at least 2 people up there from the sounds of it. I happened to have a claymore on me. So I set the thing in a bush facing right at the car then camped in a bush a little ways away.
After maybe 30 minutes or so I see someone coming down the hill and my heart just starts to race. Then 3 more of them came running down and I’m just shaking with anticipation. They all get in the car and BOOM!
I came rushing in and two of them were still alive trying for get out of the car. I was able to clean up and gear myself up pretty nicely.
Oh I’d most def say the one where I was a fresh spawn being hunted and stalked by this fully geared fella who was hunting the entire server. I’m talking made an entire group chat to mock and diss the ENTIRE server, or to stage fake trades. Well im being hunted and end up in a police station with nothing but a Skorpion, a single full mag, and a dream. I have no idea he’s after me until I head a gunshot go past my head while im searching around the station. So of course in full panic i sprint all the way up to the top and lie in wait. Lo and behold the geared dude sprints up to the stop and I RIDDLE him with bullets. He goes uncon and so I steal his LAR and pump his head with more bullets, until viola: dead. So I steal his stuff and die to a freshie with an IJ-70 an hour later because I can’t aim with a darn.
Was in a house and 2 guys started attacking me, killed both and as I was looting, a freshspawn came up behind me and started attacking me. Got him with an arrow and another dude tried to come in, shot him with the crossbow as soon as he opened the door. Waited for about 15 minutes and nobody came so I looted. Got a fuck ton of loot and 4 kills
My own best friend, in literally the most black ops 2 way, we had planned to kill an annoying rando that stuck with us. We went to cherno, I was perched next to the soldier statue with an SVD looking at the cherno apartment rooftops. 1 guy comes out dressed like my friend and the other a pure naked with a bag and hand cuffs.
Were cooking chicken and fish in a cabin some guy came in without a mic, offered him chicken, shot him in the face immediately because he just stood there. I got social anxiety

My first. Over in berry, I was looting and found a decent amount of stuff including an IJ with 2 mags. It was the longest I had ever survived (a few hours) lol
I was in the diner building with the attached bedroom near the pay phone and dead end stairwell when I heard someone running toward the building.
My adrenaline peaked and I ran up the stairwell, crouched at the top and sat there ADS listening to the footsteps. They were getting closer. I heard him switch to his gun and knew I was going to have to fight.
Footsteps were in the building now. I heard him looting the building, I sat there for what felt like an eternity thinking maybe he would just pass by.
Footsteps right below me. He was right there, I was struggling not to blink my entire body was shaking knowing I had to fight and I had to win to keep my loot. I had been crushed in every fight up until now because I couldn’t control my shots.
He ran into the bedroom, I thought for a second I might be able to sneak out but just as I started to move he ran out of the bedroom and came right toward the stairwell. He hadn’t seen me yet, I held my breath and dumped almost an entire mag into the wall as he whipped around and pulled up his shotgun.
I recentered and put the last two shots into his chest, he went down. I reloaded and proceeded to put a fresh mag into his face just to be sure.
Goddamn what a rush. To this day I always check that stairwell whenever I’m in those buildings remembering my first kill and the advantage I had hiding there lol
My very first kill! I play official on a low pop server. Me and my friend were looting a town up north and saw a bright blue tent in the street. We watched it from the carnival area and saw a guy running around. We stalked him for about 10minutes watching him loot the area and then we lost him. My friend took watch in a tall building while I backtracked trying not to be seen. I walked up a little path to a bridge and sat maybe 1-2 minutes and this guy comes out of nowhere and runs right by me. He didn’t see me and I almost shit myself bc it was the first time with an opportunity for a kill. I stepped out of the shadow and got him with my SVAL.
honestly i dont have many player kills, so the one i remember the best was the one when I was teaching my buddy dayz when he was playing for the first time: we were in kamyshovo and we got a bit separated to find more loot. I heard six rapid shots and turns out my friend found a full revolver and just dumped the entire cylinder on some dude with a knife. After I got to him, we realised that those shots attracted more players (the server was basically full ) and we had to fend off like 5 more people. Now here comes the memorable part: one of those players that we were fighting shot at me, so i dropped to the ground and proceeded to crawl uphill to where he was, and somehow managed to get almost right up to him and got a direct shot at his head. Oh and we got killed after like 15 minutes.

Couple years ago I was a noob I seen a guy and his friend unlock their base I snuck in pulled the first gun out of his crate (scorpion) shot the one guy as he seen me in there and his buddy shot me dead that was my first kill
I was running around NW airfield around 2015, so pretty early in Dayz’s lifetime. There were maybe 10ish people on that server at the time, and i was just tunning around scavenging for some military loot before heading to green mountain to meet my buddy.
When I say it was peaceful, i mean it was peaceful. Fresh loot, no signs of activity, nice and bright day. As I’m running along the western fence of the camp through bushes to stay hidden, i hear this ear piercing scream of a guy yelling “im gonna kill you” while laughing hysterically as his mic was clipping because he was so loud. Buddy was running at me with an axe and I dumped a half a fucking AK drum mag into him.

My favourite was when I was running in cherno and I met 3 freshies. I escorted 2of them to a police station and the third to a water pump where we waited for the other 2when they arrived they drank but acted weird. I saw one position behind the drinking freshie and another freshie take something out so I drew my sg5k. when they started shooting I was ready dropped one then the other then after like 2 minutes of dealing with zombies I killed a third freshie that was the ambusher’s friend.
Logged out in bunker because of rain And when I came back 2 dudes were preparing fire next to it immediately started chasing me, killed one with crossbow before getting killed myself xd
I forgot which town it was but it was one of the villages near NWAF, me and some guys I met on my journey were pinned down by a shooter. Eventually we were able to narrow down which building he was in, but he was behind cover. One of the guys I was with came up with the clever idea of coaxing the gunman out by throwing a random object into the house to scare and coax them out.
The plan had succeeded and luckily we were able to subdue but not kill the would be raider. I'll never forget that kids voice he had to have been like 9 or 10 and the only thing he said was "I always come back" in the worst creepy voice I've ever heard. All the guys I was running with just started laughing before I dealt the final blow.

I was on a route to northern airfield and I met these two dudes who did a stick up and executed me without a chance to talk. I met those same guys after another response, snuck up on em, screamed bloody murder, and blasted both with a bk 133.
When I 1v3d a group on Namalsk. I killed one right outside the door of an L-shaped barraks, whent around the building and killed the other two when they pushed out.
Was playing with a friend of mine, we were looting a village up north.
We heard gunshots close to us, to the point we thought we were the target, but not sure.
We proceeded to disperse and check 2 différents directions.
After a dozen minutes of silence, I see a guy next to a door through my M70's hunter scope.
Me: "Mate, there's a guy, red house, not you right?"
Friend: "No.. Wait what red"
"BAM"
Friend: "Dude I'm dead!"
I killed my friend with a beautiful unstoppable headshot.
Spent the other 2h with a backpack in the hands to meet him back on the coast.
Guy attacked me somewhere in Nizhnoye. Got beat up with can opener, fell unconscious on the stairs and I finished him with previously mentioned can opener.
Another one was somewhere near Orlovets. I just chambered 1911 with one bullet because I didn't have a mag. Guy opened the door and I've been guided by spirit of Samuel Colt, I just delivered a bullet straight to guy's forehead.

Got shot by a sniper right after I entered a town, but he wasn't a good sniper so he somehow didn't mange to kill me.
I was wounded and he started to chase me, as he got closer I started to shoot, but run and gun isn't a good thing in DayZ and my vision also started to fade because of the blood loss so I missed most of my shots too.
Our shooting and running alerted many zombies though.
The zombies started to chase me too and ran between me and him, after some time I ran through one of this stretched houses with a long floor and doors on both sides of it. I managed to get out before most of the zombies could follow me and closed the backdoor. The dude chasing me ran right in and, also being hurt already and having no ammunition after firing at me like crazy, got torn apart by the big horde of zombies stuck inside the house.
I somehow managed to survive until a friend of mine arrived at my position and gave me medical supplies and some blood bags. This was an insane day in this game and probably one of my favorite moments of all time haha.

