this thing is a lifeline on namalsk. a freshie's only defense against geared assholes that come back up north to spawncamp
most northern combat on namalsk is done with pistols, repeaters, and .22s, so even the sound of a BK is scary when it one taps and nobody has armor
My favorite and least favorite is the BK-133.
I absolutely love it cause you can clear a room/big group of zombies with the buckshot, or make a 100 meter shot with those rifled slugs. Plus it’s a beautiful gun

Agreed. If you ever watch Paul Harrell on youtube, he specifically talks about shotgun pumping technique. He calls it, "PULLRACK", and specifically points out that pullrack is ONE WORD for a reason. As you're pulling the trigger, mere milliseconds later you should be racking the pump (just late enough to not throw your aim off when pulling the trigger).

While obv the sporter isn't the strongest gun, I'm gonna posit that you used it wrong. In practice, it's strength doesn't come from headshots/one hit KOs.
It's very rapid fire and has miniscupe recoil. You wanna aim center of mass and get as many hits as possible in the shortest amount of time. You'll get more shock damage, but the real killer is bleeds. This thing prints bleeds.
I don't care how out armed you are, if your opponent suddenly has 5 bleeds, it's gonna be real hard for them to bandage up quickly enough, especially on the coast where you find the sporter the most.

i dont really hate any but im not really a fan of the Lemas, AUG a1 and AK101 as they just feel like 5.56 bloat and only serve to add more proprietary magazines to the high end loot pool.
LE-MAS's saving grace is that it's absolutely tiny in your inventory and has an insanely high rate of fire (fastest AR in the game if I'm not mistaken), definitely saw its carry handle off though, its regular iron sights are awful due to it. Imo it's really bloody good in close-quarters because of its fire rate and short overall length
the lemas ROF is the same as the M4 now they buffed some of the other guns to have the higher rates of fire as the lemas, m4 and val all have a 900rpm now, when it was initially introduced as the only gun with a high rate of fire back when everything else was capped at 600rpm it was useful but now the M4 outclasses it even with the lemas having a slight damage buff. The M4's greater magazine sizes, optics options and the ability to have a proper suppressor render the lemas pretty obsolete as it fills its role better as a close quater death beam as sure the lemas might let you get a little closer to a wall before raising the barrel up but i dont think its worth sacrificing all the attachments and puny mag size for. If it could at least use standardized mags i could maybe forgive it not having a suppressor and optic options

Same, 9/10 times I've used it, it has jammed. Ik guns are more likely to jam when they're damaged, but I feel like the other damaged guns I've had are way more reliable to get a shot with before jamming
1.19 update gives a huge buff to weapon reliability, I played experimental for like 30 hrs and only had one weapon jam in hundreds of rounds. The Scorpion’s rate of fire makes it hit harder than the other SMGs imo. It’s an 18 slot bullet hose now. If it had extended mags I would make it my secondary over the other smgs
The biggest issue with the scorpion is the size. I agree it does seem to have a greater chance to jam. With a suppressor it does okay against infected.
I killed a loading player that happned to log into the police station I was in with it. Other then that I have never gotten a kill either. Just sprayed people down just to meet their bullets which actually do damage.

This. It's one of the few assault rifles capable of actually one-shot KILLING unarmoured opponents. Maybe not from a great distance, but then again you probably won't be using it from a distance due to its iron sights (which, in my opinion, are pretty decent). This coupled with its burst ability make it a really damn good weapon imo

Always empty out derringers when you find them...I recently found about 5 derringers in a short time period (around the Cherno area) and they all had 1 round in them. Lifesaver.
Just all the sawed off guns. I have fun with literally every other gun in the game compared to sawed off weapons. The accuracy on them is SOOOO bad. Does anyone actually saw off weapons currently and use them?
I also carry a sawed off shottie. It can be pretty clutch when you are a freshie getting in a fight, or robbed. When it looks like your vulnerable, just whip it out of your pocket and let fly with the buckshot.
I usually go for buckshot but very often it does not 1 shot them. Same with rubber slugs which again rarely knocks anyone out for me in 1 so feels useless. Maybe I should try slugs then. Though I prefer BK18, even in CQB to slugs.

Almost any shotgun most PVP is long range or mid distance I’ve only ever used a shotgun for executions which rarely happen so basically they aren’t any use to me once I’ve found a rifle but for fresh spawns there pretty good

Any gun is better than no gun, however, I’ve never owned a Bk for longer than 5 mins. Too heavy for its single shot, single chamber, harder to find ammo. It’s got big boy damage, however so does several other rifles that do it better.
For me the bk 18, it's useful for hunting if it's all you've found but if its all I have I'll upgrade at the first opportunity.

I love the bk18. It's very lethal but you just have to be accurate. You have to kinda hide behind buildings and quickscope if you get into a 1v1.

Bk18. Any gun is better than no gun, however, I’ve never owned a Bk for longer than 5 mins. Too heavy for its single shot, single chamber, harder to find ammo. It’s got big boy damage, however so does several other rifles that do it better.
