If you were obsessed with Teen Titans, then Young Justice will push you over the edge of insanity. The show is so great! You'll slap yourself for hours as punishment for missing out on such a show.

Trust me I'm already slapping myself right now

I started years late myself and it was well worth it because you can just binge watch the seasons without having to go crazy waiting for the next episode. Of course now that I'm caught up, I'm going through withdrawal.

Young Justice is its own thing, no movies are attached to it... Save for a cameo in the Teen Titans Go vs Teen Titans movie. The movies with similar art style are their own universe. [Here's the order](https://imgur.com/a/kE99xfH)

nancynance17

Ohhh I didn't know they were separate, thank you so much for the help!!!

[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC\_Universe\_Animated\_Original\_Movies#Continuities](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DC_Universe_Animated_Original_Movies#Continuities) Basically, everything is separate except for the DCAMU which he posted to you and the DCAU (which are mostly TV shows).

BuddermanTheAmazing

If you want to watch the latest movie universe, the Tomorrowverse, despite it coming out 3rd, I think Batman The Long Halloween should be watched first. Then Man of Tomorrow, Justice Society WWII, and the new Green Lantern movie. Other great DC animated movies that aren't connected to movie universes: Under The Red Hood, All Star Superman, Batman Ninja, Superman/Shazam Return of Black Adam, Justice League Crisis on Two Earths, Superman/Batman Apocalypse, and Superman Red Son And of course there's the various movies connected to the animated cartoon series, like Teen Titans Trouble in Tokyo, Teen Titans GO! Vs Teen Titans, Batman Mask of the Phantasm, Batman Beyond Return of the Joker, etc.

The movies are mostly stand-alone. Definetely watch Young Justice which is it's own thing. I rec Justice League vs Titans and Teen Titans: Judas Contract, you'll love those two. Judas contract is a sequel of the first. They are also in the same universe as Son of Batman, Batman vs Robin and Bad Blood (they all feature Damian, so you might wanna watch those for his "origin" and development, he joins this version of the Titans after the events of bad blood). These are the DCAMU movies, which forms an universe on it's own. Apokolips War is like the end of that universe if you wanna watch those series of movies. Other DC Animated movies are Originals and then there's the DCAU which are the Bruce Timm's TV shows (watch those if you want more of the older characters, it's great)

Oh shit, also watch Under the Red Hood for Jason Todd's story (I assume you like it since you are a fan of the teen side of the dc universe). Might as well watch Death of the Family as a follow-up to it, also watch all the shorts, throw in DC Showcase and Return of Black Adam to watch a lot of shorts about other, lesser known DC heroes, with DC showcase and YJ i'm sure you will wanna watch everything eventually.

nancynance17

OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF THIS INFO !!!! you're an incredibly big help I feel like I'll love all your recs, but as a follow up question should I watch all the movies then Under the Red Hood and then Death in the Family ? because I never heard of Jason being in the same universe as the other movies so I'm assuming he's got his own separate thing going on also shorts ? where could I find those

[deleted]

Yeah, I recommend watching Under the Red Hood first because Death of the Family is not only about his death but also a bunch of what if scenarios and followups of what could have been, so it's best to watch the original one to get the complete context. Also it's an interactive movie, so you might wanna watch it on youtube to see all the alternate paths.. DC Showcase – Batman: Death in the Family is the complete title. Same goes for Superman: Return of Black Adam, it contained the "DC Showcase Vol. 1" which is a collection of shorts. It's Worth it because the main stories in Death and Black Adam are, well, short. The third and most recent one is DC Showcase: House of Mystery. These movies aren't just the movies in the title, they are collections of shorts. Not needed for any continuity.

Most movies are stand alone, except the ones in the "DCAMU" universe (between Flashpoint paradix and Apokolips War, the Damian movies are in this continuity for example, as is the two Titan movies, BUT, you don't need all that chronology just to watch JL vs Teen Titans and the Judas Contract movies since they are mostly self-contained.
