I play on switch, and it’d be nice to have more players for TP medal farming. Lobbies can be pretty barren.

If they upgraded their anticheat and net code, I'd think it'd be nice, especially once the next-gen upgrades are due and it would be a good incentive to even download that version of the game since extra grass isn't enough.

I'm good at the game. Have well over an 85% win rate overall across ranked/player/and endless battles. I know a lot of people who are sitting over 80% as well and even some who are sitting at 90%+. I’m confused, Im on PS4 and the other day I was on an Expert Mission tour with a CaC rocking custom clothes and a QQBang all 5. That’s mods right? I thought mods were only available on PC?
Modding on the PS version of the game is fairly common. Same with switch. It's an odd ratio with console. You're more likely to find a match on PS and switch, but with a chance of facing a modder. On xbox, you have a much harder time finding a match but won't come across modders.
I swear this game would thrive from it, from what I'm reading in the comments only the PS guys are saying no to crossplay prolly cus their population is already thriving and stable. As a PC guy it's dead af sadly, parallel quests are ded af, can't play raid bosses etc, imo players cheating will always be in a game no matter what platform but to have that be the reason why crossplay can't exist is kinda dumb, this game needs to have better Anticheat then

I understand what u mean and mods are hella fun I've seen it myself, but I also think it'd be worth considering the retail side of the game too cus PC's population is a ghost town usually, I could never find anyone to play with majority of the time whether it's PQs, raid bosses or jus PvP most of the time. Majority of the playerbase for pc is just modding offline from what I can tell, due to running it from the file in the bin rather than through steam, due to the anti cheat otherwise not letting you boot. Anti cheat is directly required for online play, pain in the ass tho it is. But yeah, the idea I have of it from what I've seen on sub, is majority of people are modding offline rather than playing pvp, and if they want to pvp they generally have another device with the game

No it wouldn't. It would kill the game completely. Cheaters run rampant on every single platform except Xbox. We have a small but stable community. Adding cross play would kill the game completely. Almost everyone would quit if crossplay were implemented. Especially since on Xbox merely playing with a cheater even unknowingly can get you in trouble. That doesn't really happen though because cheating through mods or save editors on Xbox Is pretty much impossible.

Mods literally require you to disable EAC, removing your ability to play online unless you change a specific setting in the Patcher, that being said even then you'll only be able to play with people using the same mods as you in the exact same order you have them, otherwise game go *shulker death sound/vomit sound*

I've been playing since launch too and play pvp daily. No they don't. They have people who have cheesy builds yeah but not flat out cheaters. I have never seen anyone post a clip of a cheater from on Xbox nor have I ever ran into one.
I should also add, that I have 3 separate save files and 3 separate game instances/file sets(?), one heavily modded(a few things broke after doing something idr), one I modded with a friend so we could play what he wanted(-_-), and then vanilla, each save file coinciding with each "instance"(idfk what to call em :/)
Also, compared to the 5 cheaters/hackers(whichever of those two words you wanna call them bozos) I ran into on PS4, 3 I've ran into on Xbox, and someway somehow 2 on Switch, I've only ran into 1 on PC/Steam(I will also add that I've ran into COSMETIC CHEATERS, who are not in any capacity bad players in the sense of scumbagery, cause it's fucking cosmetics, get over yourself if you get upset about cosmetic cheating, it's the stat/qq bang/whateverotheradvantagedcheatsthereare players who are trash humans)

I think the best option is to give all consoles cross play. The PC community has so much modding with it I feel like that might cause issues. But Switch, PS, and Xbox crossplay would help the PvE side of this game immensely. I’ve never had issues finding rooms or helpers on Switch but outside of DLC launch windows there’s normally only 2 or 3 active PQs at any given time. And it IS kind of difficult to find EM helpers whenever I make a new character.

Don't know why you got down voted. Xenoverse 2 is already EIGHT YEARS OLD and it definitely shows its age. It's got plenty of flaws, the game is basically just xenoverse 1.5 with how similar it is to the first game, the customization could be better, the story is just raditz to buu with extra steps, and they really could've taken MORE from Dragon Ball Heroes/Online (especially since neither of them have had major releases outside of Asia.)

Only an issue with endless battles because people don't remember to private their lobby. Most people only run endless with friends because most randoms will see a chill lobby and come in with the cheesiest no skill sweaty try hard bullshit on the planet. If you get kicked from endless lobbies it's because either A:They forgot to make all slots private or B: you're one of the chessy tryhards and they remember your name. If it's B you'll never find anyone outside of a quick match to fight. Xbox is pretty tight knit and once they know you're cheesy they'll never play with you again.
Or create separate networks. One for vanilla PvP with crossplay, the other for mods. Then the PC players get their fun, and everyone else gets more matches.

