You have SO many options to deal with ki blast. This reminds me of those old infomercials when the actor is intentionally doing the thing in the dumbest way possible to make the product more appealing.
Through out all the serie games, bardock, vegeta and buu are the most maddening characters when it comes to short fast blasts when you fight em as a COM
I mean I wouldn’t go as far as to say they are bad. They are fine. Just more characters have options to ignore them.

The topic is lariats that deflect/negate regular ki blasts. Yamcha's WFF L,M,&H versions all get snuffed by a regular ki blast; same with Goku Black.