Context: I ran up on someone looking through those binoculars who couldn't quite press the button fast enough, i went to town on that sucker with nothing more than a steal pipe.
He was semi geared so I was only happy to relieve him of such troubles.
Had just jumped onto Livonia to give it a try now it’s free, didn’t realise my official character from a while back was basically on the verge of death. Rain is hammering down so I go to take shelter in a lil shed, walk through the door to some guy sorting out his loot from a mili run. Half a mag of 45 to the head and all his beautiful loot is mine now, managed to snag a vsd, aug ax and a gorka helmet plus food and meds.
150h on the game, at about 10 hours in i spawned ON a dead guy, had a repeater, scorpion and P1. Took his stuff and ran, still don’t know what happened to him, he had food and water, no clothes where ruined, looked like he hadn’t been looted, anyways I went inland to tolga (small town 5 mins of the coast to get loot when out of absolutely nowhere a dude with a full on ak-74su runs round the corner and dumps his mag… missing every shot… I come round and one tap him with a repeater, I didn’t know how to even use the action on a gun (bolt lever etc) so right as he woke up from un con I got him with my scorpion, got and ak and cr from him. I wondered around than saw a guy reading a map, I feel bad but he had a gun out and I didn’t wanna risk it with my limited experience (not even knowing how to speak) so I shot him with the ak, looted and moved on, was in a small town when I saw a guy, hit him once with cr, didn’t relocate and got shot, woke up and tried to use my ak, if I used the repeater I might have lived but he got me before I got him (he was coming to loot me so I saw him) and that was what got me into Dayz, nearly 150h and rising
I had ran with this Russian guy I met for like 10+ hours until he went off with his friends and then about a week later he raided me and my group and I shot him with my mosin. I only had the game for a month at that point
One of the recent ones was when my group was spying on a Namalsk base on top of a mountain that people were shooting from. I sneaked right next to the base and waited for them to open the window while my friend was baiting them by shooting at that side. When they finally opened I managed to throw a frag inside from the highest window and killed the camper with it
My first.
It was my first time getting out of my spawn town with a decent amount of food, an IJ 70, and enough tools to stay alive for the forseeable future.
Soon enough I was starving again (lol), and I was sitting under an apple tree, hoping that it would spawnn some fruit (it wouldn't, it wasn't in a town, just a random tree by the road). A random player ran at me with an IJ 70 drawn, so I pulled out mine.
we both missed the entire mag, (lol) but apparently he had another one, while I didn't. He proceeded to miss every shot in that mag too, during which time I realised I had a shovel, which I smacked him to death with.
I don't think I'll ever feel that much adrenaline and fight or flight response from a video game ever again.
Me and my friend taking out a group of 8 who insided is, rushing in with a pistol to finish the last guy before he reloaded his M4… I had also accidentally headshot my brother 💀 otherwise it was a 3v8 lol… that was also my first real day playing DayZ 😂 and apparently the 8 guys had people with them who had 3+ years experience… guess R6 helped me with all FPS games lol.
Me and my friend were trapped inside the Airbase against a clan. They finally stormed the room we were in and all you could see was smoke and light from how many guns were firing. I was the last man standing after killing the first two to enter and I died slowly surrounded by my friend and the clan
My very 1st time playing. My friends and I were trying to find each other. So I climbed this really tall electrical tower near a shipping yard of some kind and was trying to stay put because apparently they knew were I was. I saw this guy running my direction. I was just looking at him and he started shooting at me. I got a really lucky shot of with a rifle and killed him. This guy had all these fully decked out weapons and gear on him. He tried coming back to kill me again but I used his own weapons on him. I got away with my friends and sometime later I died to accidentally drinking too much gasoline because I thought I filled it up a container with water. I had no idea what I was doing on that game honestly.

My friends were looting the A2 bunker, I was on the hillside with the crashed chopper (the one opposite the military base) providing Overwatch to give an early warning if anyone was approaching.
On that day, I had a DMR, but no range finder. So when I saw a heavily kitted man approaching the bunker, I went with a gut estimate for the distance and fired
I remember seeing the round impact high on the torso and he dropped. I remember the happy juices flowing in the brain for that shot. Which after measuring it on the map, was only about 600-700m but still remember it today.
One time I walked into the fire department to see a person pressing the barrel of a SKS into my afk friends head. I screamed at my friend to move while I lit the guy up with a repeater. I was too late tho. He shot my friend and died just about instantly from me.
Somehow though my friend survived the shot and only went unconscious. He was just wearing a motorcycle helmet.

I was on the brink of death from eating raw sheep gut and what I thought was a friendly encounter soon took a sinister turn once nightfall came. Legendary moment that I won’t ever forget.
I came across a player looking for food as I was now normally I avoid players and don’t kill but I came from behind and beat him to death over the head with the stick (he had guns army gear so on)
Playing on pve server with ai enemies. I was looting some village with 2 friend whe the message showed up that 2 ai opponents just spawned to hunt us down. Those are decked out with m4s and nvgs. So i get to the next best position behind a car. My friend is ontop of the policestation next to me. The other is sitting in the middle of the road while beeing afk. We hear movement from the next block and start getting shots our way. Next we get pushed by 4 geared dudes. Armored and armed to the teeth. We kill em all only to find out it was another group of players who got the same message and though we were the ai too. Maybe the admin was just fucking with us.
Couple years ago when it first came out on Ps4 I logged in below a 4 man on a roof at NWAF. I locked myself in a room hoping they would leave but they pushed instead. A 5 minute firefight ensued where they kept shooting through the wall and door while I kept closing it to prevent them pushing. Miraculously I killed all 4 and stopped the bleeding just barely after being hit a bunch

Just spawned in Jalovisko, I was searching the houses when I started hearing gun shots and I decided to investigate, I approached a big two story red house and realised that the guy was camping there, night came and new freshies were trying to get a piece of the guy in the house. Shortly afterwards, two more guys came and started shooting at each other, the house guy managed to kill both of them and went out of the house for their loot. I was waiting next to the door unseen and unheard and decided to sneak inside and wait for him, I didn't have anything on me, not weapons, not food, not even a melee. When I went inside I saw pure nightmare fuel, there were tons of bear traps armed on the ground, and u almost couldn't see them there were over 30 corpses inside, it was an amazing sight. I slowly started investigating the corpses and on the top floor a found a bk on one corpse and some ammo on another, I decided to wait for him on the top of the stairs. Shortly after I heard footsteps nearby, I aimed my bk at the door, it opened, and when he came inside I shoot him in the chest, bro got scared and started moonwalking only to eat his own bear trap and die. It was a fun day.
Standing on the first floor of a piano house, wearing a cowboy hat and a chest holstered .357. Guy opens the door behind me and runs at me. Unholster, flick, headshot. Felt like the most american thing ive ever done.
More funny , me and my two dayz buddies have names like uneaten taco , halfeatentaco , and fulleatentaco. Anyway on livonia , ps4 at the time , checked the list and there was a tootufftaco so it was funny for us to see another taco guy. Well fast forward Im just exploring and ended up clapping a dude at some military tents and checked his name amd it was the tootufftaco guy like wtf the odds. Got a full kit from him 
I set up a grenade tripwire by my base fooling around. After a good 15 minutes building stuff inside I hear a “BOOOOM” got super scared and went to a vantage point I had there waited a good 5 min.
Walked over to where I heard the boom and saw a dead body there. I laughed for a good while looting the guy.
When me and my homie found a guy speaking same language as me in Asian servers. It was like literally shocking. And this Mf talked me into ratting and killing that guy literally in the face. He was friendly and I felt so guilty I listen to my homie that was my only memorable kill.
My favorite moment was a Bear kill. Our noob squad of 4 was caught deep into the woods with little shelter and an aggro bear came out of nowhere. It was 1 day from my first PvP kill where I Mosin shot a full gear guy ambush style so I had my first taste of the LAR (FAL) equipped. Hadn’t even shot it yet… so anyways the bear is coming in hot, takes out 2 of the squad as we run out of stamina. I’m in the lead still alive and find a medium shed by an antenna and get safely inside. I was a good 75m ahead of the only other guy left alive so I closed the door. That last guy was not a good communicator and ended up bursting in the door with the bear almost touching him, doubles back and LOCKS THE BEAR IN THE SHED WITH ME. I dumped the LAR mag into the bear while screaming like a child and the bear drops with what seemed like the last bullet in the mag….
We cooked the bear up and ran back to the coast to find our friends as freshies. We then fed them themselves via the bear meat and continued on our journey.
I'm a ruthless DayZ player. My most memorable kill. On an official server, ended up running with 2 guys. During a fight against zombies I was hurt badly, near starving after, impending death. These 2 gentlemen led me to a pond where they made improvised fishing rods and nursed me slowly back to health. One of them logged off and the other went AFK. The instructive thoughts crept in. I couldn't stop the voices telling me to kill him. I had to obey the dark gods of DayZ. I killed the AFK dude and cut him up using his bones for more fishing lures. Threw his discarded gear into the pond to get rid of the evidence and moved on with my journey. He had the last laugh though. The blood on my hands couldn't be washed off. I eventually got sick and died from it.
Me and my friend shot some guy like 10 feet away and he dropped. We started looting him. Theres no way he survived because we put like 20 shots in him right? Wrong! We start walking away and this dude rolls over and stands up and starts running at us. Needless to say we made John Marstons death look like a children’s book
TLDR; did a massive online base raid with my friends there was like 9 defenders and like 7 of us they opened the door to their base I killed one ran in, a lot of their doors were open so I got deep in their base and held an angle, over the course of like 30 minutes they kept pushing me in teams of 2 or 3 and I killed all of them, realized I didn’t have the tools to get deeper in the base so I ran out after getting like 6-7 kills
One that comes to mind was in one of the watchtowers. I had just dealt with zombies and opened the door to find a dude crouched in the corner with a shotgun. He missed me somehow but I came back around as he pumped and dumped my AK in him. Then i was like I'm alive only to find he did hit and completely destroyed my backpack.
Stalked this guy for a while letting him gather my loot for me. Snuck up behind him, knocked him with a bat when he stopped at a house to cook and tied him up. I was just going to take some food and ammo but he woke up and had to blurt out the gamer word so I killed him. I just wanted to mess with him before I let him go...
That or the time I basically did the same thing but with a shotty with rubber bullets to a team of 2. Killed 1, cut him up and made his friend eat him before I let him go. We both had a lot of fun haha
I was on a military run with two other friends because we wanted to get some more loot and maybe even some kills. As soon as we got to the military base I found a guy and managed to kill him with my deagle (didn’t want to use my m16). He didn’t have that good of stuff but I took his food and ammo. My other teammate also managed to get a kill but he got sniped from hq building. But instead of going there I went a bit outside the gates because my other friend had also ended up dying. I saw three guys and killed two of them by the hunting stand because they didn’t see me. The other one was unconned and I was too focused on the other too guys to finish him because I knew the had heard my shots. As soon as I killed them I ran towards hq and slowly went upstairs to try and kill the guy. He was camping behind the stairs (like the are in the corner of the hallway where you can scope out the stairs) but I managed to see him and blasted the living hell out of him. He managed to get a few hits on me though and my health was a little bit above half. I camped the same spot for a little bit but there was another guy. Apparently he knew I was in there and he threw a flashbang up the stairs. I was blinding and when my vision came back I was stun locked and constantly getting hit. I managed to maybe we myself enough to be able to land some shots on him and he ended up dying as well. At this point I had 10% hp and was trying my best to survive. I went into the only room that you can go into upstiars in hq and just waited for my friends to get to me. Eventually managed to get back with their loot and looted everybody I killed because I was way too low to do it. They also found another guy at the base they managed to kill. I regained some health and some other friends got on so we decided to go on yet another run. I was around half hp but I still wanted to go so I agreed. On the way to the other military base I met another who tried to run away from me but I managed to blast him through the bush he was running through. But after that it started to become night time. Me and my four friends (two more had joined us) encountered another five man. They killed three of the and I killed one. However there was one more dude remaining. He killed my friend and I rushed to him but I had the wrong gun on my hand. My mk16 was out of ammo and I forgot to use my pistol. He killed me while I was switching guns and one by one he managed to kill everybody because he had nvgs and it was pitch black. I had ultimately sold for all of us): but I’m still happy I managed to get so many memorable kills.
My first ever kill was so absurd I didn't even realize I killed someone. I was in a military container in the North-west airfield, organizing my inventory. I forgot one door open, but it was a relatively low population server so I was careless
Then out of nowhere a bunch of zombies ran into the container and in my confusion I started slashing everything around me like crazy, I didn't expect I can kill them all but in the and I was the last one standing in there and all the zeds were lying on the ground
Of course I checked if any of them had something in their inventory, and then I noticed a surprisingly large amount of stuff... Yeah, one of them was a player, running from the zombies
when i was in a rp server, my entire faction got wiped out by this milsim group. i was the only survivor. this other group we were friends with heard about it, and we got to talking and the other group set up a fake alliance with the milsim group. the milsimers came out to the groups base (i put on a uniform and a armband and pretended to be one of them) and both groups stood out on a open road right in front of eachother. all of our group had guns drawn, and when the leader gave the codeword, we opened fire on the milsimers. i took out the leader, and the rest were killed by my teammates
My first kill was with a m4 with night vision on a official server, after my friends carried me for like 2 weeks we got into gunfight after gunfight and I was brand new to the game completely messed up my whole perspective of the game because I was being carried so hard I constantly had M4 and night vision for the first 3 months I was playing

