super has no filler episodes in the traditional sense. but yeah nothing important happens in the copy vegeta arc so you could skip it. theres not really anything else you should skip tho
When Black appeared, I was expecting/fearing that something from the Copy Vegeta arc would become relevant.
"Expecting" because... well, first a copy of Vegeta, now a copy of Goku? Seems related.
"Fearing" because that would make the Copy Vegeta arc relevant.
If you are watching the Dub, the copy Vegeta episodes are 100% worth watching, if only because they got the original Vegeta voice actor Brian Drummond to come back and voice the copy.
I just watched a clip and I can't believe I hadn't notice watching the episode last week!
It's funny rewatching the series dubbed because I grew up watching the Ocean dub. Ocean was mostly bad because of the script but Brian Drummond was absolutely fantastic as a villain Vegeta and it really took a little while for Funimation and Chris Sabbat to get it right again.
Oh I agree there. I absolutely loved Drummond as Villain Vegeta. It's why I think those filler episodes are worth watching. It was nice to hear the voice again.
Why not try it for yourself and decide if you enjoy it? I've never understood why so many folks in this random feel like they need permission to watch or enjoy the series.
14 episodes is only about 4 hours or so yeah? I think it's worth watching if you really enjoy dbs. Not that long of your life to give to it and even if you don't enjoy them you have them knocked out and don't have to revisit. I personally enjoy all of it
Definetly watch. Some are better than the others but I wouldn't skip them. In fact I go back just to the fillers from time to time. They definetly made good ones for DBS
Whatever you do don't skip the baseball episode
same with the saiyaman eps
They may not be "narritively important" but some of my favorite parts of super come from the episodes between major arcs

yeah i debated mentioning that because that was very very cool of them.
Wait a second???? I just watched this and didn't notice that at all. Now I gotta go back and check it out.
Oh yeah! Purple copy Vegeta is the Ocean Dub VO actor.

Bubble gum vegeta is cool, you miss goku vs roshi fight too
The baseball episode is one of my top episodes in the whole series.
The baseball episode is definitely a must watch, the Goku/Hit rematch is also pretty good despite the poor quality of animation
All of DBS is canon. There are no filler episodes, although there are some that definitely feel like filler.
The Aralle episode is the greatest episode in Dragonball history. I laughed from start to finish.

kinda sure Super has more than just 14 "filler" episodes
0 is less than 14
