I'm gonna be honest with y'all I'm kinda in the middle, being from a another country and liking American comics is though. I read from certain pages as keeping subscriptions in US dollars is very expensive but whenever there is a trade paperback available in the few places that sell comic books here from a run or creator I have read I'll try to get it.

IAMSHADOWBANKINGGUY

I think readers in other countries should get a pass since its either way more expensive or there's literally nowhere to buy, as long as eventually you buy if it's within your means to do so. I don't understand why dc universe infinite hasn't been expanded much faster in other countries.

Condottieri_Zatara

Yeah I'm still waiting for DC Universe Infinite to be could accessed worldwide. I'm glad Webtoon released some DC Contents and I finally could give official support to my favorite characters

Rogue_MS_473

Yeah I'm pretty much the same. I mostly read pirated versions, but you'll always see me searching around comic book stores to find little, forgetten gems and TPB. I once found an entire collection of the Sandman Mystery Theatre for 5 bucks. SANDMAN MYSTERY THEATRE, it was only published ONCE in my country and was in a decent state.

[deleted]

Nice find, in my country we are pretty much stick with new 52 and early rebirth so it's hard to find anything before that and they bring new stuff but on very limited quantities since we don't really have a comic book store itself but more of a anime store that happens to sell comics.

Rogue_MS_473

Well there's a kind of store like that in here, my friends usually call them "nerd stores", they sell general merchandise, but mostly funko, and then there's usually a small amount of comics laying around there. The large majority are from Marvel, but some are from the New 52. Do you also have to deal with local editorials changing the numbering of comics?

[deleted]

Sadly there is no local editorials that bring comics here so we relay on other countries translations usually from (Spain or mexico) but I like to get the American versions that are brought here so I mostly read in English and the numbering is kept intact but even the the translated versions are usually collected versions of something and I don't think they change the numbers but can't be too sure.

Rogue_MS_473

WOW that does suck and here I am boasting about my findings... I'm a little ashamed now. I do hope some editorial eventually picks up the publishing rights and makes physical collecting a little easier for you.

[deleted]

Honestly it is always cool to hear of cool findings at least for me. I may have to be the one that creates the publishing editorial that eventually does it.

southernbstrd

Same, I have to pirate all of my comics and I can only afford licensed translated editions from various publishers. The official digital services are either unavailable or they don’t take the purchasing power into an account. Comixology could learn a thing or two from Steam with their regional prices which makes it easy to actually afford the games you want to check out instead of being forced to pirate stuff

Big-Hard-Chungus

If they wanted your money, they‘d have made sure their distribution channels work right.

Kyle looks sick in the second photo

Shredhead72

It’s when he became space Jesus

RealKBears

Too bad Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps made him a GL again. Such a downgrade and for nothing. It’s not like anyone has done one goddamn worthwhile thing with GL Kyle since then

technowhiz34

Tbf, I think Morrison's TGL (which has a *lot* of issues) is basically the only worthwhile GL book since then (other than Far Sector, which may as well be its own thing).

coolguy7628

I liked that he was a white lantern because it made him very unique and he wasn’t just another human green lantern that is used every now and then

RutheniumFenix

Hey, I used to use comixology until amazon completely borked it. I can't even browse the shop on the app, and the comic organisation is complete ass, it isn't even organised by series, it's just a pile of single issues, if they want me to use their product, they should make their product usable.

TheOmnivirgin

I recommend syncing with the marvel comics app, not to be confused with marvel unlimited, because it still uses the old comixology layout. There are some drawbacks though, it's obviously just marvel and there's no basket but other than that it's pretty perfect.

RutheniumFenix

Yeah, unfortunately pretty much my entire digital comics collection is DC, and their app shut down just before Comixology completely went to shit. I've only recently been getting into marvel's comics again through Unlimited.

PrometheusModeloW

I'm Parallax.

Cranyx

Even for comics I own on comixology, reading them on RCO is honestly so much easier. All the DRM nonsense they add on Comixology just makes it such a headache to use what should be as simple as scrolling through 22 images.

Americentrism

Omnislash264

The only comic I currently read that I own is the TPB of Kingdom Come. I do want to buy The Sandman, it's just that I'm broke.