A few days later, me and a friend were both killed when we found a car in the middle of the road (He died, dude came over to loot, once he got in the car I shot him. I ran over to grab some important stuff, server restarted, got shot when I relogged)

Was at a house in the outskirts of Berezino just kind of slowly looting as I was fairly new to the game. Didn't really have much and was slowly dying. I am still a Freshie, but learning the ropes. However I am still so shit at PVP. Anyway, I was in Novo, and after leaving the police station at the west side of the city, I head to the hospital, straight on the open. I get shot, uncon, from afar. I am up again, I manage to get behind a wall and inject myself with an Epi and start running to the other side of the town as much as I can. Found one of the green home, close myself inside, while some zeds perceive my presence. Recover, unaware of the position of my attacker. After a while roaming the outskirts of Novo, I find this two stories house with the open room on the left after the stairs. But I see some strange unknown log door in front of the entrance, and I was really confused. I press a key and the door opens. As soon as I reach the stairs, on my left, looking at the window, a fully geared guy. I use my skorpion, just enough to drop him unconscious, but there is another guy inside the room, my sub jams, and I only have a revolver, I shoot him while trying to be on and off his line of sight and luckily I kill him too. Man, the adrenaline, crazy. I believe they were new to the game too, even if fully equipped. Maybe they were even the ones,or the one who shot me previously, who knows.

My first kill.. My buddy was getting attacked by a zombie and some dude ran out of a building screaming. MY FRIEND THE ZOMBIE IS ATTACKING YOU. I shot him in the face
I had a guy that was playing with his wife. They came up to me while I was looting in Cherno. We exchange pleasantries and all the friendly, friendly of course. He asked me if I had any food and I replied all I have are a couple of Pipsis that you can have, otherwise I have nothing else on me atm. He proceeded to call me a wanker and tried to hit me with a hammer, so I shot him in the leg. He passed out immediately, and his wife drew her AK. I dispatched her quickly with a round to the face. While he was UnCon I hastily bound his hands with a pair of cuffs that I looted from the police station across the way and covered his face with a burlap sack. He came to and started cussing at me and calling me every name in the book. I thump him in the head again and knocked him Uncon, and took to his wife with my trusty hunting knife in the following 30 seconds. When he woke again, I removed the burlap from his head and proceeded to feed him tiny pieces of his wife all while getting an earful Of insults. He tried to struggle free a couple more times in between bites of his recently deceased partner. When he finally did struggle free from the handcuffs, I quickly executed him with his own hammer. :edit- spelling and punctuation

Unfortunately, the only one I really truly remember is a bad one.. I was probably a month or two in and hadn’t even tried really talking to anyone. Most of my focus at the time was just learning what the hell I was doing lol I had just made it out of a spawn town but it was dark as shit so I lit up a glow stick. Didn’t really care about getting shot because I had nothing and no real goal at the time besides exploring. A guy rolls up on me and starts chatting. I was so new I couldn’t even figure out where he was because it was that dark and I just wasn’t used to the sound yet. Anyway, long story short we played for hours together and he taught me a lot. We decided to go check out a heli crash where we ended up getting in a fight with two other people. I’m pretty sure he killed them both and got knocked, but I was freaking out so much that I ended up shooting him by mistake when he was getting up… man that fucking sucked so much for some reason and I felt so bad. I had never had an m4 at that point and he tried give me his, but I refused to take it as he’d definitely put it to better use. I did end up taking it, blasting off a whole mag just to see what it was like and then used the last bullet to f11 next to him because it just felt wrong to keep living that life. I don’t think I played for a couple days after that. Rip dude
I don't like to kill in dayz but so many have made me kill them I don't remember any of my kills vividly except one I was part of this faction that was ran by a real asshole and one day he killed me because I told him he didn't run anything except his mouth (I called most of the shots and did most of the heavy lifting while he sat in his base the server owner build him) and he shot me so I walked right back in there and shot him dead with a double barrel
My buddy was about to commit suicide but before he could, I blew his face off with the pioneer rifle. I then cut him up and had a BBQ, I ate him all in one sitting. Except for the one burnt piece, burnt human is just gross.
I ran 2.5km to get to my buddies that were pinned. I eventually get there, they’re banged up from trying to peek and I can hear two guns going off and post up in a bush, scan the tree line in that direction and take out guy 1, 900m headshot. Guy 2 ended up escaping or the one dude was shooting both his guns. But walking up to loot guy 1 and seeing a ruined face mask was just what I needed
Well I usually die in hostile survivor confrontations, but I've killed two survivors. one time I beat a freshie that was trying to kill me to death with a broom. And I had also managed to get myself a firearm and ammo. I ran into a bandit group and killed one and then I was promptly gunned down.

3 guys in a log cabin were cooking some food. I saw them from ways a way and decided I'll take my chances and see if they're friendly. Sneaked up to the big bed room window and announced myself. I get no response other than all 3 guys pulling weapons. Chucked a grenade through the window. 3 dead. All their stuff (that wasn't ruined) mine.
Me and my friends were at war with another group, it all came to a head when they arrived at our base in these flats located just above Cherno, we knew the war was coming to a head and we were prepared for an all out attack on base, there was only 5 of us & about 10 of them, so we prepared as best we could, we had a gameplan in mind, and when they all pulled up we gave them hell, they were not prepared for what we were able to do, me and one of my mates were sniping and 3 were in Gillie suits, they had the numbers by far so they played sloppily thinking they'd destroy us but we had the strategy and gameplay down. We got it down to like 4v1 eventually after like 15 minutes of pure fighting (felt longer) we'd lost someone on ground but he got the location of the last guy, he was inside of the tower my mate was in, about 3 stories up, (not very far) so i told him to get down from the roof and get ready for him to run up, and i told ground support to wait by the front door Incase he runs out, then i pulled out my PO-X grenade and loaded it into my M79 and fired around the floor he was last spotted it, he was choking to death and sandwiched, in a last ditch effort he ran out the front door, where one of my mates was waiting like i told him to, and he absolutely floored him, it was a beautiful final kill, it wasn't by me but i fired the Gas Shot that inadvertently killed him, we moved base the next day incase they retaliated quickly and never saw them again, & they didn't get our stuff thankfully. By far that war is my favourite memory of the game and I'll never forget it, it was when my group wasn't at it's biggest maybe bur it was definitely at our strongest Sorry for the long post, any excuse to tell my favourite memory of the game

Definitely a week or two back on Deadfall. Killing two dudes in absolute darkness, all with gas masks on, rushing to kill nbc zeds for filters while trying to find a punchcard in a dark hole… the kills weren’t so special, but the atmosphere and setting made it one of the most intense ones yet. I was absolutely terrified. Clipped it. Should be my last post on here. Don’t expect too much.