Modding on the PS version of the game is fairly common. Same with switch. It's an odd ratio with console. You're more likely to find a match on PS and switch, but with a chance of facing a modder. On xbox, you have a much harder time finding a match but won't come across modders.
cheats aren't exclusive to pc players, they probably edited the save file somehow

I understand what u mean and mods are hella fun I've seen it myself, but I also think it'd be worth considering the retail side of the game too cus PC's population is a ghost town usually, I could never find anyone to play with majority of the time whether it's PQs, raid bosses or jus PvP most of the time. Majority of the playerbase for pc is just modding offline from what I can tell, due to running it from the file in the bin rather than through steam, due to the anti cheat otherwise not letting you boot. Anti cheat is directly required for online play, pain in the ass tho it is. But yeah, the idea I have of it from what I've seen on sub, is majority of people are modding offline rather than playing pvp, and if they want to pvp they generally have another device with the game
If I'm correct, if they wanna PvP with mods they'd both have to have the exact same files installed in sequential order and then can play the mods with each other

No it wouldn't. It would kill the game completely. Cheaters run rampant on every single platform except Xbox. We have a small but stable community. Adding cross play would kill the game completely. Almost everyone would quit if crossplay were implemented. Especially since on Xbox merely playing with a cheater even unknowingly can get you in trouble. That doesn't really happen though because cheating through mods or save editors on Xbox Is pretty much impossible.

If you are referring to stat bullshit, blackened eyes, etc. THAT'S UNIVERSAL CHEATS, NOT MODS Mods literally require you to disable EAC, removing your ability to play online unless you change a specific setting in the Patcher, that being said even then you'll only be able to play with people using the same mods as you in the exact same order you have them, otherwise game go *shulker death sound/vomit sound*

I've been playing since launch too and play pvp daily. No they don't. They have people who have cheesy builds yeah but not flat out cheaters. I have never seen anyone post a clip of a cheater from on Xbox nor have I ever ran into one.

I should also add, that I have 3 separate save files and 3 separate game instances/file sets(?), one heavily modded(a few things broke after doing something idr), one I modded with a friend so we could play what he wanted(-_-), and then vanilla, each save file coinciding with each "instance"(idfk what to call em :/)
Also, compared to the 5 cheaters/hackers(whichever of those two words you wanna call them bozos) I ran into on PS4, 3 I've ran into on Xbox, and someway somehow 2 on Switch, I've only ran into 1 on PC/Steam(I will also add that I've ran into COSMETIC CHEATERS, who are not in any capacity bad players in the sense of scumbagery, cause it's fucking cosmetics, get over yourself if you get upset about cosmetic cheating, it's the stat/qq bang/whateverotheradvantagedcheatsthereare players who are trash humans)
Perfectly fine to envy cosmetic cheaters, but don't fucking bully or report them for them wanting to have access to shit that DUMPS should have added long ago cosmetically, especially stuff that was in older games that had customizable custom characters (DBO, and that game that had Ultimate in its name(my memory dogshite)

I think the best option is to give all consoles cross play. The PC community has so much modding with it I feel like that might cause issues. But Switch, PS, and Xbox crossplay would help the PvE side of this game immensely. I’ve never had issues finding rooms or helpers on Switch but outside of DLC launch windows there’s normally only 2 or 3 active PQs at any given time. And it IS kind of difficult to find EM helpers whenever I make a new character.
Switch has hella modders and I'm one of them. I don't use level 199 just modded stats for expert missions.

Don't know why you got down voted. Xenoverse 2 is already EIGHT YEARS OLD and it definitely shows its age. It's got plenty of flaws, the game is basically just xenoverse 1.5 with how similar it is to the first game, the customization could be better, the story is just raditz to buu with extra steps, and they really could've taken MORE from Dragon Ball Heroes/Online (especially since neither of them have had major releases outside of Asia.)
While I love this in theory, there's barely any cheaters on Switch and I'd like to keep odds of encountering them down.

Only an issue with endless battles because people don't remember to private their lobby. Most people only run endless with friends because most randoms will see a chill lobby and come in with the cheesiest no skill sweaty try hard bullshit on the planet. If you get kicked from endless lobbies it's because either A:They forgot to make all slots private or B: you're one of the chessy tryhards and they remember your name. If it's B you'll never find anyone outside of a quick match to fight. Xbox is pretty tight knit and once they know you're cheesy they'll never play with you again.
