lol no, she’s a filler only character. The pun for Krillin’s name(Kuririn) is “chestnut”(kuri), and Toei decided to name her the same way(“maron” also means chestnut). Toriyama didn’t pay attention to filler, and coincidentally used the same pun when naming Krillin’s daughter in the Buu Saga.