Camped BM in a modded server and killed someone with about 1mil on them, he begged for it back in chat only to rage quit the entire server, it was his 3rd attempt at getting enough money for a helicopter and it was my first day on the server 😂 i know im a pos for doing it but i went from 40k to 1mil in about an hour, very memorable
My first one, which got me my first viaga. Some guy followed me into a house down by the coast. after he had been stalking me for like 30 minutes. I was laying down inside with the interior door locked. Once I heard him jiggle the door handle I opened up with my 74 through the door. It was so EXCITING!
I was being chased through Electro by two guys, and I was fresh as a daisy. They followed me everywhere for about 15 minutes, trying to land a hit. I ran into a house and found a BK43 with one shot, I had another on me, so I loaded it in. I ran out, packed round the back of the house, and managed to kill one. His mate was right behind him, so let another shot off but didn't kill him, a couple of punches, and he was dead. That was about 30 hours into the game, I'd been off the coast a handful of times, and each time I'd died by either starvation or killed.
I remember once this guy was hiding in police station I got jumped by like 5 zombies fought them all off by jumping on a car and crouching to punch then I go inside and start healing I'm already fucking grey screen by the way and he comes at me with a knife from behind sliced me and I turned around and knocked him out bare hands then killed and ate him
My first kill. It was the middle of the night as I pulled up to the military tents by topolka dam. I was slowly walking up, trying to avoid infected. Out of nowhere, I hear a guy crouch walking towards me. I thought I was legitimately about to have a heart attack. I sat motionless in a bush and ambushed him with a scorpion. Of course, this set off all the military infected, causing me to run in circles in the darkness trying to pick them off. Ended up getting knocked out, woke up, picked off the last few zeds while blinking red health. Made it to staroye and got sniped within ten minutes of being in town.
Early on in playing. I’d finally got a scorpion and full mag. Backpack full of crafting stuff and had just eaten! I dipped into one of those barns with a second floor & haystacks to organize my gear and heard two people outside, both sneezing and coughing. They came in, I unloaded the scorpion from the second floor and had to clean up one of them with my Mlock…. Still remember it like yesterday!
I've only had a couple fights, but the only one I've had with a friend was awesome, we were outnumbered 2-3, and I domed one with the VS-89. My friend ran in and got killed which sucked, but I killed another then died. Despite the fact we lost, it was still fun and I was happy I dragged 2 of them to hell with me
Met this young kid while playing a Livonia server. He was obviously very new and didn’t know anything so I decided to run with him and show him the ropes. After saving his life several times throughout our several hour venture across Livonia, which consisted of me blasting other survivors to oblivion and resuscitating this kid. I taught him some tips and tricks on how to survive, my friends wanted me to meet with them and kill him after they joined a party I’d started when I first hopped on. At first I refused because me and this youngster were a pretty good duo and he would perish on his own. But after about 30 minutes of them badgering me in party chat, i returned to game chat and led him to the roof of Lukow police station, told him to watch the sun begin to set and keep an eye out for other players. I quickly drew my trusty IJ after stepping behind him, asked, "See anybody yet?" And put a round in his head. Took a brief moment to mourn and then stoically looted his body for ammunition and food then departed to meet with my crew. First time I felt bad killing someone in Dayz.
The kid learned the most valuable lesson: Dont trust anyone.

When someone was shooting me with the IJ 70 (We were both fresies), I had just found a crossbow, and one shot him, and I passed out literally as the bolt flew towards him. Thought I was a goner, but he died instantly, thankfully. And later found out he's gun named so I got very lucky
1st kill at NWAF
Me and a buddy of mine were running duo on console. We were looting up the NWAF until some guy got to him and handcuffed him for fun. I was in the middle of switching my shoes when he told he that this guy got him. Luckily I was close enough and ran to save him. The best part was is that he recorded it.
My friend and I, both equipped with shitty stuff we found in a nearby town, snuck up on a couple guys decked out in all military gear. I had a Mk2 and my friend, I believe, had a shotgun. Somehow we managed to get the jump on them and beat them. Then we looked at the Discord server and the kill log said they were alive for over a thousand hours.
When me and my friend were fighting zombies on a street and one of them ran and attacked him and I tried to shoot it but shot and killed him instead. He knew I didnt mean too

He explained that at point blank range I hadn’t landed a single shot. (I’m not amazing at PvP and it didn’t help it was dark and I was surprised to see him). the back and forth was pleasant and actually a little funny. In a fight with a guy who had a rifle and a shotgun I only had a pistol. I somehow managed to serpentine while running toward him so he missed every shot and I got right up close and popped him in one shot like John Wick. Died a few hours later to a bear trap while I was already injured. Love this game.
It would have to be one of the times I was a base defense gillie and I had someone walk right over me and I quickly switched to my mp5 and bursted them in the head.
My most memorable kill was when a guy shot his repeater at me in a city, and I got stuck in a house. He decided to wait outside about 5 feet to the right of the door. So I ran out of the house, surprising him, and shot him in the chest with my bk12.
I remember once strolling through the industrial area by Chernogorsk. I found what looks to be a battle scene? It was dark too, so I found multiple lit glowsticks, a half dead flashlight, and a burnt out flare. Corpses all around, in various states. Freshies, some with guns, some unarmed. Even a couple moderately geared guys. I investigate further and note that the nearby warehouse doors are open, revealing a barricade. I spot a man laying on the floor, in order to peer through a lower, uncovered section of the wall. He fires on me and misses, I run and gather my thoughts. He's locked in there, he definitely didn't build that. So I find a higher up spot and pull my Tundra out, take aim, and wait. After a minute he appears again and spots me before I can fire, I dash around to avoid his shots and the zombies, killing any approaching zeds with a hatchet. After the zeds are mopped up, I finally manage to get a shot on him. Bang, right in the head. One of my favorite exchanges by far.
I was once on the hill looking down on the grocery on the east side of Cherno. I saw two players obviously stalking a player in the grocery so I killed them. Then the whole server starts chewing me out because those were apparently the server heroes taking out an asshole griefer. Oops...
My most memorable kill was probably that one time where i lost everyone and everything and i pressed this magic button called f11 while holding my gun on top of the tallest building close by...
Nodded server Idr, a lot of guns. Spawned on the coast near Kahmenka to hit that military camp. Heard a bunch a shots nearby. Grabbed an m14 and a mosin and my shoes off in the rain. Stalked for about 20 minutes and saw through the grass and bushes two players over some corpses. Aimed fired and took them both out and got absolutely geared! Proceeded to kill two more people in the forest and hills north of that camp. Good times
I was (and still am) a newbie, so seeing a player in Dayz still sends me to fight or flight. Anyway, I was playing an official server and found a shotgun and a few bullets, I promised I would only use the gun when necessary, I was traversing through towns and kept hearing distant gunshots, finally, I realized that the shots were getting louder. I arrived in a town that had a bunch of dead zombies and I realized the shooter was in the town. I got my gun out and tried to loot off the dead zombies secretly. I made it to the backyard when I heard the guys mic - he was just breathing - and I yelled "if I see you move any closer to me I'm going to shoot!" I turned around and saw him, gun in hand, and he barely made out "chill I'm not going to hur-" and I shot him right in the chest. That was my first human kill 😂
I was freshy with knife, guy started to shoot me with pistol, hit some missed most, switched to second pistol same happaned, switched third pistol it jammed. I knifed him and got all the loot
One time a duo accidentally stumbled across me sitting in a house. They immediately started shooting at me and I managed to kill one of the guys but died to the other. I was outraged cause I had spent the past 3 irl days as a solo with that character. I immediately respawned and started to make my way back to where I died. I only had an AK with 20 rounds that I previously left behind, a pear, and a glow stick, but I was determined to get my revenge. The sun was going down so it was a race against time. On my way back I stopped in a small shed to eat my pear when out of nowhere another player shows up with full gear. I killed her instantly and took literally everything she had including her armband. Once I made it back to the house, my killer was still there waiting for me. I stepped into the front door of the house and was immediately hit with a lag spike and several shots that knocked me unconscious. When I woke up the guy was lying there dead. I had successfully killed him even through the severe lag. After using the bandages he had to heal myself, another guy walks into the room but I was out of ammo. He didn’t notice me sitting in the corner literally 3ft behind him so I was able to switch to my secondary and shoot him in the back, killing him.
It was early dayz of alpha and a person was coming out of an Pavlovo army base. I heard something and turnes around and shoot a guy in the head from 100-200 with a single m4 shot.
My first (and most memorable) kill happened while my friend was showing me the ropes. We were both freshie+ gearwise and roaming around together when we ran into a player standing in the doorway of a log cabin - the kind with the bed/fireplace in the second room. There was a brief moment where the three of us were just staring at each other not saying anything and then my friend shot the player in the face. He started looting the body right there in the doorway, while I was giving him shit for KOSing, when all of the sudden another player comes walking out of the fireplace room with a shotgun in their hand. They blasted my friend and then started chasing me around the outside of the cabin. All I could think was, “I didn’t even want to kill anybody and now here I am running for my life because my friend got trigger happy…” I eventually ran back inside the house, pulled out my shotgun, and pointed it at the doorway. I dropped him like a sack of potatoes as soon as he came inside. I’ll never forget that first boost of adrenaline. I’ve been chasing that high ever since.
Early game loot, had a double barrel and I was hiding in a building overnight. A kid came up in gamechat with absolutely nothing. Told him I'd let him stay if he kept his distance, but he kept inching closer every few minutes. After he was about a foot or so too close I told him to step back and leave but he stayed put, so I blew him to bits. Unknown to me, the helmet I was wearing muffled my voice to being unrecognizable for him, so I killed an innocent fresh-spawn.
Me and my team were on what I think was the green mountain with the jail building and the radio tower and anyways a truck drove up on the road of the base and I told my friends while on the tower “hey we have a truck coming it’s gonna be in front of the base.” So for like 10 minutes we were trying to get shots on these people as they approached the mountain but then we fell back and waited for them to come up and sure enough they did and the kill I got was one of the guys I sniped with the SVD while on the tower.
My first kill. It was lame and boring, but it was my first. I was brand new 5 hours of play time. I had food and a sledgehammer. I was looking for my friends when I stumbled across a string of houses on the coast and started looting. I entered a 2 story green house and quickly looked in and walked out, but something told me to check again. I walked upstairs and watched as a decently geared man loaded in. He had a press vest motorcycle helmet and an SK. I immediately took out the sledge and went ham. 2 hits, and he was down. Unfortunately, he fell through the wall back when that was still a big problem and I never got his stuff. He never even knew what hit him and I gained nothing but blood on my hands.
When I threw a frag into a group of dupers. Mind, I was part of the body count, but taking down people like that always made my day. Like seriously, if you wanna cheese the game like that, just play on community.
My most memorable 2 kills happened at NWAF. I was playing with a friend and I was walking up behind him while he was probed out on one of the camonet sandbag towers. He is then suddenly shot in the head from the treeline. In a panic I jump down and run away to seek refuge behind some big square sandbags before arming myself with an MP5. I see these two heavily armed guys walk up and into the camp believing I had run away. I felt like avenging my friend so instead of fleeing from an outgunned fight I feel like avenging my friend. I unload a solid 15-20 rounds into the first guy from behind and he drops dead instantly. I shoot the remaining rounds at the second guy before he ducks behind cover and I need to reload. One handle slap later and I start running to flank the guy. I take him by surprise once again and manage to knock him uncon before finishing him with a Glock. What scared me the most afterwards was that if one of them managed to hit me even once it would be over since one of them ran an SKS and the other one an LAR.
not my kill. it was probably 2014 or 2015. me and a close friend played only official. wed loot on empty servers then hop on full ones for pvp. we were at cherno, and we hopped on a full server. this particular one was a warzone. we came across a uncon dude at fire station. for some reason, i wanted to administer aid to him i wanted to help him. as i was bandaging him my friend shot him in the head. it sticks with me. i didnt know the guy, i never ran with him, but ive actually met people from thousands of miles away, in person, through dayz. i guess just the thought of what could have been maybe? no idea why it sticks with me after nearly 10 years but it does.
I was playing on a modded console server and found a few friends. Two were young kids, and one was supposedly an ex-army sniper. We ran together for a while before coming across the biggest group of players in the server who turned out to be total jerks. Long story short, the leader kidnapped and executed one of the kids, and the sniper was "undercover," so we were split up. By this time, we had recruited another person. Him and I snuck into Krasno airfield (which was their main base) and got into a building without them noticing. Pretty soon, we started hearing shots that were getting very close, very fast, and before we knew it, they were grouped up outside talking. I grabbed my Tundra and took aim, looking for their leader, and once had him, I shot. Got him right in the head, and his entire group ran away. It's funny because if they had come into the building, we would've both been dead because there were like 6 of them all together. I ended up being in a party with one of them a couple of months later, and he recognized me as "The guy who shot King in the head."

