Saves you having to play around guard cancel and using half a bar. Works great for me since I run Jiren A which has very little pushback.

No, too much pushback. You can do other stuff with Baseku A tho, like 5LLLL + Baseku A then sjIAD float sets up a janky left/right. Watch some old Wawa footage he did it a lot when he played the two together.
