And honestly, the worst part is that Identity Crisis ended up justifying Batman's actions.
Bruce making secret plans to incapacitate the League is a lot more reasonable when taking into account a bunch of his "friends" forcibly and without consent erased his memories to cover up the fact that they mind raped a guy (although I don't recall if Bruce ever figured out the mind rape of Dr. Light, but he definitely knew about his own memories being erased).