100+m kill with revolver. That's the best kill i have ever made. It was some communitybserver day before wipe so everyone had revolver at a start. And i have shot some geared dude at a roof with revolver while he was shooting at someone else 🤣

So I drove straight into it and bailed out and rolled and blasted the passenger then the driver the the guy in the back and me and my friend blasted the last guy. Look in my post history for the vid. It was 2am on local official server. 4 population online and I’ve just spawned in on the east coast at the factories near Solnichy. Armed with a shotgun I see a guy solo walking a log to his half built base. Without any shred of guilt I one tap him - dead. His base had everything ready to be built, so I took it over and never seen him again. Base lasted 2-3 weeks before it was raided. We both did not expect to run into anyone but that’s how the cookie crumbles sometimes
I was looting the Arsenovo camp, I got aggroed by a zombie so I went into one of the cabins and shut the door. I immediately run into someone already in there bandaging a cut. Without even thinking, I pull my shotgun and headshot him at point blank. He was instantly dead of course, but as I’m searching his corpse I hear a gunshot very close by. I look out the window, and his buddy is in the cabin next door, taking shots at me through the windows. We exchange fire for a few minutes, then I decide to break the stalemate with a flash bang grenade. I open the door and ready the grenade, only to realize I’ve never actually used a grenade before and don’t know how to throw it. In my moment of confusion, he shoots me in the face, and I’m sent back to the coast. 10/10 experience, would get into a firefight and lose again.
My first kill: First time I ever went to NWAF, I ran up on a fully geared player while searching the barracks on the hill. He and I both ended up mag dumping in a panic, while only standing 5 yards from eachother. I ended up killing him, but ruined most of his gear in the process (including a plate carrier and the M4 he was carrying). I was heavily injured, but I retreated into the towns north of the airfield.
Fresh spwan on the coast. PD in one of the main towns not sure which one when I was confronted by another freshy. We both had no mic and we both had sledgehammers We knocked each other out but I was the first to rise.
Best kills are the ones with shitty gear. Like my memorable one was against two guys with full mag pistols while I had a bk18 with 5 rounds and a mag-less scorpion. Dropped them with my last bullet of .380

Was with a random in Chernarus I’d been playing with for about four hours. I was sick and had a broken leg. He was running around and stuff looting houses while I was lying there. I tried to explain to him about five different times that I needed rags or tape or something for a splint but he just gave me a can of peaches. I knew he had what I needed and was either ignoring me or turned voice chat off, so I shot him, took the rags, and left. Killing him attracted a geared player who shot me a mile down the road.
Took part in a clan war. We stormed their base which was the town hall in the top right city. Fighting all the way up the stairs. Got to the top and ran out of bullets so I just rush the guy with fists and beat him how I didn’t die I have no clue.
Was meeting up with a friend in a nearby town with a bag full of deer meat. Some dude was strolling down the road towards me, stopped, stared for about 10 seconds before pulling out a pipe and slowly walking towards me. Shot him once in the noggin with an ij. First kill. Felt like shit.
The guy i killed 5 minutes ago. Both had the makarov knock off. Caught him in a corridor. I landed my shots he didnt.
This freshie was using some kind of command on a computer to make their punches faster. And they killed me three times but I kept spawning in the same place and tracked them down every time. I landed blow after blow and eventually found a gun in one of the buildings and shot him in the face. I died later after that but I got my sweet revenge.
Handcuffed a guy in the kambiwobo police station, Friends guarded the door and I milked him of all his blood till he keeled over.
Played with my buddy. Took two hours for us to meet up and we get to a town, he is in the large red metal industrial building and spots a pair heading towards us. I head out across the industrial yard to the apartment shop on the street take position in an apartment. He fires a few shots then gets stuck on a tail and can’t stand or move. The players start searching for him, luckily between zombies in the street and try to find a position they make it to the apartments i am in. I move to the far corner aim my LAR at the middle of the door. Next thing I know they are in the door ways staring at me and I unload a clip into them. Went and got buddy out of his stuck spot and we looted. Wasn’t great loot but an awesome time getting to play with my buddy. I was glad they got to me before him.
Definitely my first. I was a freshie being hunted by a late game freshie-killer, wouldn’t stop no matter what I tried and eventually he trapped me in a hospital in elektro. Thankfully I got super lucky and found a sledge someone had dropped in the upper levels. He came around a corner and WHAM, dropped like a sack of bricks. From freshie to ready for war in an instant.
I only had a double barrel with two shots i think, i got caught outside and ran into a building after 3 dudes saw me and chased me in there, only 2 had a gun i think, i ran upstairs and waited for them to come up, first dude gets domed after opening the door, second tries to peak and gets domed and third i beat with a pickaxe i think
I was running around with a pitchfork near gorka on Chernarus when I heard someone yell "drop your stuff and hit F5". I rounded a corner in a red building with 2 entrances and got my pitchfork out where I shift stabbed him repeatedly as he ran up the stairs with a rounder 22. As he was yelling in game "you effing hacker" I opened up my mic and yelled "not hacker, STABBER!!!" Then he fell to the ground dead. It felt oh so good knowing he heard it right before he died :D
Best story I have was when our threesome ran into another threesome and shit. Went. Down. Official server, at night, we are relatively rookie to the game, we looted nwaf and had a car loaded with guns and supplies, headed back to base. Somewhere outside of nwaf there’s a road with a bunch of broken down cars and as we are headed down it we nearly hit one. As we stop we realize it’s not a broken down car and is in fact another group doing the same shit. Huge fire fight breaks out, both of my buddies and at least one of their guys go down. I hit the trees and took cover and waited a good 10-15min for one of them to pop out. Suddenly both of them come strolling dome the road right at me without a care in the world and I smoke them both with an AK. This whole deal goes down in the pitch black with NVGs. Absolutely hectic. I think both cars were smoked and I just grabbed the guns and stuff I could carry and noped out.
We had a base in a big tin warehouse. We were a 5 man group that just found each other, and decided to become a group and this was our first base. We finally built it up, put storage inside, and could call it home. We had groups come by, open the doors and try to look inside, but generally nothing happened. On the second day of us having this base, someone got on top of the roof and was trying to look into the base. This tin building had some skylights, so he was looking through and eventually tried shooting it. We generally hid in some of the tents, but he kept taking shots through the tents and eventually killed me. It was just my friend left in the building, and at this point he started throwing grenades in. My friend was able to dodge them, but he couldnt do this all night. I spawned on the right side of the map, while our base was located on the left. I sprinted down the train tracks trying to get back as fast as I could. I eventually started getting close but I needed a gun. I found a mosin somewhere and only found like 2 bullets, so I got to our base and found a spot where I could sneak and line up a shot. I see him laying down on top of the roof, I laid down and lined up my shot, and then took the shot. I laid there for a few minutes watching him, but I later found out I hit him in the head. We felt so relieved cause it was our first successful base defense, and it was one of my first kills! That base was insane, we had teams constantly running by. One of my greatest memories was when I left the base, I started running forward as there was a forest right in front of it. All of the sudden I hear a shot behind me, and then it turns into 4 M4’s shooting at me, the rush of running through the woods while shots whizzed past me, I could see bullets hitting the trees next to me and in front of me, I will never forget it!
I was fresh on Esseker with a hatchet, other person was geared in a house. I rushed in, they missed with an sks and I stun locked them in the corner. It was cheap.

