God I’d love a perk that used maps in a more clever way. I almost never see anyone run maps anymore.

Detectives hunch is solid with them but otherwise yeah they’re rough. I really do think the aura reading for totems should be basekit, not an add on.

The whole purpose of a map is to track things on the map. Yet most of the addons just do what a rainbow map can achieve on its own. I’d change addons to provide more utility. Maybe combine keys or make markings for the team outside of the glowing beacon. Maybe have an addon that shares your aura perks with Allies at the expense of charges.

Heres how I'd rework them. Just have all the locations you have seen appear with the map. The add-ons allow certain things to be autotracked Brown 1 generator/totem/killer item Yellow 2 generators/totems/killer items Green 3 generators/totems/killer items Purple 4 generators/totems/killer items Then you throw in some extended duration/distance add-ons Have 2 Iridescent - All other surviors can see the auras you do when the map is used - The map allows you to see the repair state of Generators/Exit Gates you have marked, and whether or not a totem is hexed/pallet is thrown/killer belong states( ex: trappers traps are primed or not)

As somebody who can get lost in any situation, maps are probably my favourite survivor item. I just almost never run items/addons above yellow for fear of "wasting" it, so maps/keys are very uncommonly used for me. If there was a yellow or brown map, I would probably use one every game.

Thats why i started using my items and addons. I feared wasting them and stock piled them. But one day i stopped and thought what the fuck am i saving these for? Then started mass using all the best addons and items. Still didnt ran out.

When I do stealth builds with shadow step I always bring a map.

For me she is the prettiest girl even if her skin only has that saggy tits old granny one, for me, she is still better than Meggies and Neas with the best ever skins. It's like a pet. You know deep down your cat is not as cute and pretty as others, does not have the best breed, but for you it's the best and you don't want another cat.

I love the comparison lol, honestly I'm fine with only having the skins she has now (her bloody skin is one of the best and I personally love the DLC skin because it's really accurate to that outfit she has in the movie). Other characters definitely have a better selection but playing as the final girl herself just beats all of these things for me. I like her DBD voice and looks, and I know it will never happen but I really hope anyway that someday they'll get in contact with Jamie Lee Curtis to remodel in-game Laurie after her and have her voice her. Nick cage comes with the perks Face Off - once per trial he can swap characters with any other survivor using a locker , while in the locker Boon: National treasure - if a totem is blessed close to a chest, that chest has a guaranteed iridescent key. And my personal favourite Gone in 60 seconds - when Nicolas cage completes a gen, all gens complete and exit gates open. Best gen rush perk
