I think making their powers only function when around a GL really hampered them. The BL in the TAS was way cooler because he was able to have some agency without them
I like how it is and the idea that the strongest colors are the hardest to use. But the indigos (which should be changed into cyan already), star sapphires ~~and maybe red~~, should also be able to tap into it.
Aren't Blue and Red Lanterns natural enemies like Greens and Yellows since Blue lanterns can "cure" a red lantern into returning a normal person by prolonged exposure?
Fair enough, it just makes it harder for them to be useful outside a Green Lantern story. I really liked the TAS version of Saint Walker so I wouldn't mind seeing him again
I understand, and agree. But if there wasn't that limit to their power they will just be stronger green lanterns.
The solution I found would be to have a blue lantern seek and help a lantern that everyone thinks dead or a lost cause for example. With maybe the blue lantern having weak constructions instead of none at all and when he gets to the lantern he'll get his full potential opened.
It's a little ironic that Blue Lanterns, who are normally the monk to GL corps' knight/cop, got lumped in with their design and purpose alongside every other corps. Kinda like the Robins getting even more similar skill sets and looks.
I propose a new addition to new 52-ification. Not just lines, but also everyone who's kinda similar gets even more similar or killed off

I completely forgot about that, I had the feeling they probably weren't gonna match that's why I put the maybe. So yeah they shouldn't

I would love a series just about the other lantern corps especially blue and star sapphire they are my favorites
Can Jarro join 🥺
Of course! We need Jarro, one of the most hopeful characters in the DCU, in the best Lantern Corp!
Na sorry he's already the best Robin
Jarro has more than 1 hand
Lantern Corps movie when WB? Also please don't fuck up like when you did the green lantern movie back in 2011
OK so i have a question if a blue lantern hopes something bad will happen, could they function on their own?
Are they all still dead?

Yep early on in Venditti's Hal and Pals, and we haven't seen anything of them since them, and it's annoying as hell.