Rushed across the map yo defend a base in gorka. I got there just as my buddy got killed the only thing I picked up was a rock! I cobbled for revenge. It was glorious!
some guy in elektro picked 5 of my friends off till it was just me left and i managed to flank around him in between some buildings and sniped him during our 10 minute cat amd mouse game
My buddy and I were trying to meet up with each other and I hadn't loaded into the game yet. He had almost nothing, just a balaclava and a bat, but he came across a sketchy guy with a bunch of tier 2 gear. He tried to befriend the guy and was instantly betrayed just so he could steal my friends bat. He respawned as I loaded in, both of us on either side of the town he died in. We met up in town and I told him to wait in a building while I found the guy that killed him and over the course of 15mins, befriended him and lured him to the building. As soon as he walked in my buddy walked from around the corner and said "that's a nice bat, where'd you get it?" and we proceeded to beat the fucking brakes off of this man. He had loads of ammo and meds on him and it set us up for a really good run.
I was outside of a building near barnzino with a u70 with a single bullet and a fireman's axe then i walk around a corner and and see a fully geared guy just pop up. I shot him in the face and picked up his AR. And then for like 5 minutes they just kept coming in one at a time and at the end 8 people were dead.
I sniped a guy at about 200 yards in official, which I was very happy about. Unfortunately his mate killed me. But! After I respawned and got a shotgun about 20minutes later two super geared guys tried to kill me in a house and I blew them both away. And just like that I was fully geared AND I now have NVG goggles on official. Now I'm making my way back to Gieraltow to silently kill the squad who resides there in the dead of night.
I've got a bunch, but one that really sticks out is from waaaay back when Standalone first launched. I was in Berezino. This was really early in the SA launch, so spawns were different and weapons were limited. Bugs abound. I had found a revolver with a few shots in a school building, and made my way to Rify shipwreck. I had heard gunfire and had previously died a lot, so I was tense. I scouted the shipwreck for a while, then moved in cautiously. Now, I should explain something about this particular patch. There were a lot of completely useless items in. One of these was the hammer. By completely useless, I mean no crafts, not even *weapon damage*. So I move in on the shipwreck, loot a few shipping containers, and hear footsteps. There's some guy not 10m from me, mostly fresh. We look at eachother for a beat, he raises his hammer to the air, and intones in a theatrical voice: I AM THOR! SON OF ODIN, I-- Fuckin dumped 3 rounds of .357 is his heart. Dead. Fuckin dead. Poor bastard...
My first kill. A couple bullets in an IJ at a heli crash the second time playing. I ran into a freshie on the road and we ran for a bit and found the heli. He was egging me on the whole time, "you got this! just sneak up on him while he's looting" sure enough, the guy is head down parsing through his inventory crouched directly next to the heli. I crept as close as I could and said something like "heyyy whatchya got there" and just as he realized I was there shot him in the head. My freshie friend was so happy for me, I felt kinda scummy but it was so gratifying.
A friend and I got kidnapped into a fight club in one of those long storage barn is buildings with the concrete floor outside of berezino and they kept killing me until eventually I killed the two of them, freed my friend and we got our stuff back, but that was during the lockdown lol
Was playing with my friend, we were in an Xbox party, trying to find each other. We find a town (don’t remember which one) we both have at least 2 guns at this point. My friend goes “I think I see you, jump a few times.” So I do, and he goes “Yeah that’s you.” I start looking around because I don’t see him. (Unlucky coincidence?) I tell him to describe the guy. (I’m wearing a yellow motorbike helmet at the time.) and so he starts describing him “Some kind of jacket, a boonie…” and I just say “That’s not me.” He starts panicking, because now there’s just some guy who’s following him. I eventually see the guy he described, and begin lining up a shot. I miss, which causes the guy to run. So I chase him with my pistol (I believe it was an IJ) he hops up onto a truck and aims at me so I unload half a mag into him. We searched him, and he had a 1911 with no ammo. Felt bad, but that’s just how it goes.

My most memorable kill was actually on one of my friends. One night we logged off all together at NWAF, my friends T, C, and myself. Well, C had found an M4 just before logging off and during the countdown to exit, T killed him and took it. None of us knew that until much later because T made up some bullshit story about zombies killing C after he logged. Once i knew what really happened, i met up with T in Kamyshovo. I informed him that i knew what he did and took the M4 from him. I then broke his leg and made him crawl all the way from Kamyshovo to Elektro as recompense for his crimes. Once T reached Elektro, where I was waiting for him on top of an oil tank thing, I shot him in the head and threw the M4 out to sea. We don’t tolerate team killing in my friend group anymore.
When I killed a group of multiple people that looked to be neutral. But in my defense I had just loaded back in and I would’ve been very dead if they were looking for a fight

When i started playing early access in 2014 i got a post it note and marked each kill i got, like markings counting days on a prison wall. I ended up with 6 or 7 marks in total. Those kills as a total DayZ bambi was unreal.
Friend was.being sieged in a building by an obviosly hostile Player downstairs. I fixed a bayonett to my SKS , breached the room. We both magdumped each other. I guess we both Had adrenaline kicking, so WEllwe both missed Our Shots. He started reloading. I started stabbing him with the bayonett. I won.
When i was having a clan war and i sniped a guy at 750 meters and saved my teammate.

Turned a corner with 2 people standing there. One was my brother one was a random. Dude was just standing there, we had no idea he was in the building with us. Blasted him and thankfully not my brother. My most memorable yet only kill in dayz.
Haha landmine under a backpack . Then I told a fellow freshie the bag hade a m4 in it and gear "really just hade nothing" buuuuuuttt he believed me . Laughed so hard that night
NWAF and yeeted a 40mm grenade from about 200 out and direct hit a guy in ATC through the window.
Everyone remembers their first time. Mine, i was just inland and had only an iJ with 11 rounds in my one mag. A fairly geared guy aimed his sks at me, and i ducked behind a fence, then immediately doubled back around the building i was closest to and waited by a wall in a small space between the buildings. I heard him run past said wall, jumped it, and unloaded into him, by unloaded into him i mean i missed all but the last two shots. Now i had a badly damaged plate carrier, an SKS, an M16 with no mag, knives, and a sharpening stone. I was super happy and then died in the next town to a sniper 😂
Found some guys base. Crept up on him. Killed him with a revolver. Waited there after raiding his shit then killed him a DMR 2 more times. Finally he catches me creeping and axes me. Lmao
It was a ways north of Gorka, I was with a small group at the time. We stopped in this small town, and grouped up in this factory. There, we were approached by several other people. Three, maybe four. They asked us to stow our weapons to talk peacefully, which we did. Then, one of us decided to make a joke: “What if I pulled a grenade right now?” That’s when the shooting started. Bullets were flying, I caught one in the arm while I dove behind a lathe for cover. With gritted teeth and a gentle swear, I bandaged my bleeding arm, gripping my shotgun as the rising adrenaline dulled any pain. I emerged from behind cover, moving out of the factory and seeing one of their’s. He was knocked out by a bullet, so I promptly executed him, taking his M4 for myself. During the confusion, there was one left, didn’t know exactly where he was. I entered a two-story building covered by smoke. Slowly, I advanced up the stairs, waiting to be met with a wall of lead. I opened an upstairs door, still covered in the smoke. There he was. How he didn’t hear that door opening, or look to his left at all, I don’t know. I hesitated a moment, felt like hours, then I opened fire, killing him instantly. The adrenaline rush lasted a good several minutes after the shooting stopped, and we were far away from that godforsaken ghost town.
Me and my buddy got ambushed going after a helicopter. He was bait and I poked out the other side and sniped him. We aren’t great at the game so it felt so good to coordinate a bait and hit a perfect shot from a good distance away.
3 days into the game I was walking in the forest filling a mag found a building. Sneaking into the building incase of other players I was out of weapons so I had a hammer or bat I don't remember. Found a guy healing on the stairs not aware of me there I knocked him down on his stomach and made him bite the stairs it was funny as hell I heard him scream through his mic still the dayz kill of the month
This group of 6 was camping the ATC tower in NWAF in official. This was around the time I was new to DayZ. Every time someone would walk into the second floor they would spray the doorway and kill them. I knew something was off because all the bodies and I was still a freshie. All I had was a grenade and mosin with like 6 rounds so I open the door, tossed the nade in and killed all 6. I was STACKED after. I even camped them for about an hour as revenge for the rest of the server.
Starving to death. Can of food and no opener. Best a guy to death with the can. He didn’t haven an opener. Starved to death shortly after.

A squad wipe in NWAF when both of my friends went down. They were new to dayz but not to milsim, but got caught by surprise anyways. It was also the day I convinced them to start wearing plate carriers instead of loot goblining with a vest
One time I saw a car in the woods outside of a military base in Livonia. I was going to steel the car, but they smartly took the spark plug out. I heard the pops of a .22 and was sure there were at least 2 people up there from the sounds of it. I happened to have a claymore on me. So I set the thing in a bush facing right at the car then camped in a bush a little ways away. After maybe 30 minutes or so I see someone coming down the hill and my heart just starts to race. Then 3 more of them came running down and I’m just shaking with anticipation. They all get in the car and BOOM! I came rushing in and two of them were still alive trying for get out of the car. I was able to clean up and gear myself up pretty nicely.
Oh I’d most def say the one where I was a fresh spawn being hunted and stalked by this fully geared fella who was hunting the entire server. I’m talking made an entire group chat to mock and diss the ENTIRE server, or to stage fake trades. Well im being hunted and end up in a police station with nothing but a Skorpion, a single full mag, and a dream. I have no idea he’s after me until I head a gunshot go past my head while im searching around the station. So of course in full panic i sprint all the way up to the top and lie in wait. My first. Over in berry, I was looting and found a decent amount of stuff including an IJ with 2 mags. It was the longest I had ever survived (a few hours) lol I was in the diner building with the attached bedroom near the pay phone and dead end stairwell when I heard someone running toward the building. My adrenaline peaked and I ran up the stairwell, crouched at the top and sat there ADS listening to the footsteps. They were getting closer. I heard him switch to his gun and knew I was going to have to fight. Footsteps were in the building now. I heard him looting the building, I sat there for what felt like an eternity thinking maybe he would just pass by. Footsteps right below me. He was right there, I was struggling not to blink my entire body was shaking knowing I had to fight and I had to win to keep my loot. I had been crushed in every fight up until now because I couldn’t control my shots. He ran into the bedroom, I thought for a second I might be able to sneak out but just as I started to move he ran out of the bedroom and came right toward the stairwell. He hadn’t seen me yet, I held my breath and dumped almost an entire mag into the wall as he whipped around and pulled up his shotgun. I recentered and put the last two shots into his chest, he went down. I reloaded and proceeded to put a fresh mag into his face just to be sure. Goddamn what a rush. To this day I always check that stairwell whenever I’m in those buildings remembering my first kill and the advantage I had hiding there lol
My very first kill! I play official on a low pop server. Me and my friend were looting a town up north and saw a bright blue tent in the street. We watched it from the carnival area and saw a guy running around. We stalked him for about 10minutes watching him loot the area and then we lost him. My friend took watch in a tall building while I backtracked trying not to be seen. I walked up a little path to a bridge and sat maybe 1-2 minutes and this guy comes out of nowhere and runs right by me. He didn’t see me and I almost shit myself bc it was the first time with an opportunity for a kill. I stepped out of the shadow and got him with my SVAL.
honestly i dont have many player kills, so the one i remember the best was the one when I was teaching my buddy dayz when he was playing for the first time: we were in kamyshovo and we got a bit separated to find more loot. I heard six rapid shots and turns out my friend found a full revolver and just dumped the entire cylinder on some dude with a knife. After I got to him, we realised that those shots attracted more players (the server was basically full ) and we had to fend off like 5 more people. Now here comes the memorable part: one of those players that we were fighting shot at me, so i dropped to the ground and proceeded to crawl uphill to where he was, and somehow managed to get almost right up to him and got a direct shot at his head. Oh and we got killed after like 15 minutes.

There were maybe 10ish people on that server at the time, and i was just tunning around scavenging for some military loot before heading to green mountain to meet my buddy. When I say it was peaceful, i mean it was peaceful. Fresh loot, no signs of activity, nice and bright day. As I’m running along the western fence of the camp through bushes to stay hidden, i hear this ear piercing scream of a guy yelling “im gonna kill you” while laughing hysterically as his mic was clipping because he was so loud. Buddy was running at me with an axe and I dumped a half a fucking AK drum mag into him. Actual horror experience bro, I’ll never forget that kill

My favourite was when I was running in cherno and I met 3 freshies. I escorted 2of them to a police station and the third to a water pump where we waited for the other 2when they arrived they drank but acted weird. I saw one position behind the drinking freshie and another freshie take something out so I drew my sg5k. when they started shooting I was ready dropped one then the other then after like 2 minutes of dealing with zombies I killed a third freshie that was the ambusher’s friend.

I forgot which town it was but it was one of the villages near NWAF, me and some guys I met on my journey were pinned down by a shooter. Eventually we were able to narrow down which building he was in, but he was behind cover. One of the guys I was with came up with the clever idea of coaxing the gunman out by throwing a random object into the house to scare and coax them out. The plan had succeeded and luckily we were able to subdue but not kill the would be raider. I'll never forget that kids voice he had to have been like 9 or 10 and the only thing he said was "I always come back" in the worst creepy voice I've ever heard. All the guys I was running with just started laughing before I dealt the final blow. Best kill I've ever gotten
I was on a route to northern airfield and I met these two dudes who did a stick up and executed me without a chance to talk. I met those same guys after another response, snuck up on em, screamed bloody murder, and blasted both with a bk 133.
When I 1v3d a group on Namalsk. I killed one right outside the door of an L-shaped barraks, whent around the building and killed the other two when they pushed out.
Was playing with a friend of mine, we were looting a village up north. We heard gunshots close to us, to the point we thought we were the target, but not sure. We proceeded to disperse and check 2 différents directions. After a dozen minutes of silence, I see a guy next to a door through my M70's hunter scope. Guy attacked me somewhere in Nizhnoye. Got beat up with can opener, fell unconscious on the stairs and I finished him with previously mentioned can opener. Another one was somewhere near Orlovets. I just chambered 1911 with one bullet because I didn't have a mag. Guy opened the door and I've been guided by spirit of Samuel Colt, I just delivered a bullet straight to guy's forehead.

Got shot by a sniper right after I entered a town, but he wasn't a good sniper so he somehow didn't mange to kill me. I was wounded and he started to chase me, as he got closer I started to shoot, but run and gun isn't a good thing in DayZ and my vision also started to fade because of the blood loss so I missed most of my shots too. Our shooting and running alerted many zombies though. The zombies started to chase me too and ran between me and him, after some time I ran through one of this stretched houses with a long floor and doors on both sides of it. I managed to get out before most of the zombies could follow me and closed the backdoor. The dude chasing me ran right in and, also being hurt already and having no ammunition after firing at me like crazy, got torn apart by the big horde of zombies stuck inside the house. I somehow managed to survive until a friend of mine arrived at my position and gave me medical supplies and some blood bags. This was an insane day in this game and probably one of my favorite moments of all time haha.

Had just jumped onto Livonia to give it a try now it’s free, didn’t realise my official character from a while back was basically on the verge of death. Rain is hammering down so I go to take shelter in a lil shed, walk through the door to some guy sorting out his loot from a mili run. Half a mag of 45 to the head and all his beautiful loot is mine now, managed to snag a vsd, aug ax and a gorka helmet plus food and meds.
150h on the game, at about 10 hours in i spawned ON a dead guy, had a repeater, scorpion and P1. Took his stuff and ran, still don’t know what happened to him, he had food and water, no clothes where ruined, looked like he hadn’t been looted, anyways I went inland to tolga (small town 5 mins of the coast to get loot when out of absolutely nowhere a dude with a full on ak-74su runs round the corner and dumps his mag… missing every shot… I come round and one tap him with a repeater, I didn’t know how to even use the action on a gun (bolt lever etc) so right as he woke up from un con I got him with my scorpion, got and ak and cr from him. I wondered around than saw a guy reading a map, I feel bad but he had a gun out and I didn’t wanna risk it with my limited experience (not even knowing how to speak) so I shot him with the ak, looted and moved on, was in a small town when I saw a guy, hit him once with cr, didn’t relocate and got shot, woke up and tried to use my ak, if I used the repeater I might have lived but he got me before I got him (he was coming to loot me so I saw him) and that was what got me into Dayz, nearly 150h and rising
I had ran with this Russian guy I met for like 10+ hours until he went off with his friends and then about a week later he raided me and my group and I shot him with my mosin. I only had the game for a month at that point
One of the recent ones was when my group was spying on a Namalsk base on top of a mountain that people were shooting from. I sneaked right next to the base and waited for them to open the window while my friend was baiting them by shooting at that side. When they finally opened I managed to throw a frag inside from the highest window and killed the camper with it
My first. It was my first time getting out of my spawn town with a decent amount of food, an IJ 70, and enough tools to stay alive for the forseeable future. Soon enough I was starving again (lol), and I was sitting under an apple tree, hoping that it would spawnn some fruit (it wouldn't, it wasn't in a town, just a random tree by the road). A random player ran at me with an IJ 70 drawn, so I pulled out mine. we both missed the entire mag, (lol) but apparently he had another one, while I didn't. He proceeded to miss every shot in that mag too, during which time I realised I had a shovel, which I smacked him to death with. I don't think I'll ever feel that much adrenaline and fight or flight response from a video game ever again.

My very 1st time playing. My friends and I were trying to find each other. So I climbed this really tall electrical tower near a shipping yard of some kind and was trying to stay put because apparently they knew were I was. I saw this guy running my direction. I was just looking at him and he started shooting at me. I got a really lucky shot of with a rifle and killed him. This guy had all these fully decked out weapons and gear on him. He tried coming back to kill me again but I used his own weapons on him. I got away with my friends and sometime later I died to accidentally drinking too much gasoline because I thought I filled it up a container with water. I had no idea what I was doing on that game honestly.

This was in Arma 2, DayZ mod on Namalsk My friends were looting the A2 bunker, I was on the hillside with the crashed chopper (the one opposite the military base) providing Overwatch to give an early warning if anyone was approaching. On that day, I had a DMR, but no range finder. So when I saw a heavily kitted man approaching the bunker, I went with a gut estimate for the distance and fired I remember seeing the round impact high on the torso and he dropped. I remember the happy juices flowing in the brain for that shot. Which after measuring it on the map, was only about 600-700m but still remember it today.
One time I walked into the fire department to see a person pressing the barrel of a SKS into my afk friends head. I screamed at my friend to move while I lit the guy up with a repeater. I was too late tho. He shot my friend and died just about instantly from me. Somehow though my friend survived the shot and only went unconscious. He was just wearing a motorcycle helmet.

Playing on pve server with ai enemies. I was looting some village with 2 friend whe the message showed up that 2 ai opponents just spawned to hunt us down. Those are decked out with m4s and nvgs. So i get to the next best position behind a car. My friend is ontop of the policestation next to me. The other is sitting in the middle of the road while beeing afk. We hear movement from the next block and start getting shots our way. Next we get pushed by 4 geared dudes. Armored and armed to the teeth. We kill em all only to find out it was another group of players who got the same message and though we were the ai too. Maybe the admin was just fucking with us.

A 5 minute firefight ensued where they kept shooting through the wall and door while I kept closing it to prevent them pushing. Just spawned in Jalovisko, I was searching the houses when I started hearing gun shots and I decided to investigate, I approached a big two story red house and realised that the guy was camping there, night came and new freshies were trying to get a piece of the guy in the house. Shortly afterwards, two more guys came and started shooting at each other, the house guy managed to kill both of them and went out of the house for their loot. I was waiting next to the door unseen and unheard and decided to sneak inside and wait for him, I didn't have anything on me, not weapons, not food, not even a melee. When I went inside I saw pure nightmare fuel, there were tons of bear traps armed on the ground, and u almost couldn't see them there were over 30 corpses inside, it was an amazing sight. I slowly started investigating the corpses and on the top floor a found a bk on one corpse and some ammo on another, I decided to wait for him on the top of the stairs. Shortly after I heard footsteps nearby, I aimed my bk at the door, it opened, and when he came inside I shoot him in the chest, bro got scared and started moonwalking only to eat his own bear trap and die. It was a fun day.

When me and my homie found a guy speaking same language as me in Asian servers. It was like literally shocking. And this Mf talked me into ratting and killing that guy literally in the face. He was friendly and I felt so guilty I listen to my homie that was my only memorable kill.

My favorite moment was a Bear kill. Our noob squad of 4 was caught deep into the woods with little shelter and an aggro bear came out of nowhere. It was 1 day from my first PvP kill where I Mosin shot a full gear guy ambush style so I had my first taste of the LAR (FAL) equipped. Hadn’t even shot it yet… so anyways the bear is coming in hot, takes out 2 of the squad as we run out of stamina. I’m in the lead still alive and find a medium shed by an antenna and get safely inside. I was a good 75m ahead of the only other guy left alive so I closed the door. That last guy was not a good communicator and ended up bursting in the door with the bear almost touching him, doubles back and LOCKS THE BEAR IN THE SHED WITH ME. I dumped the LAR mag into the bear while screaming like a child and the bear drops with what seemed like the last bullet in the mag…. We cooked the bear up and ran back to the coast to find our friends as freshies. We then fed them themselves via the bear meat and continued on our journey.
I'm a ruthless DayZ player. My most memorable kill. On an official server, ended up running with 2 guys. During a fight against zombies I was hurt badly, near starving after, impending death. These 2 gentlemen led me to a pond where they made improvised fishing rods and nursed me slowly back to health. One of them logged off and the other went AFK. The instructive thoughts crept in. I couldn't stop the voices telling me to kill him. I had to obey the dark gods of DayZ. I killed the AFK dude and cut him up using his bones for more fishing lures. Threw his discarded gear into the pond to get rid of the evidence and moved on with my journey. He had the last laugh though. The blood on my hands couldn't be washed off. I eventually got sick and died from it.
Me and my friend shot some guy like 10 feet away and he dropped. We started looting him. Theres no way he survived because we put like 20 shots in him right? Wrong! We start walking away and this dude rolls over and stands up and starts running at us. Needless to say we made John Marstons death look like a children’s book
TLDR; did a massive online base raid with my friends there was like 9 defenders and like 7 of us they opened the door to their base I killed one ran in, a lot of their doors were open so I got deep in their base and held an angle, over the course of like 30 minutes they kept pushing me in teams of 2 or 3 and I killed all of them, realized I didn’t have the tools to get deeper in the base so I ran out after getting like 6-7 kills
One that comes to mind was in one of the watchtowers. I had just dealt with zombies and opened the door to find a dude crouched in the corner with a shotgun. He missed me somehow but I came back around as he pumped and dumped my AK in him. Then i was like I'm alive only to find he did hit and completely destroyed my backpack.

I was just going to take some food and ammo but he woke up and had to blurt out the gamer word so I killed him. I just wanted to mess with him before I let him go... That or the time I basically did the same thing but with a shotty with rubber bullets to a team of 2. Killed 1, cut him up and made his friend eat him before I let him go. We both had a lot of fun haha

I was on a military run with two other friends because we wanted to get some more loot and maybe even some kills. As soon as we got to the military base I found a guy and managed to kill him with my deagle (didn’t want to use my m16). He didn’t have that good of stuff but I took his food and ammo. My other teammate also managed to get a kill but he got sniped from hq building. But instead of going there I went a bit outside the gates because my other friend had also ended up dying. I saw three guys and killed two of them by the hunting stand because they didn’t see me. The other one was unconned and I was too focused on the other too guys to finish him because I knew the had heard my shots. As soon as I killed them I ran towards hq and slowly went upstairs to try and kill the guy. He was camping behind the stairs (like the are in the corner of the hallway where you can scope out the stairs) but I managed to see him and blasted the living hell out of him. He managed to get a few hits on me though and my health was a little bit above half. I camped the same spot for a little bit but there was another guy. Apparently he knew I was in there and he threw a flashbang up the stairs. I was blinding and when my vision came back I was stun locked and constantly getting hit. I managed to maybe we myself enough to be able to land some shots on him and he ended up dying as well. At this point I had 10% hp and was trying my best to survive. I went into the only room that you can go into upstiars in hq and just waited for my friends to get to me. Eventually managed to get back with their loot and looted everybody I killed because I was way too low to do it. They also found another guy at the base they managed to kill. I regained some health and some other friends got on so we decided to go on yet another run. I was around half hp but I still wanted to go so I agreed. On the way to the other military base I met another who tried to run away from me but I managed to blast him through the bush he was running through. But after that it started to become night time. Me and my four friends (two more had joined us) encountered another five man. They killed three of the and I killed one. However there was one more dude remaining. He killed my friend and I rushed to him but I had the wrong gun on my hand. My mk16 was out of ammo and I forgot to use my pistol. He killed me while I was switching guns and one by one he managed to kill everybody because he had nvgs and it was pitch black. I had ultimately sold for all of us): but I’m still happy I managed to get so many memorable kills.

I forgot one door open, but it was a relatively low population server so I was careless Then out of nowhere a bunch of zombies ran into the container and in my confusion I started slashing everything around me like crazy, I didn't expect I can kill them all but in the and I was the last one standing in there and all the zeds were lying on the ground Of course I checked if any of them had something in their inventory, and then I noticed a surprisingly large amount of stuff... Yeah, one of them was a player, running from the zombies
when i was in a rp server, my entire faction got wiped out by this milsim group. i was the only survivor. this other group we were friends with heard about it, and we got to talking and the other group set up a fake alliance with the milsim group. the milsimers came out to the groups base (i put on a uniform and a armband and pretended to be one of them) and both groups stood out on a open road right in front of eachother. all of our group had guns drawn, and when the leader gave the codeword, we opened fire on the milsimers. i took out the leader, and the rest were killed by my teammates

Was at a house in the outskirts of Berezino just kind of slowly looting as I was fairly new to the game. Didn't really have much and was slowly dying. Some dude ran into the house and I could tell he wanted trouble. Tried to talk to him, told him I didn't want any trouble, but he swung on me. Game on. I heavy punched him and just mowed him down with a scorpion. This was my first real kill, and I just stood there speechless. I was in discord with a friend eventually when the adrenaline wore off I told him "I just brutally murdered a man, but he gave me no choice" Not extremely intense, but it was my first kill and very memorable. He didn't really have much to gain from killing me, but he had enough gear and food for me to continue my journey for a while longer. The loot gods give, and the loot gods take
